SEGASister Everything in Shoujo Tsubaki. SERIOUSLY THOUGH DO NOT WATCH SHOUJO TSUBAKI. I haven't watched it, but my cousin warned me that it's full on gross. This is what she told me so far: Shoujo Tsubaki was a Eroguro Manga that was in the 80's, and had a movie, and last year, they made a Live Action version. Basically, a girl's mother dies, and she's sold to a Freakshow, and is abused sexually and physically by the members of the Circus. There's a lot of animals dying, and a lot of gore and sexual abuse. Ugh, just typing about it makes my stomach churn... Watch the movie at your own risk, guys...
Well the whole movie was pretty much the fault of the fans who threatened the creator to make a HAPPY ending since they were dissatisfied with how the story turned out. Fans threatened and vandalized to get their point across. And the movie was, as how Robyn put it in the other top 10 list she made, "One giant middle finger back to the fans."

Just felt like sharing something. Saw the FMA scene when I was 6, my parents found me crying downstairs. I had stayed up way past my bedtime to watch adult swims Wednesday anime block. I was at an anime convention where the show#1 is from was being shown. I walked into the room just in time for that specific scene. Looked at the schedule and made a note to never watch the rest of the series ever. Even worse if it's some BLAM for the series.

I think that the torture/ tongue cutting scene from Corpse Party and ALL OF BOKU NO F*CKING PICO will suffice as some of the most disturbing scenes in anime!

When the one little girl spirit showed the person who wanted to do the Sachiko game showed her her past, I actually muted RUclips because it was so disgusting. Deadman Wonderland made me question everything. I was watching it at the same time going to school. And I could not for the life of me look at that and then look at my teacher in the eye and say I'm all right.
I wasn't at all phased by the Cartman chili thing, but the lasagna? Hell no. I can make a mean chili, but I was straight up freaked out when the lasagna was served 'Sweeney Todd style'. At least Shimoneta didn't ruin cookies for me.
And for me, the most disturbing anime moment has to be from Psycho-Pass, season 2, episode 9. We see a five-year-old stomping on puppies and his mother congratulating him for it. I still can't think about that scene for too long...

FMA Brotherhood was never afraid to tackle dark subject matter and a certain amount of violence, but the Nina and Alexander chimera scenes were the most disturbing, and tragic, moments in the series for me. Also, that scene from SAO was the exact moment I dropped the entire series.
I would argue the KLK molestation scenes are more disturbing than the FMA Chimera scene. While the chimera stuff is certainly dark and horrible and very iconic, the Ragyo scenes take the idea of parental abuse to another level that makes my skin crawl every time. Additionally, we get to see the reactions of her victims, with Satsuki it is pure rage and with Ryuko its a cross between self-loathing, rage and the most fucked up kind of Stockholm syndrome. The saddest moment in that show is when Ragyo forces Junketsu onto Ryuko and we see what Ryuko has wanted more than anything is to have a loving mother and instead to quote Arkada "She is the kind of evil witch that makes Shaou Tucker look like the greatest dad ever."
Honestly I feel the whole FMA Chimaera scene is tame these days compared to a lot of other fucked up shit we have now. It was horrific and sad, don't get me wrong, but Ragyo flat out molesting her daughter is something that actually can happen in real life.
The only problem with that scene was that the hacksaw guy was colored blue like all the other non-important characters, so a guy slowly cutting himself loses it's wtf factor when he looks like he's made out of glass.
While #1 was by far the most horrifying thing I've ever seen in my life and had trouble not throwing up, I think your honorable mentions showed something that I was burned into my memory as a single sentence. "I'm sorry, the little one isn't needed".
EVERYTHING from Shoujo Tsubaki. I felt morally wrong for watching that movie. And thanks for making me look up "Goosh Goosh." That probably was the most disturbing because the victim had blood pouring out of many of his facial orifices suggesting that his insides not only were mutilated, but pushed up enough to escape through the opposite side of his injury. It was a guy right?
As a person who accidentally saw the "Gush Gush" scene almost 10yrs ago on youtube, it's makes me still cringe like crazy just hearing that phrase. I rather watch "Boku no Pico" 30 TIMES than ever have to watch that scene again. Thank you Robyn, I almost blocked that moment from my memory. But the moment you not only mentioned the scene but let us hear a bit of that scene while you and Phantomstrider watch it (were there no earphones near you at that time?) I will now have to spend the next few days strictly watching something sweet and innocent just to repress back those memories.

