- For our latest cabin comparison we flew with Singapore Airlines in all three classes from Barcelona to Milan! Liam got the pick of the seats in business, Nicky flew in economy and special guest Adam flew in premium!

I just kinda miss that you guys do not give a prices of the flight tickets in separate classes so watchers could compare if the differences are worth it. I know they can be really vary depending on many circumstances but that'd be cool anyways

it’s fascinating because in asia almost all proper airlines (eg SG, CX, JL, NA) will serve food and drinks in short flights, Cathay even serves hot meals on HKG - TPE (1h30m), so i don’t understand why european carries dont

Air France and KLM do so. I've done CDG - AMS (45 min) and AMS - BRU (35/40 min) and I always got food and drinks. Haven't tested other non-lowcost airlines inside Europe though.
Air france only has orange juice or water , and a small snack, unlike cathay that does a hot meal

Even for a short flight, I would definitely need at least a snack. On average everyone spends about 3 hours before boarding a plane and then an hour or more on the flight, and then another hour before exiting the airport. In total that's nearly a quarter of a day spent on just an hour-long flight! That doesn't include delays or waiting for luggage! If you tell me that doesn't warrant a snack in between then you're an idiot!
Heck! There isn't a single time I have ever witnessed a passenger declining food in an airplane because "it's not needed", so please sod off will ya!

I know that lounge well. It's the standard AENA (Spanish airport authority) lounge. The contrast with the Iberia lounge in Madrid couldn't be greater. BCN deserves better.

As always - another fantastic review and glad Liam got his pluffy pillow :-D Although the business class fold over seat to bed isn't unique - thats how the older model VA Upper Class seats convert.
I recommend you try Swiss Air in Economy/Business/First classes, I heard they are really good and you guys should give 'em a chance!

Economy is nice, but it does lose its appeal after 13 hours! That business class seat looked enormous! So much wider than, eg, the BA club suite seat. Is that actually the case or is it just an optical illusion, I wonder?

I'm sitting here wondering if given covid requirements how MXP-BCN could be a round trip quick turn flight on the same plane to try it both ways? US passport holder here but if I get to Italy I'd consider trying this out as a round trip for the 5th freedom route.

In 1977 we had a fabulous afternoon tea tray table full service on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore

Is Barcelona Airport always this busy? Last time I was there, it was like this and the lines were moving very slowly.
SQ are the best! Love their business class - use 'Book the Cook' - I did and had Lobster Thermidor on my LHR - SIN leg on a long trip to see family in Australia - they knock spots off other airlines - hope the vaccine certs end soon becuase I'd love to go back!

Thanks for the comparisons on a 1 hour flight. I’ll be flying Singapore round trip from Seattle to Singapore to Bangkok on 1 September. Does Singapore airlines just serve Singapore Slings on flights in and out of Singapore and I’ve heard various reviews of Singapore Slings, from good to watered down. What is your evaluation of them, as I’ve never had one and can’t make that comparison.
I enjoyed the Slings, and remember they are free!

Good news for Liam, in the new A380 SIA fixed the problem with the complicated flatbed mechanism, it’s now all electrical like other Business Class seats and you can stay in the seat while going flat. By the way, Adam is such a cute boy☺️

Kinda surprised that SQ didn’t offer hot meal on this flight as their FCO-CPH 5th freedom (ended this March) did
Great video. But just an observation, the flight appeared almost empty so your service would be inevitably promp & more efficien, potentially. Who doesn't prefer not to have anyone sitting next to them, a sqeeze anytime except Business or FC. Given the lack of passengers, both of you in PE & E encroached onto the personal space of what would have the passenger next to you. No passengers, plenty of space equals you experienced a very comfortable flight. Not particularly realistic and if only all flights were like this! I think it would have been good to have mentioned this. Or did I miss that? However this is my first time watching your vids guys & will check out your others. Cheers guys & thanks for the report. PS I usually travel in PE if I can. 👍🥂🙂

Oh what Surprise Singapore Airline are Good …Anybody who is remotely interested or flown them or any other Airline Know that S/A are and have been The Bench mark Airline that All airlines look to and get an idea how good there airline is For over 30 years it’s been like this.
Next time try the food from Singapore to any near by countries with sq I do think u will have a better meal then a croissant😊

Ok I have the dumbest question I’ve been on many planes but longest was 6.5 hrs to Hawaii in economy, so my question is , can you take the pillows and blankets with you? I’ve had blankets before on planes but always assumed they are just reused and repackaged
Im pretty sure they are cheap and just get thrown away.
They do collect them to wash and reuse again. Most of the time, washed blankets are wrapped in a plastic bag, if theyre not, good luck using them.
