@Nelson's Rudolph Thats his point, Goober. Justice is all encompassing and has NO NEED for the qualifier "social." And I don't agree with John on much, but I do on this one, so stop the presumption.

@Nelson's Rudolph What the bleep are you talking about?? Yes, we are talking about Devine justice. Where does MacArthur deny the blood of Christ?? Yes, justice between fellow human beings is social, in that we interact with each other, but social justice has a complete different meaning, most of which is political correctness. If you don't agree/tolerate what is "acceptable", or if you don't want to forcibly redistribute from the haves to the have nots, then one is not "socially just" Jesus taught none of that.

BEN CALVERT so what Ben is day is our Fore Fathers we’re wrong to Organize a revolution against A tyrannical king & government. Jesus was wrong to introduce “ Grace” rather than the law. And sit down and be quiet - and if you do not see things my way and worship a God as I have determined - then you are wrong and you will get your “ just” reward !!!
McArthur was spot on until he started talking about the definition of Social Justice. The more he spoke about armies in the street he sounded like Marx and Stalin. He scared me to death..Because this is the teaching from almost all churches today. Love is the Gospel ! Do not express yourself - No Matt we how UNJUST the law and the society are. Those who know more than you, are more just than you have decided for all time how it should be ( I am not advocating that the Gospel is changeable). Not only do they know better than you, but they are also afraid of you. Your activism might take them down from their lofty place. He is right justice is justice, when it is right..He left that part out.. He also conveniently forgot the scripture that says “ We fight not against flesh and blood..But against kings and rulers..Against kingdoms and principalities and corruption, evil men and wickedness in high places !!! [ sorry, I know the quote is not exact & I did not take the time to get my Bible to find the chapter & verse ]
My point is, if this is not a statement for Social Justice or Justice that is correct, I do not know what is.. God Help Us All !!! If the Lord does not give us some true men of God, that know how to teach the Gospel - which is Jesus Christ and him crucified and that what we must do is love God and love others as we love ourselves - We are doomed !! Sorry about the long dissertation.

These two lessons by John Doerr on what it means to truly be born again are very liberating! The Trueth of the real Jesus Christ’s gospel of grace toward the sinner has been hidden by Rome’s Jesuits and scholars, who work tirelessly to cast doubt on the Word of God. The devil has deceived the whole world. (Rev 12:9)

      Romans 8:2
“For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Iesus, hath made me free from the law of sinne and death.”
The fundamental problem is the corruption of Gods word.
In this link you can find a lesson on the unbroken testimony of Jesus Christ in the English language which is found in the authorized version of 1611. A much different testimony than the 1769 KJV you see in church pews and bookstores.
The question isn’t “which bible is best?” The question is, “how can I know if the bible I read is infallible?” That’s the question. Have faith in Jesus Christ who is come in the flesh. This is a link to a powerful lesson on it: ruclips.net/video/C9lIWdQ0rc0/видео.html

My response to this question (I'm typing this before I even hear what MacArthur has to say) is why do we want SOCIAL justice? No Christian should want *ANY* Justice that is not God's Justice. God is the only place we should be getting our Morals from, and God is the only dispenser of Justice that we want. Any other "justice" is flawed. Social Justice is a Social Consensus _among people_ and the Bible says "Let God be Truth and everyman a liar".

@Nelson's Rudolph We don't call "White extremists" terrorists because they usually don't fit the definition of the word "terrorist". A mentally ill kid who shoots up a school isn't a terrorist, a Muslim who declares allegiance to ISIS and then blows up a church or a school is a terrorist. To be a terrorist, you're goal has to be to change the political or economic reality in a given place where you've committed violence. So for example, Dylan Roof (South Carolina church shooter) was a terrorist, he hated blacks and wanted to start a race war. The Parkland shooter, on the other hand, was just a basket case who shot up a school. Most of the people you're referring to as "White extremists" are just mentally ill, there is no larger objective involved in their violence, they're just angry, mentally ill savages who commit violent acts for violence sake. To be a terrorist you have to commit acts of violence with a larger sociopolitical goal in mind. Most school shooters, or gang bangers for that matter, don't fit that definition. That's why we don't call school shooters or gang members "terrorists", that word has a specific meaning to refer to someone who's violent action is a result of their desire to impose their ideology on society.

(Rev 12:9)

