I don't blame them. Season 4 is gonna be a madhouse of content and action, and they simply don't have the size or budget or decent set deadline to carry it out unfortunately. I'm gonna miss them, but MAPPA is the second best choice to continue the legacy of AoT, so I'm happy.
Still gonna miss WIT'S backgrounds and landscapes and skylines (especially their clouds and sunsets, those were gorgeous) but I know Mappa will aslo do Phenomenal work, especially with the Animation.

Came here after hearing about the KyoAni fire/arson incident. Seeing The studio portrayed as a loving mother in this video makes it all the more gut-wrenching.
Thoughts and Prayers going out to those recovering and those who have passed away.
Seeing that character after the news of the incident evokes a horrifying image that it's just...too soon to describe!

KyoAni-chan is a fucking GODDESS and the guy who wounded her wounded the entire community. Millions and Millions of people got great joy and happiness, and she (the studio - the real people who create this art) taught many of us how to feel again, and dragged many of us up out of depression through these incredible stories.. It really is a testament to how beloved the studio is that it's portrayed this way by the brutal internet culture that really doesn't hold back on calling people out. KyoAni is the studio equivalent of Keanu Reeves or the Earth-chan meme. No one can really say anything bad about them.
Seriously tho fuck that guy and I hope he gets the death penalty (It's by hanging in Japan - for multiple murders) - or better yet is branded with the names of everyone he killed or injured DAILY for the rest of his life and locked in solitary confinement with just water, gruel, and a grate to shit through.

Matthew glad somebody else knows that A-1 can be used as an insult!tbh bones could definitely do the dialogue that Toei generates quite well, but I think the small bits of Toei's one piece style are so engraved into our minds hat the shift would be noticeable and weird. It's more of busy work to keep hem alive for DVD and I'd hate to see Bones lose good animators to this project. If Tori started taking future Bones projects and animating Noragami Season 3 fights like they do with dbz, I'd slap the shit out them 😂!
