- This addition to the bathroom will be part of our house now for the next 100 years! I still cant believe how far this bathroom renovation has come from soooo dark and outdated and not function to this dreamy simple space.
Raising the tub curtain was a game changer!!! It’s really coming together and looks dreamy!!! Great job!!!
I agree...raising that made a huge visual difference....can you imagine soaking in that with a glass of wine watching the sunset or the stars..or maybe even the northern lights??? amazing....

I haven’t finished watching yet, but I wanted to tell you that I like that when you open the bathroom door, the toilet is hidden just in case someone get’s accidentally walked in on. Silly, I know but I would love that in my bathroom!

Love the bathroom, great job! Bet you could use modeling clay to shape a gap filler, even working a design into it. Then make a mold of the clay pieces to make plaster of paris inserts. You should be able to carve and sand on these to make them fit, then paint with you gold paint!
Of all the bathroom renovations I have watched, this bathroom is my absolute favorite! From the beautiful colors, to the gorgeous and practical floors, to the perfect vanity, the pretty mirror, the amazing homemade touches with Phil's bench and Dayton's stool, the rich carpet, and all of the perfect details ...yes, my favorite!!! It looks grand for an historic victorian home, yet it is warm and cozy at the same time. I can already tell that I will rewatch this reno playlist many, many times! 💚☮️✨

Your bathroom reno has been a stroke of genius with every detail. You teach us all a vital lesson when you realize that something isn't working or looking like you expected, and do an about turn and tackle it again to fix it, like you did with the height of the curtain rod. Your buffet turned into a vanity is absolutely gorgeous and the sink you chose is perfect. It didn't happen overnight, but taking the time to really think about how you want to live in your home and what is required to get it there is always worth it, as you've so clearly demonstrated. Kudos to your entire family for the hard work and vision!
Luxury- using two towels- one for hair, one for body.
Or 1 bath sheet and another towel for hair! 🤭🤗
Since I wash the clothes I use two towels. I love to wrap my hair up with one.

SUGGESTION- A wood shelf with hooks to match the bench… dual purpose… the shelf holds the hooks for towels and the top for decor!
Also with a shelf your wet towels won't be touching the wall.
Perfect, now that it's raised, it looks so much better.

That silver hook holds bathrobes that have a loop for hanging. Some towels also are made with loops.
I think the extra-long drapey shower curtain looks good and the height of the curtain is perfect now!

What about putting a wooden board across the wall and put the hooks on it to hang your towels. They kinda look like ghosts floating on the wall - ha! Another touch of wood for the room.
I thought the same thing so towels would be away from the wall and a shelf above to hold clean towels or supplies.
It looks so much better yeah!!! What might be pretty is a piece of antique stained glass framed to hang in the window!!

How about a large hanging plant (fern) behind your toilet. I would have it high enough that you do not hit your head. The organic shape would work well to help hide the strange wall.

I realize they may not be as aesthetically pleasing but I’ve found plastic shower curtain rings don’t scrape up the finish on my metal shower rod as badly as the metal hooks do.

keep a watch on the wall behind damp towels for mold, there is a reason towel bars hold them away from the wall.
The curtain and the tub are so beautiful. Magazine worthy.
Lovely bathroom. The two scones should be at the mid-point of the mirror. For security, the mirror should be a wire with L-shaped corner brace clips (spray painted gold, of course) on the bottom for support. With moisture, the harsh weather in Nova Scotia, and the possible movement of that wall, the glue may harden and crack over time, and your mirror may end up detaching from the wall on to your vanity.
The vanity would look really nice with gold knobs. 😊

Once again gorgeous work and design. You inspire. A thought, to use polymer to shape n make spacer for tub feet , glue n paint. Love it all. I'm not a gold person but it's so gorgeous you might be swaing me to gold.❤
Looks gorgeous just use caulking on gap on legs and paint caulking gold...easy peasy
Those towel hooks look like you could put a narrow plank across them and create a small shelf but still have enough room to use both hooks. Since the feet are getting lost color wise, you may consider painting the ball with the same marine paint, might give it more depth and dimension tonality speaking

I think real nice gold furniture round cable glued in that space would hide that space and look great. I will check if I have some in my sewing room and if you think you would love some, let me know and send me your address…. I could send you just the length you would need to fill in that space.

I have the same plant Elisha; actually four plants because the mother plant is so healthy I have to keep pruning it and starting new plants. Your window is not a good place because it is too cold in winter and too hot in summer. Also they like light but at a distance. My plants are not right at the window but get indirect light. Put it on a plant stand at the foot of your tub away from direct sunlight
The bathroom is looking so good. I can't wait to see it all finished. The shower curtain looks so much better now that it's raised above the window frame. The only thing that looks sort of concerning if that it looks like the tub is sloped the wrong way and won't drain properly.

Seriously, please turn the tub around so you're facing the beautiful vanity and larger area of the room. Just seems it would be nicer than facing a towel wall & toilet.
I like the hooks, the other 2, maybe install near the vanity for hand towels. Loving the colors.
