- One of the most important uses of Aadhar card is that it permits the holder to avail of all government subsidies he/she is eligible for. Since the government already has all the necessary data on a particular individual, they need only produce their Aadhaar card in order to avail of the various subsidies or programmes.

Regarding Free charges. UIDAI, a central agency promised to pay salary to aadhaar operators but fail to pay even a pennies. So aadhar operator has the right to charge 200-250 rupees. No complain again. Who will work without getting any money?
Yes it's is true
To my knowledge, the operator are not getting paid from government as their salary. Therefore, if they don't charge enrollment fees from the client how can they work for free? Instead why not the government of the state or centre take up the enrollment agency and employ them with monthly salary.
Since the Aadhaar enrollment has become a necessity and almost mandatory, the government should create a seperate department for Aadhaar so that the employees are paid salary. Otherwise, please don't preach Aadhaar enrolment is free because nobody will willingly sacrifice their services for free. In most of the enrollment centres other than the equipments/machines provided by UIDAI every little things are being maintained by the operators from their own expenses.
#Dreamz Unlimited No human will spend their everyday life enrolling aadhaar for free because time is money. Instead of saying "aadhaar enrollment toh free ase toh" why not you talk or meet aadhaar supervisor/operator why the charges is made??, and how they spend their day enrolling people??
Instead of creating chaos to people without complete knowledge, it would have been better if you had made a video in a way that people understand the IMPORTANCE of AADHAAR.
I hope this very video will not create grudge within people and those people working in Enrollment Centre. And i hope this very video will not hurt those Supervisor/Operator.😊👍
The government says Adhaar enrollment is free of cost but in reality it cost Rs.200-300 per correction.
So government must put some restriction on private adhaar enrollment centre first.

If ADHAAR enrollment is free then why Rs 30 is charged for the enrollment form and Rs 300 after collecting the biometrics at a particular enrollment centre. I hope the Commissioners office sees this or maybe you could appraise the authorities about it.

Adhar center is very less, I took my bro for three days stand in que whole day , the moment we reach its time to closed, the next day we went adhar machine not working, the next week day incomplete document , the next day we went n done but biometric 2 times in different years it was rejected,,,,! I appeal for more adhar centers....they way it execute the system is a mess......! Piss off

There're many places where the operators charge some amount for the enrollment and the people at village cannot afford to give the required amount. That is why the number of enrolled is less in Nagaland starting from my own village. For which villagers are abstained from many central scheme to be claimed.
So what can be the possible solution for this issue.

Until and unless the government is paying salary/ monthly remuneration to the operators and supervisors, your office notification on Aadhaar enrollment dated 1st February, 2022 should be revoked immediately.
Nobody in this era will be so happy to waste their time freely capturing Aadhaar. Moreover, in many of the Enrollment Agencies the government never provides even the basic needs and the operators and supervisors are left alone to fend for themselves.

In my place just this month they took more than Rs 350 charge for making Aadhar 💔😭😭😭 I wish I have known this information before that making new aadhar or renewing is for free.
In my place toh they charge $200 plus but even here in kohima aadhar enrollment centre they charge $100 for correction (2 days back).

The DU never fail to educate us with humour. Guess they should be given oppertunity to perform in each district of the state to educate that very district what is lacking and let the very people realise who is responsible. It's not the government that is always responsible for what is lacking but sometimes it's due to us as an individual we fail to be or do good on our parts.

I think most of the genuine population of our state have enrolled for Aadhaar. Most of the remaining 40% population not enrolled might be bogus population.

Yes actually it's free to apply for the aadhaar card but in my district and neighborhood district they used to charge ₹300 and to download ₹50😫 i had applied 6 times all rejected and wasted more than ₹2000😩 bullshit business state!

I have applied 6 times for my aadhar but its getting rejected every time idk y ....And also they are charging 500 rupees for adhar everywhere.
Call aadhaar helpline 1947 .. tell your rejected aadhaar enrollment number they'll resolve..
Bro dats means ur aadhaar has already generated from the previous enroll (u must b enrolled in 2011 or 2012 )so don't go for new enrolment .. U call 1947 helpline and follow the instruction ... Bdw in which district r u from...

Is free of cost in the video but when we go to the department they charge us that's the reason why Nagaland has only 60% enrollment and sometimes even after paying our forms for enrollment gets rejected.
When I first apply for adhaar I was charged 400 rupees which was got rejected and for the second time I was charged 200 rupees in total I have spent 600 rupees in adhaar card 😂😂 free?? From when??

In DMP nr nagarjan police point they use to charge frm ₹60-400 plus ₹50 for lamination....plus so ignorant to us ....customers ...tey don't even ans the smallest quiries.. like toz of the SBI employees 😡
