“He’s not in the net, that’s not cool, where is he?”
He literally everywhere you’re not looking. 😂
Yes! I saw him zoom around the tank as they were both looking around and as he looked to the left of the tank the bichir zipped round the right side 🤣
I couldn't help but laugh "he's right there! You'll see when you watch the footage back! 🤣"
14:46 Tyrese charging the one Oscar and then the Oscar turns around like "Excuse you??" lol
I love Oscars. They have such great personalities.
Oscars where my first fish.. I had 4. They act more like a dog tbh😊
I actually like seeing the filter media from the side of the tank, and I don't think it detracts the rest of the tank, either. Those 180's are huge and look damn good!
agreed i like the look as well also it allows for good monitoring no guessing needed when it comes to maintenance
Joey please don't listen to the people thinking the filters an eye sore! Half of the beauty of aquariums is the "tech"! I love to see the filter like you got it!! So you can see what's going on 🙌🏼 And also thank you for the great content as always !
I agree learning the tech is part of the fun. I think my whole goal tho is to make it as natural and beautiful as possible and seeing equipment just destroys that for me.
it's only an eyesore if it's "not hidden." Therefore it's not an eyesore. Better to be able to see it and see what's going on with it than not don't cha think. Plus you're able to monitor it better versus covering it now the only way to check is by uncovering it versus coming down turning the aquarium light on and being able to see it right away (hands free) you spot something you can take care of it right there versus covering it lights on remove, place, declutter, replace, recover the filter finish. versus lights on declutter finish. You don't have to put anything back it's all right there 😎
“Where did he go?!” *All of us on RUclips pointing him out on the screen while you panic*
You should come over babe 😘
@@secredeath ….that’s weird
@@UnityDoesWhatever you love it 😚
@@UnityDoesWhatever what a weirdo
@@amingus09 no kidding.
I think it’s safe to say that the tank looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Phenomenal*
@@jackcaton7213 damn, beat me to it
Absolutely phenomenal *
@@Zimm40 🤣
7:25 Had a good chuckle at the bichir spazzing while Joey tried figuring out where he went.
I love your passion for aquariums. Thanks for all the great entertainment and education. I’m following your plywood aquarium build to make a new home for my giant gourami Andre, and it has been a huge help!
“Oh no Joey!, You didn’t wash the new media!”
Already waiting for that comment
I don’t like seeing the filter through the aquarium it self (you know where the fish swim), but through the sides it looks pretty cool imo. And i don’t know why, but Ronald seems like a good name for that fish 😬
I tinted the fronts of the filters last night! Looks way better now.
@@thekingofdiy wel, going to wait for that video 😂😂
Personally I like it see through too it looks dope 👌
Being in the hobby for well over 30 years, the one thing that I've learnt about filtration is that you can't have enough.... The more (and bigger) fish you have, the more filtration you'll need!
The way you freaked when you thought he hadn’t gone in the tank, the worry on your face Joey, pure passion and love for the hobby and your fish….. Legend 🙏
I have been watching your progress for almost a decade now. Keep up the excellent work. Your truly inspirational. Love the Oscar tank.
Me just sitting here watching the Bichir zoom into the tank, run to the right side of the tank, and then make its way back to the left side where it was finally found.......if I could just yell into the computer 👀😂
The more I clean canister filters, the more I appreciate do-it-yourself built in filters. They are efficient, easy to access and clean, no dealing with hoses, no leaks on the floor when cleaning, they are perfect and cheap.
My literal dream aquarium. ❤️ it is absolutely stunning. Can’t wait to see more!!
I think your best ever tank! Great stocking, great scape and I actually really like showing off the DIY filter, it looks good and is interesting to see it working right in your face rather than hidden. 10 out of 10!
Love it Joey👏🏼😁
Tank turned out great! Everybody looks good.
Been watching you and following you for A long time now.. i love seeing how your hobby is still growing and that you seem to still love it.. you taught me a lot… Unfortunately I’ve had some surgeries on my arm so it’s been hard for me to do water changes and had to get rid of all my tanks… Watching you makes it hard for me though now… Miss my fish and tanks… Please keep going because If i am able to get back to it I’m gonna still continue to love watching you and learn from you.. please keep the positive attitude and teaching And being a inspiration… Hope I can one day I do this again to just on a way lower scale than you.. be even rly cool to see your gallery in person..
What a gorgeous tank and your bond with the misses is spot on fella one of your best videos mate love it
Loved this type of vedio format all the running around and the high energy
!Fantastic! Those Oscars have such great colour 😍
Beautiful set up with those fish.
The despair when you didn't see the fish was one of the most relatable things in this channel's history
So great that you showed the after look from 24hrs later in same vid. Please always do that.
