So gorgeous. After watching another one of your video’s earlier today I went and did a bloom painting with cells. It isn’t as lovely as yours and I still have flocculation on the edges. I was also so excited because I saw what I was doing wrong that I mixed my paint wrongly. I am starting to have trouble thinking of three things at the same time. It doesn’t matter what my painting looks like. You fixed so many problems I was having. Thank you. ❤️

Aussie Floetral has a couple additives. One is a wood conditioner or something. Thanks for this. Tilting can distort cells. I prefer spins. Will keep watching...

Hey, I'm in the UK too & can't work out if they're all using emulsion (for walls) or gloss (for woodwork) as pillow paint! What paint are you using please?
Spray the back of the canvas with water so it tightens nicely for you. Also, the higher the gloss of the pillow paint, the more it will stretch.
That makes sense .. even though a Satin house paint is listed in the #sheleeart USA product list for the pillow paint.
I don’t do Bloom technique, but I am a nerd.
@@cynthiawilson8294 I'm glad to hear that because I have semi gloss for my pillow paint. I do use Sherman Williams color to go and it is only in Satin. Seems to work great and I can have it colored any color I want and a quart is less than $9.00 in the US.

Gorgeous...love the experimenting. I find the same thing. Would love to see you play around with North American floetrol for the cell activator. I am in Canada as well and refuse to pay the crazy prices for Aussie floetrol.

I ring a little glue and conditioner does work but I see it so it’s very poofy if that makes sense. Would be nice to see them side by side but I don’t have Aussie floetrol...but you do 😉lol

Hi Lisa. Great painting. I just happened to search for different pillow paints that others use. And that mix looks great. Gonna try that. Also I have an idea you may like as well. Instead of glue, what about a textile medium. They've made to be stretchy...but they are very very fluid so would need to adjust the ratios. Just an idea. I use folkart textile medium in my cell activator. I saw another artist use GAC 900. Its a textile medium as well for fabric

Absolutely gorgeous… I agree don’t tilt it it’s perfect… The only thing I probably would have done prior to that was to tighten up my canvas a little bit with water… I’m trying to get a bloom but my pillow sucks and I use the same recipe you use glue all flow trawl and I put in titanium white and mine came out like crap but I also use the hairdryer and I am bad really horrible with the hairdryer then I tried to blow the store and it was too late I had just playing messed it up But nothing is a mistake everything is an experiment and a suggestion…
sooo beautiful. Does the art still look as good now? have not used the glue yet some say the colors yellow over time if use the glue. Thank you for sharing this process.
How much acrylic paint do you add to your glue mixture? Your cells are so good!
Well, this one is way stunning! Got a little confused with your colors as you were layering them. Got to go back & listen again. After watching this video and then the next one where you experimented with 5 different combos, I think I like this one with the glue all best. What do you think Lisa? Just some friendly advice make sure to scrape the paint off your spinner as soon as you're done because if not it will just keep piling up and piling up! I just wanted to share that with you cuz I noticed you had a lot of paint on your spinner! 😆💜🌸
Wonderful colours. I still like the blooms with paints vs pigments. Where/how do you get the Aussie floetrol in Canada?
Wow Lisa, you really master this technique! I love it ❤ unfortunately I've tried with UK Floetrol I cannot get those cells. As I live in Germany is pretty hard to purchase US or Australian Floetrol 😕
It is really hard without Aussie floetrol! Have you looked up European recipes?
Do have any hardware/paint stores there? Suppose u do. A place where house painters go. Ask for a paint conditioner. Amazon, FLEET Farm, Lowe's may ship.
Thankyou so much for your video, I have just started this technique & got some good lacing & cells, but my pillow paint is letting me down as it is cracking, I have been using "spring" low sheen acrylic & a little water ( Australia) I will try gloss housepaint ,Aussie Floetrol & glue to see if the cracking stops. 😃

Please can you explain the difference between paint and cell activator? Also I tried to do a pour and used satin house paint (emulsion) and then used acrylic colours mixed with liquitex medium. All of my colours dissapeared into the pillow of white when I tried my first ever swipe. I am very new to fluid art and am having far more failures than successes, but I gues that’s quite common. Any advice would be appreciated. Your pours look effortless and amazing by the way🙂

It is stunning, but what do you mean by this has cell activator?.what components are there in the specific clrs and why?
If you're using Australian floetrol do you bother with glue as well and is your ratio then 4:1?
Do you use Glidden premium semi gloss pure white base 1 or base 2 which must be tinted?
Are you mixing anything in with all your colors, for example water?
Amazing cells. What are you adding to your regular colors. I'm a bit confused about the ratios. I have the pillow ready to go but I'm mot sure if you add polyacrylic to all the colors or just the cell activators

Though this is an older video to you I am learning this technique now and watched you on Facebook today. You are a stitch! I have done a single painting yet,; perhaps tomorrow. I'll start on tiles like everyone does but I'm trying to a good bit of information under my belt. I still have trouble with regular fluid art getting cracks and such (thought that was well behind me, but oh well). I have spent so much money getting ready for this and next week I face my10th back surgery. What have I done? Anyway, this was gorgeous and I'm interested to know if you are delighted with your paint, glue, and Floetrol mix.
