You can also use rebel spotting to see the enemys in the first half of the base and use distractions to sneak on the left side of the guy at the front gate, run and dive behind the 4x4 you got spotted near first off and make your way into the building going left an up the small hill path, a little sprinting and diving later, maybe waiting for patrols and your in. You might need silent running as well, I had it. Took me about 10 sneaks 2 defends and one escort to win this one on teir 1. It's hard. go go mortars and reinforcements, in single leave guys and "rally up" during fight to spawn on you, if you "go here" they will die on the way in. Always go full loud when shit goes down lol.

If you’re struggling a lot you could always fly a chopper high up and kind of a ways away from the base and just parachute onto the roof. I was trying to help my friend do it cause I had beat it before but after a while we couldn’t so we just did that

can't get detected, kill, use drone, no checkpoint, but then get automaticaly detected, has to kill the entire base and a dozen of reinforcements, infinitely spawning choppers, and all this while the "legend" sam fisher slowly types in the computer and then walk chouched carfuly while my entire squad is getting blasted, exploded and destroied. What a well designed mission

When Sam mentions the "guy with a bandana", that's a direct reference to Metal Gear, and how each iteration of Big Boss/Snake wore a bandana and was a master of stealth. (The franchise died back when Kojima left Konami)

I think everyone is forgetting that Sam is old. Well....older. He was supposed to be older & experienced in the first game, that was 16 years ago. Even if he is pushing 60 he still gets the job done, I've seen people in their 30s with gray hair, not too weird for a 50+ yr old guy to have it too.

The reason he didn´t do Blacklist, according to the developers, is that they wanted to implement a full body capture + voice, just like in TLoU, and wanted a person to do both, leaving aside a voice over, and Michael Ironside was not gonna be able to physically perform as Sam. But I still think that he would have done a fantastic job doing a voice over for that game. Ubisoft listened to our critics and I hope they deliver a new Splinter Cell with his voice. Man, I love this franchise

I know this might be a bit late, but the entirety of Wildlands is littered with references to Skell Tech. There’s multiple kingslayer files talking about it and I’ve also found a powerpoint about a Skell Tech drone in a Unidad base.

I started playing Wildlands about a year ago. I am working on this mission now. I play solo. its been one of the most difficult missions Ive played in any video game. I am at the point you are talking about now. I just cant escape the base with out getting killed. Im not giving up though.

@@gamerlaval43 I played it co-op, trying to sneak in was awful, snipers could see us from below the floor they were standing on for some reason, it took us so many attempts just to sneak in, and then, the raid... frickin' enemies spawning right in front of us and teleporting, one moment I was ok, the next moment I was getting shot at from the backside, only to find a solid wall they were shooting at me through.
My sniper rifle is good enough to take down choppers with 1 or 2 shots, so the helicopter wasn't a problem, but god damn, everything else was so despicable.

Arosch_ there's a defilade to the right of the ammo box on the hill with trees covering the riverside use that for 360 cover then just take quick shots and get back to cover using your AI buddies for bait they will get shot you can shoot pred other teammates will get the downed ones up. I used the HTI with the red dot. Also you can call in rebel support but it shouldn't be necessary

I remember spending like 3 hours perfecting a mission on Metal Gear Solid 5 to be killed or failing then getting sent back to the beginning of the mission. The good old days.
Just for anyone struggling with this for the first phase I parachuted into the base onto the building he is in. Then for the second phase I called in rebel support diversion, hired guns, and spotting made it easier. Third phase I just drove had no trouble. Last resort put the game in to arcade mode.
I know this was forever ago, and I really respect that you managed to do this the hard way.
You can use flash bangs to basically blind the guards then sprint to the objective before they wear off. According to the game you never get truly “detected”

It doesn't make sense why we can't stealth kill everyone to get to him I've gotten to the second stage twice but died before extracting it pissed me off royally that there's no checkpoints and that you can't kill anyone until you get to Fisher

For anyone struggling with this mission now, it helps to set off a flare or two in the bass in areas a bit away from the building with fisher. They’ll go gather on those and make some room for you to move

loganhunterMusic no problem! Remember to take your HTI BDC and add a grenade launcher to your AR when you do it. Destroying the generator when things get loud is also very helpful

In the first half he has the tier one activated(the lvl besides his name) and after they die a few times you can see it isn't there anymore

paulmihailaandres he was on tier level 38, so he was forced to play on a specific difficulty. At level 35 you have play on extreme difficulty, and can of switch

I got to the point where I got so tired of getting caught and having to start all over agian. So to solve my issue I decided to just skydived on top of the building Sam is in. But hey it works.
I did this mission on my own in extreme difficulty. Took me at least 10 tries... seriously hard for such a short mission. Still, all worth it for the real Sam (Michael Ironside).
You can take out the generator and not fail the mission. You can sneak in through the front if you use a lure to move the guard away. For me defending and escaping was a lot harder than sneaking in.
I just found an absolutely BEAUTIFUL way in!
You go through the main entrance via the sides like you did, then go left, like you did, then just go straight forward to the building but MAKE SURE YOU BLOODY LYE DOWN!
Keep it slow, use spots and call outs, one person at a time and you’re golden!

This mission is the very definition of frustration. Been at it for over a week now, can't kill anyone going in but it turns into a firing range trying to get out! Farthest I've ever got was to a truck right outside escorting Sam then someone yells "Grenade!" It explodes blowing me up as I sat down all my guys were down and no one could revive me. I wanted to throw the controller out the window. Still a great game though, but this...

