What a GREAT FIND! Open all year - Three Rivers Camping

- Join us this weekend where we visited three rivers camping near the beautiful village of Geldeston on the norfolk/suffolk border , and what a find this was!
Open all year and perfectly located , we were greeted by the friendly owners and directed to our pitch where we then had a look at the rest of the site and pitches then on to a local walk passing through the village and its pub 'the wherry inn' , just 5 mins walk from the site , then on to a lovely marshy wooded area and boat yard for our walk ... So with plenty to do , clean facilities and huge pitches , this place is well worth a visit and we will definitely be returning!

What a great site I've literally watched the video then straight away booked for 10 nights next month Kirsty did very well

We stay out this time of the year in our moho think it's as good as summer in its own way, food from the farm shop looked fantastic keep them coming. 🍔🥗

What a site, that has got to be wildlife rich!
full of wildlife there mik we heard so many bird species , especially over the marshy bit , a really nice place

Lovely site,we popped in for a nose when we where staying over the river at the Marina CL site. Definitely more basic there but very picturesque.
Great walk on that side all the way to Beccles as well. Geldestone Wherry pub is also worth a visit 🍺🍺
we saw signs for that marina CL in the boat yard but was empty , possibly not all year site , yes we did want to go in that wherry inn pub but we had the dogs i was looking forward to some of the ales
Glad you like our area , we moved into KC over 36 years ago and never wanted to move away . Next time you come down through Beck Row past RAF Mildenhall Air Base and along the A11 i'll show you the short cut to our B & B ( Thats Beccles &. Bungay ) . You must visit Southwold , We have friends who live in Beck Row and visit them often . Enjoy your travels , we are just giving up our touring caravan as age has crept up on us but we have really loved the times we have had in them . stay safe .
we’ve yet to visit southwold but hope to this summer apparantly they have motorhome parking now ! looks like such a lovely place , yes beck row is literally half a mile from us its where the van is kept in storage

Super video you two , interesting shots of inside the van while travelling. The site looks brilliant, it seems to cater for all sorts of camping and sports , thanks for the tour of the site. Those burgers looked pretty good I must say , I gather Kirsty isn’t keen on olives😂🤣,never mind she can have fish and chips next trip 👍🤣😂 Thank you both for a really good video 🚐👍

I see you have found Maisebrooke Farm and their fantastic burgers - sausage rolls - local beers etc etc etc, David & Jo work very hard to supply the best . And you have reminded me that we haven't had their burgers for a few weeks so of there tomorrow and get some .
im jealous! i really loved those burgers , we are over an hour away or we’d be getting our meat from there regularly , friendly staff too , makes all the difference, thanks for watching the video

Got to love farm shops that all looked beautiful mmm, good to see you both out enjoying the van in winter (not affraid of a bit of dirt) i love winter camping no crowds and lots of space well done guys take care xx
yeah we do try and visit farm shops if theres any near where we are , cant beat winter camping (if its not raining!)

Hi Mike and Kirsty, you do find such lovely sites, that shower like you say was 5 star. Loved the walk by the river. Ah the pups sitting together in the drivers seat. Hope you enjoyed your burgers they looked good. I’m going to write this one in my book, our van delayed again might be April now. It’s a good job we haven’t booked any sites x

We went up to wells, just over night we looked at three rivers, but worried about soft ground, you definitely took that away, booking early March just 25 minutes away from home thanks guys
i think only the hard standing pitches are available this time of year, lovely site 😁
Great video again. We had the same problem with the smoke alarm in our Vantage Sol going off when using the frying pan. We were in France last summer so all the windows were open. Like you, we took the battery out when cooking

Hi ya Mike and Kirsty.
Great vlog.
We know that place well, we used to stay just over the river to you. Did it for about 3 years on the trot. It's a cl caller Rowan craft. However last year we had a bit of a barney with them, they allowed about 15 people on site to have a picnic by our vans, 11 kids with them all trying to look in the van. We have relatives there but we won't be back.
On a happier subject, just down the road where you were is the Wherry inn pub, I tell you bud fish and chips to die for, brilliant staff old world pub.
Will say though Three rivers is very noisy in the summer, lots of kids enjoying themselves. That's a good thing gets them away from their phones.

hi pete / sue no probs for the long comment its nice to read , yes i can imagine it does get busy there in the summer , we saw the sign for rowan croft but didn’t see any vans unless its not all year , we walked past the wherry inn but didnt go in ( dogs ) , but i would have liked to have gone in there and sampled the ales at least , hope you are both well and thanks again for watching the video

no road noise that we heard , its quite a long driveway into the site from the main road , which isn’t a busy road anyway , it was very peaceful, thanks for watching the video

thanks yes unfortunately due to only having every other weekend off im limited with the amount of video’s i can do , i’m lucky to get 3 a month out , if that! so i tend to spend more time editing / creating and concentrating more on the ones i do have , and yes that’s multiple cameras i use for maximum effect , others have questioned why i do that but its because i enjoy it

Looks a good site and not too far as we live in Suffolk. Could you walk to the nearest Town / village?
yes the walk took 5 mins theres a nice little village pub there
And in the next village Kirby Cane/Ellingham is the best Italian restaurant " The Olive Tree " open wed/thurs/fri/sat . All the menu is prepared on the premises by the owner . So up the hill turn left and down to Kirby Cane for the best Italian food . Ask the locals --- Oh I am a local .
