Hey man, I absolutely cannot wait to hear your take on more of the Creeper’s weapons in future videos to come. This is stuff I’ve thought about and been fascinated by for years. Hell yeah!
The art on that dagger tells a lot about him more than we know, it’s even more eerie and sinister because he designed it himself telling his own origins and story. And yes it’s supernatural, seeing that thing fly across the room on its own, I wouldn’t doubt if it has a mind of its own as the “one ring” in the Lotr Franchise.
@@ChevonJBenzo it is eerie thinking a dark creature hand carved weapons used to kill humans, and those very weapons have a supernatural quality allowing them to move on their own. Imagine how deadly its lair would be. Flying weapons? Yikes. 😳
@@ChevonJBenzo the LOTR element your proposing is interesting, if I remember the lore correctly Sauron poured part of his essence into the ring so it’s interesting to consider that the Creeper has warped the souls he has snatched and perhaps infused part of himself into his various implements.
Yes here we go with the weapons of the creeper and how they are seemingly able to connect with the creeper as he can use his power to make them hit targets that he wants to hit and come back to the Creeper when he calls them. I think this has to tie with his physic abilities to control objects such as his truck. I think that much like you said in previous videos that when the Creeper consumes someone he also captures their souls/essence and they become of him as he becomes a part of them. So with that is the base for his psychic abilities, that he somehow implants his weapons with the soul/souls of his victims in order to connect the weapon to the Creeper. As for the weapon design, I think that round object more represents the sun, since it's emanating rays in straight lines, rather than moonlight which usually has rounder lines since the light it emanates is softer. As for the name of the dagger weapon, I think a good name would be 'Bone Piercer' since it literally stabbed through Scotties humerus (upper arm bone) and pinned him to the tree.
@@Badboyben1422 great thoughts. It would make sense how the weapons are controlled to some degree. Certainly it could be the sun carved into the handle. It is hard to tell. Hi. Great video. It’s the first time I’ve seen the dagger up close (& thankfully not in person). I think we should take a second to praise the creatives & prop designers. It may have just been pitting & patina causing this, but it looked like at least one of the bodies on the spirit side has a wound across its chest. If it’s deliberate it’s very interesting. It shows the Creeper doesn’t shy away from acknowledging the brutality it commits. Very often, killers will minimise their crime, eg avoiding using factual language such as ‘stabbed to death’ and replacing it with distancing language such as ‘they were hurt’. It’s a whole area of psychology I’m fascinated with. As the Creeper is currently far beyond being classed as human, the normal sociopath & psychopath labels can’t be applied here, but these are personality types that would be factually detailed about their crimes. So for me, what could be a possible, factual detail on the knife opens up a new can of worms in regards to the Creepers personality. Another quick thought I had was, what happened to the throwing stars that took out the bus? We’re they on one of the adults when they were taken? A small detail I didn’t think about until it now seems to be a more important question. Happy new year to everyone 🎉
Fascinating thoughts, great comment! We are also pleased you didn't get too close a look at the dagger, in person. Could be somewhat troublesome. We will look closer at the dagger and see if it might be a wound on one of the spirits. It is likely since the Creeper is so descriptive in its artwork. Knowing the director’s sickening crimes and exploitation of a young boy makes this monster even creepier than initially intended. (that is only speculative), but let's go with that hypothesis, when the dinosaurs were wiped out, naturally the parasite would have to find it's form elsewhere, this would contribute to the mass of animalistic feautres as well over time
It can’t pre-date humans because the Creeper was once human.
@@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck that's true, unless we go with the idea of it being a parasitic life form and only the current form is of human origins. (if we go with the idea of the spider like feature on the back of it's head being the true creature)
@ ah got it, like the parasite is older. Then couldn’t it carve images of the parasite?
@@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truckto a lesser extent it had, if we look at 6:33, we get a good look at the "spiritual" side of the handle, at the top we can see the creepers human face surrounded by some tendrils. this could signify in my mind 2 possible things, 1: a representation of it's history of worship, or 2: the parasite having a greater reach. as you stated in the video, everything it consumes becomes a part of it. i know this brings up so many more questions and leaves room for a lot of interpretation, and that's honestly what i love about the creeper and these movies, i'm glad i found your channel and glad you're open to the conversation regarding the lore
@ hey thank you! 🙏 and we’re glad you’re here with us discussing creeper theories.
Where can i get one of those daggers?
@@Oaktown_5ive they were a short run production after the second movie. They are still available on eBay now and them. Pretty expensive.
Rip darry jenner
Darry such young coocky man but creeper take him away
@@GulnozaIbragimova-b2h the Creeper did. Darry had what the creature was looking for, pun intended.
Knowing the director’s sickening crimes and exploitation of a young boy makes this monster even creepier than initially intended. Or maybe the Creeper serves as the director’s power fantasy in some sick sense, in that he is an evil that can never truly be defeated and hides in the shadows, very much like another monster the director is very familiar with.
FFC?
Jeepers Creepers 4 when?!
@@mauricehoek9182 2022. It was pretty bumpy.
@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck wasn't that a reboot? I'm talking a continuation from 3 with Trish finally confronting the creeper
@ ah yes. True. There was a plan to continue from the end of the second film. Everyone sharing that script is diminishing its chances of happening. To add to the drama, two producers from 3 took the franchise and still hold it hostage supposedly working on another film. Once it’s out of their hands we should get another good movie.
@@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck very informative, thank you for clearing things up!
@ you are welcome.
And I have a juicy theory about this later
@@aaronapsp can’t wait! 👍👍
So nobody’s gonna give us an explanation for why Kenny Brandon is black but in Jeepers 3 he’s white????
@@tejaisullivan6148 he was never black. The life cast guy was a big white guy from the art department. But his ghost seems to have lost some of his buffiness.
It has a actual name nobody knows.
It’s on the box when you buy it, marketed by the franchise back when the movie was released.