On Extreme this mission is such bullshit. I kind of hope Ubisoft tones down the accuracy of the AI because they NEVER miss. Not even the assholes with the dual SMGs. Sneaking in is easy. I did it by just jumping off a helicopter and landing on the top platform...staying alive after is the hard part.
Extreme difficulty in this game ever since they included Tier 1 mode in this game has been utter bullshit. I think someone posted on a forum that the in-game accuracy for AI on extreme difficulty in the game's coding is listed at 98%. That's absolutely insane and extremely unrealistic. I prefer Advanced a lot more because it feels more authentic to me than Extreme.
Yeah clearly not balanced for that game mode. I'm at Tier 15 right now and every time I play I think about just turning it off because going loud is a huge no no.

I tried this on the 2nd hardest one.. I snuck in OK, but as soon as the shooting started I had to hold against 3 choppers, 10 armored cars and 50 troops. How come mine was much harder than this one, supposedly on the hardest difficulty?
Idk how this ran for everyone else...but this was one of the hardest missions in any game I've ever played. I could not survive after finding Sam. Took me fuckin forever

Ubisoft must make another Splinter Cell
One easier way i found to get in for this mission was by parachuting in directly to the building, however it is difficult to hit the mark and it took me a few tries to get it pretty good, but it allows you to skip pretty much all the guys and go straight there.
This mission was tough, entering the camp through parachutes was the best option for me.

I've already played this 7 times solo already. Found a good path to take when trying to get to Sam. It's actually easy as hell. No matter the difficulty.

There's a field across the train track from the base. use your binoculars to highlight the power generator and once located, take it out with a sniper. Once that task is done, you'll be able to use your drone freely and infiltrate a bit easier, rather than roam all the way to the end of the base.

Shut the geny down to collapse the drone jammer, tagged every Unidad using drone, sneak into the building, meet Sam, when the chaos start call the AI back, call Rebels for backup, and that's it, every single time I'll died dude haha

I hate this mission. It's a huge middlefinger to the player.
1) Sneak into a base with 30+ Unidad, but you are not allowed to kill ANYBODY or the mission is failed.
2) Now that you are completely surrounded by enemies you HAVE to go loud freakin' NOW!. Oh yes, on top of that Unidad will be triggered with 4 Stars immediately and come after you with freaking attack helicopters.

Its actually quite easy. Go round the west wall using the bushes to hide from sniper posts. Follow the west wall up to the northern entrance and the is a door to the left of the sniper post. All you have to do from there is crouch round and into the building.

Is this an optional mission? I grew up playing Splinter cell, I am obsessed. Playing Wildlands for the first time, Im prob 1/3 completed the game so far, and I came into this level severely under-leveled and after getting caught 3 straight times when I barely entered through the gates. The restrictions are ridiculous even though im playing on normal. Especially when UNIDAD is involved, it can get chaotic. Watching this makes me not want to do the mission, but I also would love to complete it. If it's optional then ill be less frustrated going in next time.

The worse part of this mission was not being able to skip the cut scene. And then after all the sneaking it seemed pointless to just be a big gunfight

this mission was 100% the hardest mission i have ever done because i did it during the beginning of the game when i had very little skills and my squad was not very good
took me 2 days before I came back to it and I died more often than my team mates so I went back out to get more skills to increase my survivability and then i finished it
one of the most frustrating, but also one of the most fun because you just basically had the hold the fort and fight off waves of unidad soldiers
The mission was fun for me and a friend. We just when they brought these missions in they'd be longer.

Yo drewski the way I got into the base was by jumping out of a helicopter and gliding in. And empty quiver means loss or theft of a nuclear weapon which will probably tie in to the next splinter cell and I hope that they keep the multiplayer thing from blacklist

he's wearing quad tubes and normal characters have magical night vision they somehow turn on with a snap of their fingers. they should have added all the night vision into the game into the first place not as DLC. no operator is gonna run night operations without actual night vision

I usually jump in directly on the roof of the building Sam is in, and then sneak in, plant a bunch of mines and go ham on UNIDAD when they try to push.

Before mission equip an assault rifle with grenade launcher, then a LMG. Don’t worry about equipping suppressors as you won’t fire till after you meet Sam. Start off at the front of the base, then work your way past the small checkpoint and go around the base to the right side, hugging the wall till you see the entrance and disable the drone jammer. Then use Diversion Lures to get past the guard in the doorway. When the fight starts, stay inside or the apaches get you. Once Sam is done, call in a mortar to clear a path and order a car from the rebels.

Me and my mates dropped down from a heli. One sneaks in and fucks the gene, two take a chopper to 1k alt. After the gene is taken out, heli passenger drops down to the fisher hut. The pilot gets out of the chopper, sending it down in the river aand parachutes to tge south of the base and drones the whole place. The gene dude covers the guy at the fisger hut. After that, the guy in south gets a car and picks up everyone. Simple
At least you guys didn’t have to restart a drill every 5 seconds

I did it after numerous tries because enemy choppers didn't spawn and rebels went ham on Unidad.
I just drive Sam home pretty much unmolested.
There are some variables involved.

I like wildlands but i got bored after 2 weeks of game play the division there is more too do and more to your character like builds and upgrades and mods with weapons.
