Just can’t understand why they don’t add wrist gaiters to this jacket!

in the backcountry you end up taking your gloves on and off quite a bit. it could be a thoughtful design around that as it's a pain to get wrist gators set up correctly once you pull your gloves off.

I'm 6'1, 94kg would the L or XL be better? I like a loose fitting jacket but not stupid long

Thanks for your question! I personally would recommend a size Large for you based on your dimensions since you and I have a somewhat similar build. I am 6'2, 82kg and would personally prefer to wear a size Large in this jacket. I just tried on a size XL in this jacket and it fits me way too big. The sleeves hang fully past my hands and the length goes below my seat. This jacket is made to have a relaxed fit, so keep that in mind when choosing your size. I tend to like an oversized fit in jackets, but the XL is too oversized for me personally. I hope this comparison helps give you a better idea of this jackets sizing, and if you have any further questions feel free to reach out to our customer service team and they will gladly assist you! 1-800-818-0946

Can‘t decide between Cyclic, Hover or Tusk 🤔

Thanks for your question! A great thing about ALL of these jackets is that they are all equipped with GORE-TEX, which is guaranteed to keep you dry in ANY weather conditions. The main differences between these three jackets is the breathability rating. The [ak] Cyclic and [ak] Hover jackets have a 4 out of 5 breathability rating while the [ak] Tusk has a 5 out of 5 breathability rating. ALL of these jackets have a 1 out of 5 warmth rating due to their shell-like build. The fit for these jackets will be a more relaxed fit, enabling the user to properly layer underneath depending on the current conditions. Hope this helps! If you ride resort more than 50% of the time get the Cyclic. The other two are much more backcountry focused, with the tusk being mostly designed for high output activities like splitboarding. That said, all AK gear is awesome and will work on resort as well, but it's kinda like driving a jacked up overland 4x4 as your daily driver. You're going to spend a lot of money on features most people will use at best a couple of times, when you would be much better off with a stock Tacoma( Cyclic) that is capable of the type of offroading 99% of people actually do.

Is there a difference between the last years model and this one? I see wildly different prices from 360$ to 555$… but can’t see from which year they are

Thanks for your question! For Burton's [ak] Cyclic GTX shell jacket, the features are pretty much identical to last seasons. Last years model and this years Cyclic shell jackets both have the same length, same living lining technology, and same Gore-tex waterproofness. The only real differences are the new colorways for this season!
As for the varying prices, you may find some lower than their normal value potentially due to a store is wanting to clear space for new products and inventory. You can sometimes find the jackets corresponding season in the products item/style number, although not all companies include this. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team and they will gladly assist you! (1-800-818-0946) We hope this helps!
