About done with my near 100% run myself(I decided to just use a seed after that knows where the survivor remnants and Woolie were instead of looking randomly with no compass). It's been interesting to see how differently we played the game. I pretty much always had full health and food/water bars, and was never close to death. You seemed to play fast and loose with that a lot. I made a pretty big barge like raft pretty early that ultimately had 27 chests on 9 container shelves with tons of supplies, but I still always went back to my home base in between trips. I had everything done by around day 70-75, so now I'm more or less just idling at my home base to hit 100 days. This was fun to watch.
This felt like a story, having fun, surviving and the music ❤

At 55:45, a part of me thinks you indeed checked it out because that's what i did when i saw the yellow buoy for the first time only to 💩 my pants afterwards and dip as fast as i could as it chased me. Good thing my raft was huge so i managed to escape easily 😂
I didn't feel ready for any bosses lol. I genuinely thought it was a shark so was scared to jump in the water haha

Noooo you could have used the gyrocopter - the compass on it doesn't count against the achievement

@@NaturalCauzes On the PC version you can use the gyrocopter, you only lose the achievement if you hold a compass. I got the achievement after using the copter. It seems that the console version might have issues with it though

Man I was new and am on day 15 and I got a base a raft and a box of tools bro stranded deep is easier when u learn while playing.
If you drop all your food and move it onto the fire you can cook all your food on one fire
so did you manage to get ALL achievements or did taking a compass into your inventory ruin that one... that achievement is a pain... Also opening a chest with a compass doesn't invalidate the attempt, but picking up a chest with a compass inside does... found that out the hard way... 35 runs most between 100-1000 days, and still need that last achievement...
Yeah that one achievement is super annoying, but yes I did manage to get it. I was very careful to throw them out into the ocean
@@NaturalCauzes Nice, I been playing on Console, and yeah very annoying since if I picked up a chest and if I opened it up later and it had a compass it invalidates the run to the achievement... annoyingly...
Another important thing. Don't use the gyrocopter either. It counts as a compass. That's why I reloaded the save when I used mine
@@NaturalCauzes already got the gyro achievement. but will make it on a secondary save, just to be safe

29:33 I’m sorry, animal nerd here, why on earth is there a goblin shark being highly aggressive and flipping boats in tropical reefs and at the surface?? Sorry, I know it’s a game and such and it’s cool to see goblin sharks shown in the media but it hurts the nerd brain in me to see a deep sea creature in shallows/not deep ocean. (It’s like seeing an angler fish in a tide pool, weird)

You should play uncharted 1 to 4 and i don't mean for a video i mean you could if you want to either way it's a amazing story and it's super fun and action filled unlike stranded deep i hated it but i know it will be a good video either way
