I would warm the slide in a toaster oven to 150°F, and chill the bushing in the freezer, both for an hour just so it just slips in with no agro. Keep your videos coming 👍👍👍👍👍
I have a shadow2 blue you guys did including the bushing and wow with the delta point pro it almost makes the thing so accurate you switch to a different pistol so you actually have to try and hit the plates hahaha absolutely love everything you guys did. Thanks
Thanks for posting this, so as far as installing your bushing on a PCR or P01 omega would they need to be modified to install? Or could you hammer it in like you stated w/o having to shave it down (fitment) any indicators or sighs to look for to see if that’s needed?
Even thought the barrel diameter is smaller it works exactly the same way for compacts. The only models that will give you trouble are the 75B and 75BD. They are a full-size with a compact barrel diameter and usually have some extra length of barrel poking out past the bushing. It can be very difficult to fit the barrel/bushing to make it work in that model. In our experience it is much easier to crown the barrel flush with the end of the bushing.
Is the barrel bushing worth it? Is there an advantage to replacing the new bushing in a new gun or is this just recommended after several thousand rounds through your pistol?
We believe so. We have seen even new in box guns with significant play between bushing and barrel. This isn't really a problem at like 10 feet but when you try to shoot at any sort of distance you will notice your groupings aren't very good. Also our bushing is a lifetime bushing so you don't have to worry about it wearing out.

I did this yesterday, for the first time, and it went just as you showed. Thanks for the help!
Straight to the point. I like y'all videos
We really don't like watching tutorial videos for half an hour just to find the 15 seconds we need, so we decided to cut all that out.

Use a small drill bit on the roll pin cut to make sure the new bushing goes in flat
Can you remove the barrel from the Shadow 2 after the the assembly of the barrel bushing easy for cleaning, …?

How is it a life time bushing? Will the barrel wear out first?
Would you folks make a video on how CGW installs front sights that don't have the roll pin groove? That would be much appreciated! 😄👍
I have added it to the list. I will record it the next time I have some to install.
