I faced a frustrating experience with Cajun Gun Works' $285 upgrade kit. David directly stated that if I couldn't skillfully use a Dremel to remove approximately .0035" from the 1489-T6 disconnector, I shouldn't be working on my Shadow 2. This directness was unwelcomed. In contrast, Eemann Tech’s $80 Ultimate Disconnector provided a hassle-free, drop-in installation and stellar customer service, a refreshing experience from the earlier disappointment.
It depends on your luck I guess. The two packages that I’ve bought from CGW had hassle free drop in for the disconnector. I’d give up if I had to remove material from the disconnector too.
Eemann tech disconnector never worker well for me. At the end I had decided to trash it and put the original one back. Eemann Tech slide stop with the gas pedal I sold on eBay, I did not like it. I also replaced grips, installed grips from Lok. All in all - this is good gun.
very nice but it would be nice to show the trigger movement with the slide on it, what this sear gives you different from the original one that was removed ? Thanks
One of the beauties of CZ frame comparing to Tanfoglio is that when inserting sear cage - you don't need to put main spring over hammer strut. You can do it after plungers and sear are fully installed. Thus making sear placement 5 second job. Also not sure what you were initially thinking leaving flat SA trigger for DA/SA action but it's still pretty funny :) Otherwise good video!
ipsc4you.com/product/aluminium-flat-trigger-single-action-double-action-for-cz-sp01-shadow2/ It can adjust over travel but can’t adjust pre travel. But you can drill and tap a whole at the right place and put a set screw. You need to be very handy. Also its quality is not super great. It’s aluminum.
Thank you so much. I appreciate that. I was watching your videos just now. Awesome job. Cajun Gun Works it's pretty awesome. I run emman tech on my orange and my shadow 2. Amazing job.
Would have been better to just get a cheaper shadow 2 and to cajun that instead of buying the more expensive shadow model only to change out the internals regardless
If you’re going to get all Cajun parts wouldn’t it be cheaper to start with a regular shadow 2 rather than the orange? Aside from a hand fit slide and bushing you swapped out the main upgrade the orange has
So I have to ask, you bought the two Eemann Tech tools, the slide stop with the gas pedal and Their Ultimate Trigger in Brass so why didn't you just buy their complete spring kit with the longer firing pin and all the other springs even the one for the Sear? Just curious, and they also have great videos to walk you through the installation of all their products.
Ok that makes sense but who's trigger was that, it looked like the Eemann Tech Ultimate trigger in brass that has the two adjusting screws for per-travel & post travel . @@9mmtactical
Oh that’s actually an orange colored trigger that I bought from a website. It’s not a big brand. The color matches with the grip. There was no pre travel adjustment hole and screw. I tapped it myself.
Nice, I am sure it was a lot cheaper than the $104 of the Brass Eemann tech Trigger, the tools you bought are a little pricey but they do make installing the trigger & sear spring much easier. Hey thanks for the info & the Conversation@@9mmtactical
Exactly what I was wondering eemanntech Is way superior to cajun...cajun and M carbo kind of make junk compared to eemantech and cz custom or even hennings group is awesome too. why didn't you just buy the regular TSO then you wouldn't have to do anything to it? You see more and more of these strange videos show up we're guys take a perfectly nice weapon and put cheap little junky parts in them... I guess this is the new norm.
Sorry when I made the video the slide was still with CZ Custom for the red dot milling. So I didn’t have an upper part to demo trigger pull. I didn’t want the hammer to smash on the sear.

Otherwise good video!
Good to know! Thank you!
Thanks for the video! Gave me more confidence to do my own install in the future.
Glad I could help!
excellent video, much better than the others, wish i had this last week when i was struggling
Glad you liked it!
Very good video. I am researching the process before I order the kit.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the video. Next time if you could be more descriptive with parts and process while installing would make it easier
sp01 orange has both ends flared on the trigger pivot pin. All the other cz’s I’ve seen are only flared on the one end.
Great video. If you dont mind me asking where did you purchase that orange trigger?

GREAT VIDEO, THANKS!FYI- There's no audio when you're installing the LOK grips. What material were you applying to the grips & frame?
Oh just some gun oil. Not necessary. Just my OCD :)

Yeah I have a s2 blue and cajunized it too.

Yeah I’m pretty much looking for the hand fit slide from the S2O. Honestly I don’t need an S2O for performance. It’s more for collection.
I have a Shadow 2 Orange. I'll be doing the same installation on mine this week. The reset on the S2O is rather long & needs shortening
@@thedrgunner1137 dose this package shorten the reset ? Thanks
@evanphotography5149 the trigger is adjustable. You can tune it to almost like a 2011 trigger.
@@9mmtactical is this because of the new sear you installed ? Do you adjust the trigger reset from the trigger or the sear screw ? Thanks
Where did you get the sear spring tool and trigger return spring tool. I contacted CGW and they didn't know about the tools.
It’s made by Eemann Tech, not CGW. You can find the tools here - www.dot40.net/product/eemann-tech-sear-spring-installation-tool-for-tanfoglio/
Are you in US?
Yes, USA
@goldtoplp1029 I could sell you mine if you want them.
I keep replying, and it' being deleted
What size Allen key is it for the set screw?
What brand is that orange trigger that you put in? Thanks. If you can provide the sku # also.

@@9mmtactical Thank you very much!
I’m curious where did you get the spring tools ??
Made by Eemann Tech. Purchased from dot40.net.
@@9mmtactical How was there shipping, I saw the price for FedEx and almost had a stroke, How did you ship yours?? Dumb questions I know just curious.
@thewrightstuff6174 it was free shipping for me. I think I just selected whatever was the cheapest. Where are you at?

If i add the cgw pro kit to my shadow 2 is there any thing else i can do to enhance my shadow 2?
If Orange version then no. If regular blue version you can consider adding a barrel bushing.
What material is the orange trigger shoe made of? Who makes it?
Aluminum. Not as solid as CGW’s one. I bought it from ipsc4you. Seems to be made by “GM Parts”?
Nevermind- you're changing it. I was wondering why you would ditch the adjustable trigger....

I didn’t buy the trigger from Eemann. I had the CGW pro package.

No trigger pull demo at the end?

Do you have an IG or email I can reach you at for questions? Great video!
Yeah my IG is 9mmtac.
no part 2??
Yeah no part 2 actually. The only thing from the pro package for the upper is the firing pin so there's no much to talk about.
orange still need cajun short reach sear kit? and hammer?
Technically no. It all depends on whether you want the titanium stuff and lighter trigger pull, etc.
