Im thinking of purchasing the kiwi ears orchestra lite but has no mic, so what can I buy that isn't that expensive but still has good quality for a mic? I care more for how I listen to sound in game than how I sound like when I speak on discord. im not looking for perfect quality mic but you know at least one that gets the job done to communicate with teammates and isn't that crappy mic that pics up every neighbors barking dog that's far away lol
If u want the cheapest but perfect sound is just to buy a lav mic like ulamzi arimic ($10) and put that mic infront of ur mouth by clipping it on a covid mask (the mask will act as a perfect wind / breath blocker).

@@iceorangutan why would you want that? The cable over the ear is pretty standard fair for decent IEMs. Helps with retention.. cables that go straight down are usually in cheaper ear buds you’ll find at a department store. Otherwise you’re in the market for wireless.

If you want a V shape on your gaming IEMs, just tune an actual good *cheaper* IEM like the Truthear Hola, Moondrop Chu, Salnotes Zero, Tangzu Waner, if a MIC is needed just go with the Celeste Kinera that has an actual boom MIC and if you want the KZs *REAL BAD* just go with the CCA CRA that is the same sound just cheaper. I would NEVER recommend KZs in general no matter how good they *supposedly* are just because of how much of a scummy company KZ/CCA (they're the same company) is. They go from scandal to scandal relying on people that don't know better to buy their products that they release at BREAKNECK speed.

Typically not, the Final VR3000 (nr.1 in this videos list) do come with a mic but they don't have a detachable cable. If you want a mic get a seprate lapel mic or something like a kinea gramr.

IEMs are great for isolation and being able to swap out cables if your cat chews them is a plus. Big rabbit hole to go down in this category.