Social justice is also a concept that some use to describe the movement towards a socially just world. In this context, social justice is based on the concepts of human rights and equality and involves a greater degree of economic egalitarianism through progressive taxation, income redistribution, or even property redistribution. These policies aim to achieve what developmental economists refer to as more equality of opportunity than may currently exist in some societies, and to manufacture equality of outcome in cases where incidental inequalities appear in a procedurally just system.”
The key word in this definition is the word “egalitarianism.” This word, coupled with the phrases “income redistribution,” “property redistribution,” and “equality of outcome,” says a great deal about social justice. Egalitarianism as a political doctrine essentially promotes the idea that all people should have the same (equal) political, social, economic and civil rights. This idea is based on the foundation of inalienable human rights enshrined in such documents as the Declaration of Independence.
However, as an economic doctrine, egalitarianism is the driving force behind socialism and communism. It is economic egalitarianism that seeks to remove the barriers of economic inequality by means of redistribution of wealth. We see this implemented in social welfare programs where progressive tax policies take proportionately more money from wealthy individuals in order to raise the standard of living for people who lack the same means. In other words, the government takes from the rich and gives to the poor.
The problem with this doctrine is twofold: first, there is a mistaken premise in economic egalitarianism that the rich have become wealthy by exploiting the poor. Much of the socialist literature of the past 150 years promotes this premise. This may have been primarily the case back when Karl Marx first wrote his Communist Manifesto, and even today it may be the case some of the time, but certainly not all of the time. Second, socialist programs tend to create more problems than they solve; in other words, they don’t work. Welfare, which uses public tax revenue to supplement the income of the underemployed or unemployed, typically has the effect of recipients becoming dependent on the government handout rather than trying to improve their situation. Every place where socialism/communism has been tried on a national scale, it has failed to remove the class distinctions in society. Instead, all it does is replace the nobility/common man distinction with a working class/political class distinction.
What, then, is the Christian view of social justice? The Bible teaches that God is a God of justice. In fact, “all his ways are justice” (Deuteronomy 32:4). Furthermore, the Bible supports the notion of social justice in which concern and care are shown to the plight of the poor and afflicted (Deuteronomy 10:18; 24:17; 27:19). The Bible often refers to the fatherless, the widow and the sojourner - that is, people who were not able to fend for themselves or had no support system. The nation of Israel was commanded by God to care for society’s less fortunate, and their eventual failure to do so was partly the reason for their judgment and expulsion from the land.
In Jesus’ Olivet Discourse, He mentions caring for the “least of these” (Matthew 25:40), and in James’ epistle he expounds on the nature of “true religion” (James 1:27). So, if by “social justice” we mean that society has a moral obligation to care for those less fortunate, then that is correct. God knows that, due to the fall, there will be widows, fatherless and sojourners in society, and He made provisions in the old and new covenants to care for these outcasts of society. The model of such behavior is Jesus Himself, who reflected God’s sense of justice by bringing the gospel message to even the outcasts of society.
However, the Christian notion of social justice is different from the contemporary, secular notion of social justice. The biblical exhortations to care for the poor are more individual than societal. In other words, each Christian is encouraged to do what he can to help the “least of these.” The basis for such biblical commands is found in the second of the greatest commandments-love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39). Today’s politicized notion of social justice replaces the individual with the government, which, through taxation and other means, redistributes wealth. This policy doesn’t encourage giving out of love, but resentment from those who see their hard-earned wealth being taken away.
Another difference is that the Christian worldview of social justice doesn’t assume the wealthy are the beneficiaries of ill-gotten gain. Wealth is not evil in a Christian worldview, but there is a responsibility and an expectation to be a good steward of one’s wealth (because all wealth comes from God). Today’s social justice operates under the assumption that the wealthy exploit the poor. A third difference is that, under the Christian concept of stewardship, the Christian can give to the charities he/she wants to support. For example, if a Christian has a heart for the unborn, he can support pro-life agencies with his time, talent and treasure. Under the contemporary form of social justice, it is those in power within the government who decide who receives the redistributed wealth. We have no control over what the government does with our tax money, and, more often than not, that money goes to charities we might not deem worthy.
Basically, there is a tension between a God-centered approach to social justice and a man-centered approach to social justice. The man-centered approach sees the government in the role of savior, bringing in a utopia through government policies. The God-centered approach sees Christ as Savior, bringing heaven to earth when He returns. At His return, Christ will restore all things and execute perfect justice. Until then, Christians express God’s love and justice by showing kindness and mercy to those less fortunate.

Also, can you please email your complete response to me at admckyer02@gmail.com? I promise it’s for my own edification and will be used as a reminder of what’s at the heart of socialism. When we, as Biblical Christians, are faced with societal, cultural, and even legal pressures to succumb to the ideologies of liberals and socialists, who knowingly or through their own ignorance, or false indoctrination are wreaking havoc in America and around the world, we must be able to present the Gospel of Christ as the only means and hope to true and lasting justice. In America, Christians have not faced persecution at the level of our brothers and sisters around the world. But the time is coming, now is here, when we’re going to face challenges and claims of discrimination and hate speech in preaching the Gospel, as laws are being covertly enacted to counter God’s Word, our biblical principles and faith! The malevolent campaign to remove the One True Living God and His Christ from our public square and private lives is in full force. I believe that Biblical Christians are going to have to BE spiritual armed with the power of the Holy Spirit, the knowledge and wisdom of Christ; and become mature in Biblical teachings and the right applications of them in their lives. I also believe that we’re being forced by our Heavenly Father to grow up, just like He had to scatter and displace the Jews in order for the Gospel of Christ to spread to the Gentiles. Unfortunately, in America, we have gotten too comfortable and complacent. Thanks be to God for His grace and mercy towards us!🙏🏽

    (2) the gospel prescribes the solution as Jesus. Social diagnoses the prescriptions as reparations, the green deal, etc.
How can social justice be the gospel when you can fully buy into it and not be a Christian? And look at its rotten fruit of anger, hatred, and unrighteous judgement (i.e., some of the replies below). Jesus told us to judge by the fruit, not by intentions.

John gives a great answer to this. This is how people take justice out of context and conform it to their own belief systems and standards. Many who are proclaiming social justice don't believe justice is for everyone. For instance, tolerance is only for them and not those who have opposing beliefs to them. Ironically, those are the people the word "tolerance" was intended for. Let God be true and every man a liar.

History has shown over and over again that anything that is done outside of GOD, has very little merit. Social changes are historically rooted in changes to obtain material things, by people who push moral superiority. I can assure you that most of them never once asked God to intervene or for his guidance. They mostly want to be seen as the hero.
