Kozak in this mission is super annoying, I also love how he gives you shit for not letting him interrogate in Russian, but then later when you're flying the Chopper and Unidad ATC challenges you, Kozak doesn't think to start speaking Russian. You know, in the Helicopter who's pilot is Russian. Could have at least bought them bit more time. Am I the only one who thought they over did Kozak's annoying trait? I get he's meant to be super cocky but it feels overdone to me
It took me 5 6 attempts, so frustrated Everytime I was shot down. At the end the last attemp was so aggressive. Little tip for everyone trying this mission. When under attack accend/descend helli once it say missile approaching do the opposite accend/descend. Also keep turning the helli and keep shooting. Because we're carrying uranium lol. Good luck

Everyone is talking about how cocky Kozak was but everyone is forgetting that this mission takes place years before future soldier that's why they're saying its a prototype in a backpack but in the future soldier, they improve it to be built into the chest rig. As well as calling Kozak young in future he is a full blown member and not that young/inexperienced anymore, hope this clears confusion
John Kozak was nicknamed "The Kid Brother" by some of his teammates according to his dossier hence why he's callsigned "Little Brother" in this game. The reason for that is well.....he's the youngest member of Ghost Recon not to mention he's a great tech guy. There's a lot of references to Future Soldier in this mission And also both Mitchell and Kozak voice actors are the same voice actors from Future Soldier I spent so much time figuring out the lore, what the damn hell am i doing with my life?

Well, enriched uranium doesn't just explode when a normal explosion goes off, but that explosion will SPREAD the very radioactive material everywhere. That's what a dirty bomb is. also, this is technically BEFORE future soldier, so Kozac's suit is a new prototype, not the finished product you see in future soldier.

You get the reactive camo or whatever you just have to equip the future solider outfit and crouch for about 2-3 secs and it will activate like little brothers camo did in the base. Or the future soldier backpack.
You actually didn’t have to engage those unidad choppers when you were coming out of the valley. All you needed to do is either stick very close to the ground and fly towards the landing zone or back up into the valley and waited for the unidad alert to pass and fly all you want. It took me almost a dozen times to finish the stealing chopper part of the mission.
Only one checkpoint, instant failure if spotted, without HUD there is no way how to tell I have locked on the enemy helicopter, helicopters spawning right behind me that basicaly one-shot me on extreme difficulty...I was furious.
11:34 Oh btw, I have once detonated the SAM after boarding the chopper but before taking off and it instantly failed the mission bc "You were detected dumbass!"...
There was another point in advanced warfighter 2 where Michael loses his helmet, it was the mission where you crash your humvee after being attacked by an enemy helicopter and your hud gets all messed up.
Evading the Unidad helicopter was the 2nd most pain in the ass I have done In this game. Beating the predator is the first which I eventually just stopped trying xD
Future Soldier takes place in 2024, only two years after Wildlands takes place, which is pretty cool to me. I think Breakpoint will take place in 2021 so all three games will be pretty close together in terms of time period.

I finished this mission on extreme difficulty, the only part I had difficulty with was the very end with the bomb truck, I had to finish it on arcade because it always gets blown up by SBC vehicles
BTW drewski if you have the future soldier skin (from the ubisoft club) you can use that camouflage too. Also after all the missions you get the camouflage.
whats crazy is that ubisoft is holding challenges with Silent Spade in extreme mode. love to see you tackle that in a couple runs. one challenge only allowed CQC in extreme on that airfield which put your head on a swivel. plus the optical camo is only good if your staying still. move and you will get noticed if in view of enemy.

I was playing with my friend who didn’t finish the game yet and we were doing the second part of this mission but had to restart like 10 times because somehow the Money Truck mission in Barvechos was triggered because it drove through the firefight during the bomb defusal. It was extremely annoying.

I completed this in extreme difficulty. In the heli part you keep flying past the other helicopters and reach the point, it saves lots of time.
And change altitudes constanly to avoid getting shot and also tell your teammates to engage

The lock on system is not new it was just for that helicopter specifically. I learned how to do it with the Unidad helicopter from the supply crates
