The thing I love about stranded deep is that you never feel like you’re alone, unlike Minecraft, this has a vibey ambience, with chirps at night and water beating in the day along with various different things.

The big red container is a good starting shelter, you can use it to cool off and if it is positioned right you can place a campfire in it.
Thats funny if you have ever been in a shipping container on a hot day. They are ovens...

it was promising when it first came out but since then barely anything has been added and it's a buggy mess

idk why, but this game has always bugged me. When you compare it to other survival games of its category, its flaws become so glaringly obvious that you just feel demotivated.
I just wanted to play with a buddy and the desync issues were so bad that we had to Screenshare through Discord just to understand what was going on for each of us. My PC crashed to desktop and his outright bluescreened from this game. It's not nearly as bad solo, but it just gets boring after a while.
I spent all of Summer Break on The Forest when it came out. I nearly lost my gf in College over spending every weekend on The Long Dark. All I lost while playing Stranded Deep with my buddy was my mouse, because I got so frustrated over desync that I threw it across the room like a manchild for the first time in my life (it was a bad day). I've gotten so good at Getting Over It that you can see me on the leaderboards, you might find my username in the end-game chat sometimes, and all I did was take frequent breaks to de-stress.
This game just gets me goin', in a very infuriating way.

I think they might still be working on it like adding new creatures and different islands but I could be wrong
So the ending is just a loop, you never actually get to escape

You can save at a bed or lean to on any of the islands, so I'd usually just save every morning. "I played 100 days" , definitely not "I survived 100 days" 😂 The game I'm playing next is permadeath though 😉

Why do you sound like you're just repeating the same sentence?
Kinda late but I would assume it is because the sentence structure is basically the same every time. He often has a few sentences in a "Idea/Plan", "Gathering", sometimes "Problem" and repeat which basically continues through the entire video.
