- WOW! So a huge new leak of gameplay footage from Sonic frontiers the final horizon has just dropped. Dlc 3 is looking awesome and we see info on the new story as well as challenges and multiple playable characters.

Why wouldn't it be? You can literally activate photo mode whenever you want. This is like asking "I wonder if running will be unlocked in the red room", like yeah obviously it will be.

Hopefully the powers from the chaos emeralds will be included like sonic origins and sonic prime season 3
I can't say I"m a fan of each emerald having a unique power. Just seems too convoluted with 7 of the things. Plus just having them basically being gems of power that can be used to fuel to powers of the user allows for more freedom than locking each emerald to having a specific power.
The emeralds having singular powers should be classic only to have a personality separate from modern

@@oatatus4102Doesn't matter since classic sonic is just younger sonic. So the emeralds not having consistent properties is just bad writing.

I expect it to be quite an interesting final update, it may be so huge it may as well be on a class of its own.
So there are more leaks than this and let's just say that they are REALLY changing Ouranos. Not going to talk about it tho because it will spoil you all. But Just know the currant ending of the game is getting erased.

Man, I am so excited for Sonic Frontiers update 3.
Probably been suggested before, but in relation to the new sonic form, does anybody think instead of it being like "hyper sonic" or whatever, it's something completely new like "cyber sonic". There was a big red cloud around him and the cyan colour of his eyes looks like the colour of the other characters in cyber form. Perhaps he uses the cyber energy he is corrupted with initially. Maybe he can dip in and out of cyberspace somehow as part of the fight mechanics?
I mean that’s kinda obvious. I can almost guarantee this is going to be a 1 off form just for this game. Like how it was in Black Knight and secret rings. Most likely the form we see in the trailer isn’t the full on “cyber form” because don’t forget “The End” is still and obvious enemy in the story and we’ll probably get a stronger form to fight that since the new form is going to fight The End

Different enemy types in rooms with gimmicks...
Tails will probably defeat the cyclone enemies, due to probably being based on ranged and/or flying comnat.
Knuckles will probably punch straight through the shells.
And I imagine Amy will be able to knock the Self Destruct Wheels away with her hammer or something.
I dunno. Looks like they wanna show off each character's gimmicks

I really hope that when the DLC come out you’ll be able to play it without finishing the main story because that has also happened when the boss rush in cyberspace Rush modes came to the game I want this because believe it or not I’m still progressing for the game’s main story, and I really want to get a shot at the third DLC and I want to do it without having to worry about finishing the main story that way I can focus on both stories at once!

So I am currently playing through the game trying to beat it before the update, considering that the leaks are basically saying they are going to change the ending, should I even do that or just instead focus on like unlocking stuff and getting the spin dash
I think you should beat it while it's in "stock form" because even now the story is hype and definitely get the spindash (so basically do both if you can)
I mean if you're close to finishing go ahead. Then you can compare the two endings.

honestly this is huge news for amy alone. she hasn't been playable for more than 2 LITERALLY 2 levels in any mainline sonic game (heroes doesn't count bc everyone got the same treatment but even then she still had significantly shorter levels)

Maybe after defeating each titan you unlock a character as there are four of each - Giganto, Wyvern, Knight, and Supreme, and Knuckles, Amy, Tails, and Sage.

im pretty sure you get the other 3 characters for more than just one island because their skill trees are available to view in the update 2 files as well. why would they get a skill tree from only 1 island? no one is gonna have time to grind for all that on 1 island lol

When this update came out i returned to play but it turns out that both my new game+ (for my easy difficulty run) & regular new game (for my normal difficulty run) are kronos, & i'm on a 100% run, so no shortcuts & as of rn i'm still on chaos BEFORE meeting knight the first time, so i'm still taking a couple of hours until i get to the update 3 content

its more then likely a trick of the camera, this isn't actually a surprise cause the quills seemed to look longer in some frames in the past as well

i have a question. on my sonic frontiers disk game on the 2nd part of the final boss where you so the light and dark shooting thing always seems to skip and idk if its my disk or what bc it was like this when i first completed the game it would show the ligh shooter and dark shooter button for a split second before skipping to the part where the tital throws you torwards the moon enemy ( i haven't played sonic frontirers for months thats why i don't remember the name of the other characters names )
You could only play that boss in hard mode so maybe you are in a different mode?