Doga Kama Kitty Genovese was raped and murdered despite the presence of bystanders. The media erroneously reported the incident as 38 people seeing the whole thing and doing nothing. From what I’ve read, nobody actually saw the whole thing, and bystanders who heard part of it thought that it was a typical argument between couples or people leaving the bar.
Besides Ash/angela's reveal in Black Butler In Book of Circus, just when the little girl was on drugs and seeing stuff, in reality you see the circus members brutally murdering the cops

One of the most disturbing anime moments I've ever seen is the scene in THE END OF EVANGELION where the Mass Produced Evangelion Units are sexually moaning while thrusting their lances of longienous into their cores! EofE is among my top 5 all-time favorite movies, but man does that one moment always make me go, "sexually moaning robots is one of the most disturbing things I'll ever see!"

I was honestly placing my bets on Genocyber. The whole movie series has it's fair share of disturbing imagery, but by far the worst happens at the start of episode 2, where we see a bunch of KIDS getting obliterated by a high caliber gatling gun, brains and pieces flying everywhere in VERY high detail. Kinda sad it didn't even show up in honorable mentions.

A lot of people tend to name the Nina and Alexander Chimera moment, But to me the moment from the show that really freaked me out was when Edward confronted Berry the butcher from the original. Does ANYONE Remember Berry the BUTCHER?
@Genocide Midori First of all love the name. Secondly in the original FMA series a lot of thing where fleshed out and passed more and changed in terms of certain characters and story line. People where given more screen time and developed a stronger bon etc. With Berry their was more time given to the characters murderous ways seeing his trade mark method and hearing a little bit about his wife and all of this while he was still alive. To top it off we also see (in my opinion) Edward Elric be terrified for the first time. It may be jarring seeing the first series because a lot of it is done differently especially how it all comes to a close but trust me when I say it is worth the sit through. A high recommendation from me.

Two scenes from Parasyte made me cringe tbh. The part when Migi tried to take over Shinichi's brain, and the first time we saw an actual "human" parasite. I had nightmares from that shit.
I agree, but one scene I found more cringing was when Shinichi ran up the stairs of the school only to find a bunch of dead people cut down by Shimada. Even he couldn't help but scream in terror.
The one scene where Tachikawa Yuko threw that alcohol liquid on Hideo Shimada and it burned his parasite face disturbed the hell outta me, especially the noises he was making.... Just.... Yikes....

Nice to see someone mention Speed Grapher, the one scene with Ginza and Saiga in Episode 11 made me more fearful towards women for awhile. And Ginza is just the worst! (And a bigger THOT than Camilla, Tharja, and Faye from Fire Emblem could ever be)

I think the reason SG isn't all that popular is because it isn't set in a high school or Isekai, most of the cast are cynical adults instead of happy go lucky high schoolers and teens, animation quality not being up to par for a 2005 anime (especially since it's a production between GONZO and a Toei Phillipine Team), not having many popular seiyuus in it's Japanese cast, and even though the dub did had VAs like Chris Sabat and Monica Rial, most anime fans like their subs and DBZ overshadows their work here. And while it is full of lewd imagery and themes, it's not meant to be fappable, and yet people get the wrong idea that this show is a Ecchi/Hentai.
Oh and our MC get boners from photography, blowing things up with camera which some people see as silly, and may or may not had developed feelings for the girl he had sworn to protect. And Suitengu's true intentions aren't revealed til late in the show.

Shoujo Tsubaki was a Eroguro Manga that was in the 80's, and had a movie, and last year, they made a Live Action version. Basically, a girl's mother dies, and she's sold to a Freakshow, and is abused sexually and physically by the members of the Circus. There's a lot of animals dying, and a lot of gore and sexual abuse.
Ugh, just typing about it makes my stomach churn... Watch the movie at your own risk, guys...

Well the whole movie was pretty much the fault of the fans who threatened the creator to make a HAPPY ending since they were dissatisfied with how the story turned out. Fans threatened and vandalized to get their point across. And the movie was, as how Robyn put it in the other top 10 list she made, "One giant middle finger back to the fans."
The killing a puppy moment from Elfen Lied should've been on the actual list. Its freakin' messed up that they would do that to get a reaction out of someone! That doggy did nothing wrong other than look cute. :'(

Just felt like sharing something. Saw the FMA scene when I was 6, my parents found me crying downstairs. I had stayed up way past my bedtime to watch adult swims Wednesday anime block. I was like a foot away from the tv with these big ass headphones in my Cinderella nightgown trying to explain why I was so upset. Mom actually handled this pretty well, offered to tape the block for me so we could watch together the next day. None of the shows I watched were really her kind of show but she still sat threw two hours of anime every Thursday night.