WOW!!! Looks Great. New favorite??? Maybe. Love exposed filter.
Those 180 tanks are gorgeous - it is amazing how much more room there is to see everything swimming.
So impressed with the new setups! Amazing job Joey!
6:20 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL *karate chop hiyaaa* 😂. Oscar tank looks amazing!!
Love seeing the filter I'll love to be able to see into mine see where the media is
That came together really nicely.
I personally like being able to see the filtration it's a nice clean design kinda like a jacked up version of them fluval tanks
That really turned out awesome!
Looks Amazing !!
Tank looks amazing!
I love everything about this aquarium. Joey, great job!
People say visible sponge filters in the tank are ugly but I like being able to see my sponge filters and the bubbles rising out of the tube. I just like the look of it.
I must confess, I love seeing the filters, and I would build them to be visible, so I can monitor them visually 😊
Just love this tank
Love the filter system
Looks great
Very nice tank, well thought out and engineered for the occupants.
I like the filter the way it is. Of course, I love watches that let you see the gears, and exposed machines that show technology.
I look forward to the follow ups,
Jim
PS: Thanks again; my son and I love your book. He just built his first stand based on your design and insights.
Absolutely phenomenal!! 😍😍
Joey! I Fn love the sump on the side. When you have an aquarium that big, its not really taking away from the fish.
Looks amazing
Great looking tank Joey!!
It's gorgeous Joey!! Everything about it is perfection
I actually like the cool filters you built. I also loved how the Oscar's were looking at you intensely while you got the cycled media out. Lol
Love that scape joey! Love that you were able to incoperate some plants despite the oscars!
Wow. WOW. Joey, wow. That aquarium really is ultimate. great job!
Tank looks amazing. Your scaping skills are getting better!!
Great idea Joey this tank looks amazing 👍
Looking awesome
I can't tell you how perfect timing this is! I have a 190 coming and Im taking in about 6 Oscar's that size im so excited
The lighting is beautiful.
I like the look of the filtration system, I had a similar setup on my peacock cichlid tank. it was cool to see where all the water was going. It does sacrifice some space in the display tank, but you don't have to risk breaking your tank by drilling :D
For me clear view of the filter makes it much easier to see how the filter is doing.
Also for maintenance.
Sir King.. Those filters are dope.. 😍😍
Love the tank! And love the in tank filter. After years of dealing with my giant canister filters, I would definitely trade for an easy access in tank filter like your's
You definitely know your stuff.
Amazing. 👍👍👍
Looks fantastic! 😍
Looks great
Ah yes, oscars, the BEST FISH ever!
I’m sure you do anyway but when I upgrade filtration and need to add more I mix old with new so that it seeds quicker.
Glad you finally named him. Ronnie has been my favorite Oscar!!! I hope to find one that looks like him to have as my wet pet friend.
Beautiful setup.
That aquarium looks fantastic Joey. Can’t wait to see the new gallery.
I like showing Media so you can see how it was made and works 👍
Looks great ❤️👏👏👏
Looks awesome 👍
Long awaited video. Your tank looks awesome joey:)
*loving the filter*
I am watching again, and I love the filter system, so I can keep an eye on the filter
Hi Joey love the open filter look ‘ also you are doing a great job teaching us the fish hobby
Great Video, keep up the good work 👍
that endli is going to love that gravel.i bet it will bury itself and sit there with its eyes popping out mine used to do it all the time lol
Awesome 👍
Why is it satisfying to watch this man work?
I like seeing the inside of the filter.
Loving these regular videos 📹 😍
Always love watching this man's videos
Loving the tank
That tank is awesome! I once kept three oscars in a 90g, but this is so much more awesome.
This tank is gorgeous
I think the filter looks good being just see through, reminds me of the filter Foo The Flowerhorn built out of glass internally in his Oscar tank. Super sick concept IMO
Dude! That's a lot of tanks! I love it
That looks cool Bro , not an eye sore..... Good stuff....Hoorah!!
I loved all the "maniacal" laughter coming from Joey. lol
Really love the Oscar tank excellent 👌
The excitement Joey gets from adding the fish does something for me.... Such a happy dude
That Oscar tank with the new scape is looking good very cool

STUNNING Joey
Hi Joey the looks amazing I love it
"..And a really big bike shirt..." 0:24 ..Hahaha that was great!.. Also, love the video(s) Joey man! Convicts are awesome!!! Keep em comin dude!
That's not an eye sore, I like it, you get to see the inner workings. Makes it better to show in vids.
just woww scape is awesome with the lightning
You could use a thin black panel with thin magnets on each corner to cover the filtration area.
