    It's nice to see Triptykon performing Celtic Frost's songs, specially this one, love it!

      triptykon singer is same as celtic frost if u did not know. i actually dont like see them do frost. martin eric ain is dead and this is not celtic frost band. martin was a big part of frost and its not the same without him. they should stop do remakes and do their own stuff. i never been a fan of any remakes and the original is mostly always better.for me cf is dead and should remain dead.

      @@maniaque37 Of course I know that, that's what I mentioned it. I'm a fan of both bands and I'm glad they play those songs, the Monotheist album is very similar to the sound of Triptykon and I think those songs fit perfectly with the band. I don't see any problem with that. Obviously, it is not the same, but it's still a great cover and I wouldn't like CF songs to stay forgotten forever. Also, I don't think this is disrespectful, and this was before Martin's death. They do their own stuff, they don't focus on doing CF related stuff. :)

    Does anyone know how Mr. Fischer gets his thickest ever tone?
    (Don't tell me its an OD and a Marshall)
    Does he have two amps stereo one with fuzz one with distortion? One Marshall, one Fender maybe?

    • @JulesN.
      @JulesN. 4 года назад +1

      Actually it's exactly that! From what I got with a little bit of research he uses at least two Marshall JCM800 2203 100W stacks, an Ibanez Tube Screamer (I saw the mini version in the pedalboard picture I found), a BOSS OC-3 and occasionally some wah courtesy of an Ibanez Weeping Demon. An easy recipe, but what a huge tone does he get from such a simple setup! Last but not least, he tunes down to B standard since Monotheist...so that helps quite a bit in getting a tone that shakes the mountains! \m/

      @@JulesN.
      Hey Jules, thank you very much for the reply and your research.
      The JCMs must have been made really hot by some amp pros and I gut an unproven feel that there is a subtle delay (maybe 30ms) between the two amp signals.
      All the best!
      PS: Ah, the OC-3 ... as you name it .... yes, very likely indeed.

      He is also playing with hos tone knob at the guitar, usually rolling them to the minimum

    • @SprunkCovers
      @SprunkCovers 3 года назад +1

      Marshall + TS9 + B tuning + Tone knob at minimum

    • @JulesN.
      @JulesN. 3 года назад +2

      @@SprunkCovers yeah, that's more or less the tone recipe of Tom Warrior! Simple but pretty damn effective, and a reminder to all aspiring guitar players out there of what a beast of an amp the JCM 800 is, even for metal. If it's good for Tom Warrior, Kerry King, Jeff Hanneman, Erik Rutan and Trevor Peres (all metal legends) I guess it's good for us mere mortals too!

      No.... They have never been... if you listen all the albums the first are thrash/speed that influence Black Metal and the others albums are glam metal Album Cold Lake And Vanity Nemesis. the Last One Called Monotheist is Doom And Scence Thrash . And in Triptikon they keep a dark Doom scene