When the one little girl spirit showed the person who wanted to do the Sachiko game showed her her past, I actually muted RUclips because it was so disgusting. FMA Brotherhood was never afraid to tackle dark subject matter and a certain amount of violence, but the Nina and Alexander chimera scenes were the most disturbing, and tragic, moments in the series for me. Also, that scene from SAO was the exact moment I dropped the entire series.
I would argue the KLK molestation scenes are more disturbing than the FMA Chimera scene. While the chimera stuff is certainly dark and horrible and very iconic, the Ragyo scenes take the idea of parental abuse to another level that makes my skin crawl every time. Additionally, we get to see the reactions of her victims, with Satsuki it is pure rage and with Ryuko its a cross between self-loathing, rage and the most fucked up kind of Stockholm syndrome. The saddest moment in that show is when Ragyo forces Junketsu onto Ryuko and we see what Ryuko has wanted more than anything is to have a loving mother and instead to quote Arkada "She is the kind of evil witch that makes Shaou Tucker look like the greatest dad ever."
Honestly I feel the whole FMA Chimaera scene is tame these days compared to a lot of other fucked up shit we have now. It was horrific and sad, don't get me wrong, but Ragyo flat out molesting her daughter is something that actually can happen in real life.

As a person who accidentally saw the "Gush Gush" scene almost 10yrs ago on youtube, it's makes me still cringe like crazy just hearing that phrase. Genny Faison honestly the scene did not bother me because 1 I'm a big fan of the hetalia 2P universe and there some headcannons for 2P italy and 2P england that are pretty much the same as the lasagna scene 2 sebastian kind of did the something in black butler on the 1st episode with lemon pie and 3 sweeny todd is one of my all time favorite movies that i have been watching fear factor sense i was like 6 years old

One of the most disturbing anime moments I've ever seen is the scene in THE END OF EVANGELION where the Mass Produced Evangelion Units are sexually moaning while thrusting their lances of longienous into their cores! EofE is among my top 5 all-time favorite movies, but man does that one moment always make me go, "sexually moaning robots is one of the most disturbing things I'll ever see!"

I was honestly placing my bets on Genocyber. The whole movie series has it's fair share of disturbing imagery, but by far the worst happens at the start of episode 2, where we see a bunch of KIDS getting obliterated by a high caliber gatling gun, brains and pieces flying everywhere in VERY high detail. Kinda sad it didn't even show up in honorable mentions.
I learned about that series from a gory anime video. Isn't there a scene in which a guy wakes up to find his guts exposed? ~shudders~ Some people are warped.

A lot of people tend to name the Nina and Alexander Chimera moment, But to me the moment from the show that really freaked me out was when Edward confronted Berry the butcher from the original. Does ANYONE Remember Berry the BUTCHER?

@Genocide Midori First of all love the name. Secondly in the original FMA series a lot of thing where fleshed out and passed more and changed in terms of certain characters and story line. People where given more screen time and developed a stronger bon etc. With Berry their was more time given to the characters murderous ways seeing his trade mark method and hearing a little bit about his wife and all of this while he was still alive. To top it off we also see (in my opinion) Edward Elric be terrified for the first time. It may be jarring seeing the first series because a lot of it is done differently especially how it all comes to a close but trust me when I say it is worth the sit through. A high recommendation from me.

Two scenes from Parasyte made me cringe tbh. The part when Migi tried to take over Shinichi's brain, and the first time we saw an actual "human" parasite. I had nightmares from that shit.
I agree, but one scene I found more cringing was when Shinichi ran up the stairs of the school only to find a bunch of dead people cut down by Shimada. Even he couldn't help but scream in terror.
The one scene where Tachikawa Yuko threw that alcohol liquid on Hideo Shimada and it burned his parasite face disturbed the hell outta me, especially the noises he was making.... Just.... Yikes....

Nice to see someone mention Speed Grapher, the one scene with Ginza and Saiga in Episode 11 made me more fearful towards women for awhile. And Ginza is just the worst! (And a bigger THOT than Camilla, Tharja, and Faye from Fire Emblem could ever be)

I think the reason SG isn't all that popular is because it isn't set in a high school or Isekai, most of the cast are cynical adults instead of happy go lucky high schoolers and teens, animation quality not being up to par for a 2005 anime (especially since it's a production between GONZO and a Toei Phillipine Team), not having many popular seiyuus in it's Japanese cast, and even though the dub did had VAs like Chris Sabat and Monica Rial, most anime fans like their subs and DBZ overshadows their work here. And while it is full of lewd imagery and themes, it's not meant to be fappable, and yet people get the wrong idea that this show is a Ecchi/Hentai.
Oh and our MC get boners from photography, blowing things up with camera which some people see as silly, and may or may not had developed feelings for the girl he had sworn to protect. And Suitengu's true intentions aren't revealed til late in the show.
