      @JamesGamesAndMore It's about the same as I remember on the 64. I'm playing with my joycons though and they're terrible when it comes to aiming the bow or aiming anything fkr the matter lol and it's tricky playing the ocarina within them. But with a n64 controller for the Switch would be a lot better. Other than that, loving it. I'm gonna go for OoT next

    The last time I moved I took the flash drive out of my wii u and I think it had majoras mask aswell as the metroid prime trilogy zelda 1 2 and link to the past.
    Luckily most of the games I have are physical and ocarina and mincraft were still on the console. Fatal frame maiden of the black water was also on the console not the flash drive but that doesn't really matter.

    My profile icon may or may not say what my favorite Zelda game is. But, needless to say, it's Wind Waker. Majora's Mask is trailing close behind in second. It's nice to hear the various options available to play each game of the series. One of the options for Zelda 1, 2 and Link to the Past are the Mini NES and Mini SNES, though these can get pretty expensive since Nintendo didn't seem very enthusiastic in selling very many of them.

    • @JamesGamesAndMore
      @JamesGamesAndMore  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah I thought about including NES/SNES mini but decided against it. Since they’re already on switch, and in great form, I decided to skip it.
      Wind Waker would be near the top for me, I’ve been wanting to replay it but I’ve been holding out for a Switch Port

    I really liked Majoras Mask 3D, despite having played the original on release, but I also have to admit that the 3DS version had some controversial changes.
    The 3DS version completely fucked up all boss battles, they were much better in the og and they ruined the Zora swimming. Then there are some changes in lighting and colour, but they never bothered me as much as it did others.
    What redeems the 3DS version is that it improved much more than it ruined.
    New fishing holes, c-stick camera, better questlog and and and...

    • @JamesGamesAndMore
      @JamesGamesAndMore  5 месяцев назад +1

      I had no idea that MM3D was viewed poorly by anyone. I always heard that OOT 3D was perfect, so I assumed the same for MM 3D
      Thanks for watching my video!

    • @mrmiesfies3941
      @mrmiesfies3941 5 месяцев назад

      @@JamesGamesAndMore Some hardcore fans really hate those changes, especially everything connected with colour or lighting. The og version had a spookier and more eerie atmosphere. But that is a taste thing, other aspects like the boss battles are real gameplay changes. The bosses now all focus on that weird eye thing and are objectively less fun than before.
      There is a fan patch for MM3D, that makes the remake more like the og, but you need to play it on an emulator or a hacked 3DS.
      I honestly want to hack my 3DS for the longest time (mostly to save all my data) and then re-experience MM3D.
      Its a shame that MM has these flaws, despite having so many cool new improvements. It puts it in weird spot.
      But I would also recommend the 3DS version to newcomers. The few things that are worse are maybe one or two percent of the game. Everything else is wonderful.
      Especially the graphics, they are far better than in the OOT remake.

      I do understand complaining about the Zora swimming and changes in the boss fights. They bother me too, not enough to not play the 3DS version. It is not even worth complaining about for me. The lighting and color changing complains, I do feel are unnecessary. Yes, the dark and dirty vibe fit the game better, but if that was the only change, I would argue the 3DS is the slightly superior version.

  • @quanghuy1242

    If you want to play ALTTP, stick with SNES version, because the resolution of the GBA is so much lower and you sometimes can't see the whole room of the dungeon for analyzing things. And ofc, the sound quality is so much better on the SNES.

    Switch is the best way to play Hyrule Warriors. Wii U and 3DS have paid DLC for characters and maps which is no longer available due to the closure of those eShops. This content is all included in the base game on Switch.

    • @JamesGamesAndMore
      @JamesGamesAndMore  5 месяцев назад +2

      @@JamesGamesAndMore Also, half of the adventure maps (Great Sea, Master Wind Waker, Koholint Island, Grand Travels and Lorule) were never made available on the Wii U in the first place, so even if you have access to a Wii U and all the DLC, you'll never be able to play on those maps.

    I was hoping this video would mention the Zelda 64 recomp which is absolutely the best way to play Majora's mask. Honestly, you recommended what is in my opinion the very worst version. On top of this, emulation can provide an experience much better than what Nintendo has provided in many cases, but for people less tech savvy, the Zelda 64 recomp is still extremely user friendly.

    3DS for Ocarina of Time. IMO Emulator for Majora's Mask, or 3DS for updated version, although the older version is far superior. Idk what version they use on the Switch so I'm not going to recommend it. WW HD/TP HD on Wii U are how I play those. SS HD on Switch. BoTW/ToTK obv on Switch. LoZ NES/AoL/ALTTP I use NES/SNES Classics but obv those are hard to find you can get all those with a Switch Subscription. Same with LA/OOA/OOS/MC. PH/ST should be played on a DS/3DS I got ST for Wii U but it sucks on there. They literally had a touchscreen and they chose to show both screens on the TV for some stupid reason. So ya 3DS or DS for that, but you can already play both 3DS and DS games on 3DS so I would recommend that! ALBW obv 3DS. FSA play it on a Gamecube. Triforce Heroes is garbage but if you want to rly play it it's on the 3DS. Four Swords GBA original use an emulator.

      3DS: OoT/MM (Worse Version)/ALBW/PH/ST/TH
      Emulator: Majora's Mask N64 (Good Version w/ Glitches and better mechanics) and Four Swords
      Gamecube: FSA
