I remember that show so well. They played right before motörhead and it was the first time i really enjjoyed their show. I'm a fqn until now and saw them 4 times since then.
I love Amon, they are one of the coolest and most consistent metal bands out there but for some reason the mix always seems to be terrible at these big arena shows. They sound much better in a club atmosphere. That being said, I remember when know one had ever even heard of these dudes and now they are huge for a melo death metal band. And they did it without fucking selling out or changing a thing about themselves and their music. They have just gotten better and better at what they do. These kinds of bands are keeping GOOD metal alive!! \m/ \m/
J MetalSkinz They made a huge leap a few albums back (after Versus...) when they finally got enough support from their label to quit their day jobs and focus on the music. You can hear a rise in their songwriting and musicianship.
When or if you have the time. Just go fucking see them live, really nice performances they bring. Its a great tip from a guy here who have seen them 4 times

Awesome performence, for sure, I stood in the first row .. I just wish I would have heard the guitars from there, I could barely hear anything other than vocals and drums >__> Out of all the bands I saw, not one had a mix which was as terrible as the mix of Amon Amarth, who were, besides Megadeth, pretty much the highlight of the final day, for me. =(
I saw them live outdoos in Italy in 2017 and I confirm, I could listen only drums, bass and vocals.. it was disappointing because Amon Amarth is my favourite band. Nothing to say about indoors. I hope in Wacken 2020 they have fixed this audio mix

Most of it has to do with where you're standing at the venue. If you're right at the sound board, the sound should be great
