    Every dollar you don’t spend, is a dollar you don’t have to make. And, every time I go to the keys, I get offered a couple of jobs, without even asking or looking. The businesses there are always hurting for people who will actually show up on time for work and give a full day.

    He is spot on about finding work in the Keys. Ive been diving there for 50 years was a SCUBA instructor there and if you were on time and motivated for atleast the first week you were Management material! Get all the certs you can. I’m a Master Instructor through PADI, SSI, NASE and have a Captain license and never had a problem getting a job in the field. You guys rock keep following your dream 👍.

      Thanks! We feel like we could be so overwhelmed with the work available. We are going based on faith that we could work elsewhere when needed. Such as the USVI. Thank you for watching.

    Either having minimal or zero debt is key. If you have debt you have no option but to make money. Also, you can live on surprisingly little if you want/need to. Another great video, thanks :)

    WoW guys. That's lots of information for sure. The one thing i gleaned out if it is, " you can do it if you are willing to do the work to get it done." So get out there and do it. Thanks for a great video. Lots more in depth then some others. It was great getting the perspective of other boat owners. Stay safe! Until our adventures cross.....

You really seem to have it together and I really wanna know your take on that and what I should do in college to further a career on the water

    Just found you and enjoying your videos. We are in Canada and my wife and I are thinking of buying a boat in Florida, and hoping to rent it out in a marina VRBO until we can livecaboard in a few years. Is this something that the marina would allow? Do you know of someone that foes this? Any advice would be great. Thank you Steve

    • @WanderingKnapps
      @WanderingKnapps  2 года назад

      Thank you so much for watching. As far as VRBO on a boat, you'll have to call each marina. Every marina has differnt rules what they allow. That sounds like a great idea

      Jim, you're showing your arrogance. Looking at the shadows the sun is probably in his eyes. At least he not wearing a mask. So he's not as arrogant as you thought.

      Then your showing your ignorance, the camer man should have moved him to a better position, your only looking for an excuse, maybe you had something to do with that video.
      You obviously haven't heard the saying
      " The eyes are the windows to the soul "
      If l can't see your eyes when your talking to me, your hiding the truth in what your saying.
      If your happy talking to someone behind a mask that's your choice.

    • @pmaint1
      @pmaint1 3 года назад

      Jim, While it's true that the eyes are the windows to the soul, he's not talking to you, he's talking to a camera and you're watching him on a monitor. Even if he didn't have sunglasses on you still wouldn't be able to see his eyes
      So there's nothing personal about it.
