- There has been lots of discussion regarding this topic and the opinion seems to be divided among our people. So in this video we present fictional characters sharing their opinions for both postpaid and prepaid meter and their pros and cons.
The ministry of power has issued a notification that,
All consumers, other than agricultural consumers, residing in areas with communication networks, will be supplied with smart meters working in pre-payment mode.
Block level government offices and industrial and commercial consumers will be fitted with smart meters which will run on a prepayment basis by December 2023.

In nagaland it's not about pre paid or post paid, it's corruption. I think power dept. Officers should be check first.

Yes I think 80% of the viewers r kids only . If pre paid system comes ,then the meter reader jobs will also disappear. I feel sad for my brother who is a meter reader , he'll lose his job 😞

At my house we pay 70-80rs a month postpaid. After prepaid lol 1k a month congratulations very convenient thank you. And in Nagaland people staying in rent share one meter box very very convenient paying for neighbours also.
70k ? You've got to be kidding . The highest average for a month is 6-7k . It doesn't go beyond that

Middle class family like us don't use lots of electronic devices like refrigerator, Ac cooler, multiples fans, washing machine, or lots of led bulbs...
we just have some bulbs, some metre box for charging mobiles and 2-3 fans .. after all we pay the equal light fees 😒 the same fees pay by those who use all electronic devices.......
So I am here eagerly waiting for pre-paid 🤝✊👊

Strongly not recommending prepaid, i have been using for quite sometime.. 2000 recharge lasts for 11-13 days... So for a month i end up paying arnd 4000 vucks when compared to post paid my bill usually be around 1500 per month...

We are using Prepaid but I'll tell you postpaid is far convenient. If you use electronic utensils, motors recharge of 500 won't last even one week. Of course, prepaid have its own pros.

True 100-300rs max for a month Aram se for postpaid. Prepaid 500 doesn't last a month. I feel pity for village areas who only depends on farming 500-1k a month is too high for them. It consumes so fast prepaid . This is call cunning system trying to loot the people through the name of power saving, easy recharge etc etc.

It's good to change to pre-paid. But the pre-paid system is like when we use old phones with recharge card. And when you recharge, the balance we get is too less.

For general information prepaid mode is never convenient and won't be ever since as per my experience of usage, the recharge of 2000 rupees lasts around a month without intense use of water pump and electricity, if you include induction and water pump daily with recharge of 2000 it will last for 5-6 days. Hence its a method to loot poor middle class
