Thank you so much for this. I bought the Short Reset Kit and only looked into how hard the instal was after. However after watching your video i felt comfortable enough to give it a shot. I love how much better my P01 feels. Thank you!!!
Any chance we can get a HD version of the installation guide? The quality on this is a tad blurry, especially for small details part like the sear cage assembly.
You are great guys to deal with. Video 50/50 in focus. Need focus and close up details. Some operations were on very bottom edge of video. Guy did excellent job just location of work, close details, and focus.
Your skill and confidence clearly shows. I have a feeling you've done this more than once or twice. 😉 Thank you for the time it took to record and share!
I installed the Pro Package on my CZ97 1 month ago.... If I had this video to guide me, I’d have done a way better job!!! I’ll probably disassemble the pistol and polish everywhere you are showing here...
@@cajungunworks526 You guys are awesome. Seriously thanks for taking the time to put out all these videos. I actually purchased 2 of your Pro Trigger Kits last year for my P-01 and SP-01 but haven’t even attempted to install it yet. I’m too chicken, lol. No worries if you can’t get out this video soon. I’m in no hurry. It would be nice to have a list of polishing tools and supplies just so I could be ready but no biggie. Thanks again!
Just sent my p01 ( my first cz ) in to cgw arrived on Friday. It has red colorfill in the lettering. If you see it tell it I said hi and I miss it. Awesome videos thank you so much!
Maybe buy complete gun from Cajun with the package installed. Cajun does great work. New PCR pro package has excellent trigger (smooth 3lb 10 oz single action), and ate 5 kinds of SD ammo - Buffalo Bore, Underwood, Hornady- without a hitch, as well as both brass and aluminum cased 115gr range ammo. A brand new gun, with zero feed /eject failures is wonderful. They added Dawson tritium sights which were dead on out of the box.
Great video really appreciate you taking the time to produce it. What slave pin do you use to capture the trigger return spring if you don't mind me asking, or does it come with the pro package?
Could really use some help. After installing everything exactly how the video says my decocker moves but does nothing, and the hammer won't connect. I feel like I missed something, but can't seem to figure it. Thanks in advance
I appreciate the videos, but can't really see much detail, especially on assembling the sear cage. For instance, when you say the long leg goes forward, does that mean coming over the top or under the bottom. The view is too wide to see where all the bits are going. Likewise with reseating the decocker and spring, how should it be seated with respect to the sear, as there are two possible configurations. From the video I couldn't even figure out how to insert the decocker. I think I have it right through lots of trial and error. A diagram or two in the instructions would be VERY helpful. After about an hour I thought I had the cage reassembled, but now when I insert it in the frame the slave pin doesn't line up with the frame. The CGW disconnector appears to be putting up quite a fight over the last few millimeters. I'll keep at it, but it's not a job I would choose to do a second time (as opposed to tearing down and reassembling CZ75 pre-Bs...).
Regarding trigger bar tension, did you say the right side of the trigger bar spring, when released from under the trigger bar, should come up flush to the top of the trigger bar? And when put it back under the trigger bar, the left side, when released, should barely protrude past the bottom of the trigger bar? Can it be in reverse... i.e. left side higher? Never gave this much thought. I always thought both sides of the trigger bar spring were supposed to be the same height. Great video.. a lot of nice pearls. Thanks so much!
You summed up the procedure very well in your comment above. Right side- increase tension, left side- decrease tension. Perfect! It has taken our company years to come up with just the right formula, and no, equal tension is not the setting that we have found works best. Thank you for your comments, now get ready to have some awesome resets! Patrick
@@cajungunworks526 Awesome. Thanks for taking the time to reply. On the Cajun Gun Works Tutorial page, which is a wealth of information, I just discovered that this is detailed perfectly. Since CGW took the time to tune this setting for best optimization, I'm curious if they're symmetrical from CZ? Later today, I'm taking my 75s out to check em. Thx!
Do you have a sear cage for a tz75 press series i have a broken extractor/ejector on mine. It has the safety/decocker on the slide . Sorry for posting on here if not allowed.
Great video, Lol I now see some things that I might touch up on my 75 compact . After adding some cajun parts the trigger pull is quite a bit better. But always trying to improve an already great gun .
We haven't ever put a loaded chamber indicator in a slide that didn't come that way but I suppose it wouldn't be too difficult. You would just have to mill the pockets for the screw and the pin. Converting the gun to decocker would be more trouble that it is worth though. It wouldn't be impossible but the safety/decocker mechanism is made into the frame, trigger bar, sear cage, sear, hammer, etc.
I think my cellphone would record a better video than this. Time to upgrade to a new camera, CGW. Panasonic S5 MK IIX is an excellent video capable camera for the money.
Gives you a real appreciation for CGW’s expertise. A joy to interact with on a customer service basis too.

So glad you folks made this video! Can't wait to see a video on a polish job.
Would LOVE to see this in 4K close up.
I was already in the home stretch putting the sear cage back in when I became the flying lifter spring’s latest victim. Just ordered some extras
Has a polishing video been posted yet? Would really appreciate a walk through as a first timer! Thank you
Yes I agree. That would be great. My p01 is a little gritty.

Man you made that look easy. Nice job!!
I've had lots of practice!
Yea im just going to send it to you guys.
Is there another video to watch that can explain this? The quality is not helping me. I cant get past the trigger spring.

When will you guys release the detailed polishing video?
I will add it to the list and try to get it done in the next week.
@@cajungunworks526 🙏 looking forward to it! Thank you!
I haven't forgotten about you. We are a bit shorthanded at the moment and I haven't had enough quiet time in the shop to make a video recently.

See Mcarbo clarity and detail video.

Waiting to send my CZ p-01 to get cajunized
One year later did you do it?

You would be the people to ask, I’ve heard you can convert the CZ to single action only. True?
Only the manual safety models but yes.
@ thanks sir, I’ll be in contact with you.
where did you get your gunsmith rack.....
I can't be the only one eagerly waiting for the polishing video. :/
I can't see any of the sear assembly because of poor focus... I'm stuck now.
Do you have problems with sending bad parts? Or are they usually good to go?

Does the pricing on the pro package installation include the parts or is that the labor cost?
If you are looking at the "In Shop Pro Package" on our website the price includes all parts and labor.

Yep. Having done this 15 times…14 unsuccessfully ….on my blaster, I’d rather cut my toes off with a rusty spoon.
Super blurry cannot see springs and whatnot. Also polishing video would rule. Thanks
Would this be comparable to the manual safety?
Very similar. Not near as hard as the decocker.

This video is somehow extremely thorough yet garbage. Written instructions would make a world of difference.

Once or twice.....
This video is way too fast and you can't see many of the springs because the quality of the video is so poor. Please redo!
