Absolutely love the video! I bought the Kies WiFi unit based on your recommendation... Thanks, as always... Just one point, in Bimmercode, "Kies" doesn't show up... select the top one (ENET CABLE)... Once you set it once it seems to stay in there... Took me 5 min total to code in my Active sound and the B&W sound... including figuring it out lol. Crazy fast. Thanks again bro... see ya soon.
Did you have a network cable and a network to lightning adapter when coding? It looked like your phone was connected to something in the video. Or was this all done via Wifi?
I have 2 questions: 1) When done coding, to get out of diagnostic mode, do you turn off the car or just hit the start/stop button? 2) Coding for the sound system, do you retain the stock sound equalizer??? Great vid as always!
Hi.. I've been in the bimmercode app for my 2016 bmw x5 with the HK system, and the only option I have is the amplifier code. Is this the only option in the system to make the audio louder? I can select thru model ranges (im assuming they are car models cuz mine was defaulted to F15).

@@Snappycrix all you have to do is hit set up by your shifter, set up the sport settings and hold down M1 or M2. No need to code it is designed to work that way from the factory
@@Snappycrix these is an option for it to do that also… I am trying to remember what button to check for that. You can get it to change the cluster also without coding
Hello friend. I were wondering. I got a 2012 f20 118 bmw, with basic sound system (lower than hifi) so I uppgradet to focal speakers (for doors and I added tweeters to the doors) will thiese settings from bimmercode make more improvement or its a waste of time? Thanks!
@@WhatsyourForte I work at BMW, the car isn’t mean to that watts and it ruins your amp and messes with your whole electrical system, burns out your speakers prematurely. Revert asap

a bit different car class... but yes... from what I've heard Burmester in merc and Bowers & Wilkins in Volvo are class of their own.

I've got the vgate WiFi adapter one but can't seem to get any Internet connection as I'm trying to do it from my phone don't seem to understand
i tried this on a non harman/kardon car. the bass is insane but other than that it's the same

Mine is the 'hifi' system in my 2024 G42. I'm going to do this in a couple days. Really hope it bumps up the bass!

Just got the start stop button to leave the mode. Yes I retained all of my EQ settings.

Is this kies Audi adapter any different than the veepeak you used to use?
I’m getting bm3 and bimmercode for the F8X and have the veepeak on order
Yes it is a little faster and you can use this adapter with BimmerCode and BM3. No need to switch out

This is a 2019… they did not offer that option in 2016

I activated B&O on my 2015 BMW with Harmon Kardon. Is it possible to activate Bowers and Wilkins on it?
Maybe I am not sure if BimmerCode has that option on that model
