You guys need to be consistent. 3:10 you allege that part of the issue with social Justice is that it forces ‘society’ to support the poor, meanwhile you have no problem (per the more recent GQ videos) with laws prohibiting gay rights or abortion, instead of letting it be an individuals choice.
Also, I believe you are intentionally twisting the meaning of social Justice to provide a weak base for your argument. Americas social and economic infrastructure has been broken since its inception. It was never meant to help a variety of groups who live and have lived here, including the group that was dragged here against their will. From the jump there was a drastic imbalance academically, socially, economically and more. So to say ‘the wealthy don’t exploit the poor’ when that’s the very reason we are a wealthy country to begin with, is hurtful. Even if we were just talking present day, a lot of our required institutions and subscriptions have been exposed to, as always, benefit the wealthy at the expense of the poor (insurance companies, big pharma, education).
Between this and Sheas CRT/race videos, it saddens and surprises me to find God fearing people who ascribe to this. As siblings in Christ, let us look beyond ourselves and see what God says and not just how we feel or want to feel. And yes, I’m talking to myself as well. May He direct us accordingly.

    (1) A bit superficial (What does the Bible Say? … Didn’t even quote any parts of it), (2) Reactionary/Marxist framework (assumes that Government = Communism, (3) Anti-American and Anti-Historical (the American constitutional, democratic republic form of government, created for the Common Good of its Peoples, existed WAY before Marx… God gave you a brain. A balanced government at multiple levels, local, State, Federal, kept in check by its different branches, can be a very effective way to implement and protect peoples liberties and promote the Common Good). Historically, the US « experiment » has provided a balanced, « mixed government », moderate, reasonable alternative to both radical feudal/right-wing/imperial systems AND radical communist/socialist failures, with both extremes being antithetical to true liberty.

This isn't an accurate portrayal of this theme in scripture. Jesus challenges systemic injustice - for example driving out the dishonest money changers in the temple (Mt 21), and challenging the Pharisees & Teachers of the Law on what they taught and how they oppressed the poor (Luke 11:37-54, Lk 20:45-47). Notice he doesn't criticise individuals but a group who held power and influence seeking them to alter their practice, and the (human) laws they issued.
Also look at the laws God gave Israel in the Old Testament, and how the laws of that nation instituted systemic care for the poor and marginalised. Consider the year of jubilee where debts are forgiven and bond-servants released (Leviticus 25)....its not very capitalist - but it is the word of God and a requirement in the nation's law. Need I mention other laws around gleaning? Which instituted a system of food aid for the "poor and the foreigner" (Leviticus 19:9-10) which again wasn't a suggestion but a requirement in the law.
As a Christian I recognise it is my duty to influence the laws and systems of my nation to better reflect the will of God (demonstrated in scripture) and I think this includes systemic change which facilitates the care of the poorest at a national level paid for by taxes which are not optional (like gleaning or the year of jubilee were not optional).

Well stated. These "Christians" literally trying to cosign inequality and injustice. I would like ask them a serious question about are they fascist and ok with inequality?

I do not interpret the video as saying that the Christian should not vote or sit as a chairman on board’s that have power to make social changes. Rather that its not solely up to the government to evoke change in the life of the marginalized. It can be done just as well through a church, NGO, or volunteer that stands of for the least of these and should be done regardless of what our government is saying should or should not be done.

@@docpendleton8228 no it's not solely up to the government to invoke change. It is the government is the tunnel we travel through to make change .

1:55 and 3:28 Perhaps you should read James 5 1-5
    Warning to Rich Oppressors
5Come now, you rich people, weep and wail for the miseries that are coming to you. 2Your riches have rotted, and your clothes are moth-eaten. 3Your gold and silver have rusted, and their rust will be evidence against you, and it will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure* for the last days. 4Listen! The wages of the labourers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. 5You have lived on the earth in luxury and in pleasure; you have fattened your hearts on a day of slaughter. see also Matthew 6:24, 1 Timothy 6:10, Acts 4:32-35

This is false. The Bible makes no distinction between personal and corporate charity. Also, there is no such thing as a single Christian view of social justice, there're multiple views.
