- I just happened to find the most amazing furniture set that I have been searching for! A lucky find and perfect for a secret project I am working on. I spend more hours in the bathroom working on my dream space by adding the accent designs I was dreaming of for the clawfoot tub! + more English Homestead adventures to share!
Those piggy’s are the cutest!!! Thank you for your kindness towards the lost dog… he looked cold and scared! He hit the jackpot finding your homestead 💗… the curtains above the tub are dreamy!!! It really has been transformed into the bathroom of your dreams 😊💛

I LOVE you bathroom! The tub does look so dreamy, imagine soaking in there with candles, loads of bubbles, full moon outside so you can see all that you have accomplished! It is so dreamy, can't wait to see the final final of this bathroom!!! Love that colour on the walls too! You all have done such a great job
Glad Maggie got home safe, she knew where it was safe to look for help!! We have a border collie/bernese mountain dog they are the best!! The curtains look amazing with the tub!!

That is a maple set Elysia. It looks nice nice stripped and a white paint wash or light stain. Love your bathroom updates. ❤
Recommend you purchase a drywall sander which attaches to a shop vac. Inexpensive, effective, and truly eliminates 99% of the dust. Restoring a 1792 house in Central Pennsylvania and it achieves flat, smooth walls with VERY minimal dust.

The bathroom is turning out beautiful. We sold some clawfeet at auction. They were in my grandparents garage, but none of the current houses have a clawfoot tub. I just love any sort of cast iron tub. It holds heat and feel feels more high and then fiberglass imo.
I would use the extra material from the curtains for the bathroom window!

The two pictures on the bathroom wall simply need some Command picture hanging strips that stick to the wall and the back to hold the bottoms in place against the wall.
Maggie came to the right place bless her heart. I think it's awesome how much love you have for animals. We're the same we rescued a pitbull that was being abused. It breaks our hearts that people can do this to any animal. He is living the good life now and is spoiled rotten and gets along with the cat. I love the curtains you picked. I wish I would have thought of that when I had my tub like yours. The bathroom is going to be so beautiful when your done like everything else you've done in your home. The pigs are so stinking cute. Don't understand why you put your pigs so close to your house. My experience with pig are they stink and they are very nasty no matter how clean you try to keep them . Your yard use to look so pretty but not now . Don't mean to hurt your feelings just my opinion
When we were children we were not allowed to go anywhere near the pig pins . Pigs are dangerous if dad caught us down there we would get in so much trouble. Dad always said they would knock us down and eat us and he wasn't kidding he was serious. Piglets are cute but full grown pigs are just that they are pigs lol
The point of having acreage is not for us to just have grass but to have space for our animals. Its winter there is no pretty greens, gardens of bidding trees. Keep watching and you will see all we turn this acreage into. LOTS more to come! Things you would never even imagine@@melindareeves58

Laundry shoot would still be good. I have found through life things change. While you are doing the Reno remember to keep in mind everyone gets older. The shower is similar to mine, it is to small if you are ill. My husband died, when he was very ill he couldn’t take a shower there was no place to sit so you couldn’t help him. Always remember when doing a reno remember your getting older day by day. I hope you or your viewers won’t be upset just passing on observations.

The tub looks stunning! It’s like a fancypants ‘Bed and Breakfast’ bathroom! I wonder if you can play around with a loop or bow tie or foldover of the curtains some artistic way before you hem them since you won’t be actually needing to close them. That green color is stunning. I made a note of it for the future!
I hope you guys watch Justin Rhodes for homesteading. He has used his pigs to clear brush land that he’s wanting to convert to pasture. Those pigs could root up your intended garden area!
Another RUclipsr moved to Nova Scotia and bought a house. I realize it’s a big place. I’m sure you know of ‘Ariel Bassett.’ I’ve followed her for years on BookTube. She moved to Nova Scotia and bought a house sight unseen, too. She does house stuff and book stuff. She just bought a little truck to doa bookmobile around Nova Scotia!!
Now ‘Shannon Makes’ is there. She’s a Circus Artist! Like an aerialist!! And crafter! I just thought that was so interesting. She also bought a house she’d never seen!

What a great find your dining room table set I think it is of course the perfect project for you guys and in all honesty those chairs are you guys I think once you fix them up they just fit your family style I think perfectly. I love a nice big, round dining room table, especially when you can make smaller or larger. I can’t wait to see what you do with them.😁

Just a thought maybe you can resin mold with moldable clay then use resin into the mold, for the two missing feet...Ive done similar to match up missing pieces, you would paint the feet on the side yuo dont see..paint base same and then the gold it'll be good..(you might have to buy two kits , there are videos out there, I recommend Jami ray vintage)

This is wild. I put a old iron tub in my house 25 years ago and it only had two claw feet. I used two pieces of 2" x 4" for the back feet. Also painted the front feet gold. I must keep an eye out for a set, but I know they are not all created equal or not universal. They have to fit the slots underneath the tub.
