I think maybe he does hibernate for 23 years but that he also is awake longer then 23 days. Maybe its 23 weeks or even months. One theory that i also like to play around with is that the creeper stays in the area of east 9 because he was murdered there, and had some deal with a spellbinder that granted him this twisted version of immortality prior to his death. Making him into the creature we know now. Maybe in his prior life he was a serial killer and thats why he does what he does now instead of being more low key like say bigfoot or a skinwalker.
That is a pretty legitimate theory. We would sure like a little more information to help weave the tapestry of truth about the Creeper and his universe. Yep. The truck just feels like it is a spirit. I think it is easy for people to feel that way. We have always felt the truck had a mind of its own from the time we saw the first movie. Then more so when we read Cathedral. Victors main interest is the Creeper and he was never in favor of anything that threatened the Creepers prominence in the Jeepers universe. Now I’m sure he doesn’t have a credit card, so he’d have to go inside the store to have the pump turned on with cash. So why isn’t there any mention of an encounter with a gas station attendant ? And furthermore , where does he get cash? I mean he’s not mowing lawns……..

I always wondered if 6A4EVR knew about the Creeper truck and that’s why they pulled off the side of the road. They had an Arizona license plate, but possibly heard the stories. I believe a lot of your theories. I think because he’s supernatural, it brings about the psychic and telekinetic powers that follow his presence like Minxie with her psychic abilities and his weapons moving on their own...In the 3rd film, we see more of the truck being like an extension of The Creeper and also how his engine is souped-up in the first film as Darry mentioned. Could definitely be the spirit of an ancient stallion from his world. So fascinating!
Thank you. You know, there is a lot of speculation about the RV pulling off. Factually it is just a means of revealing the Creeper truck. But fictionally we don’t think there was much to read into that. We just think they were on their way to someplace. It is interesting tho- did you know when the RV turns off the road, they are really just turning off into a field. There was no road there, not even a dirt one, and if you look hard you can see the struggle is real. 🤣

For me the scariest scene is when what we think is some strange looking man that doesn't feel like a man sees them while he's dumping bodies. From far away he turns and just stares at Trish and Darry as if he can see or.....smell every detail about them. I didn't know he was a demonic, creature thing but I didn't feel like he was human? Brilliant.
This was brilliant. And it is interesting if you haven’t heard the story. They filled that scene a dozen times or more and there was just something missing. He was dumping bodies and the kids were driving by witnessing it. But on the last take they asked Breck to turn and stare at them. This was the moment they felt like they had a very special movie.
So many interesting ideas & theories. Sure hope part 5 gets the budget it needs to fully realize whatever is in the script. I liked part 3 & even part 4. But both (especially 4) suffered from the small budget that was allocated to the production. There is so much potential going forward to make at least one more outstanding film in the franchise (or more than one more) & all it takes is a great story & the money to put it on the screen. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the 5th movie will have everything it needs to make all us fans happy.

That would have been a nice touch. The skull mace doesn’t really have much backstory at this point. It was more than likely a victim or multiple victims. It was probably human but with other things morphed to it like he does.
I dont know if this was a movie mistake or not but when the creeper chases darry and Trish after watching him at the church dump the bodies then they go back to the church and darry falls in the pipe the bodies he just put down there should've been right where he landed but they wasn't. Now that we know he can control his truck without being behind the wheel makes me wonder if he went down there moved the bodies then flew away before darry and Trish got there. Also it appears that the creeper was in the truck chasing them, because if you look closely you can see a outline of someone wearing a hat driving the truck unless I've imagined that for all these years😂
@@deputydog3137 two great points. Yes the bodies should have been right below the pipe. But if he can move his truck without touching it he might have moved the bodies away from where they fell. But not sure why he would. That point has always bothered us also and is in real life just an overbite in the movie. As for the chase yes he is in there after he dumps the bodies. But wouldn’t it be interesting if he was at the church the first time while the truck came up behind them? It was two different attacks. One honking and the other ramming. 🤔
Pretty involved. We were the first to read the script. Spitballed some scripting ideas, helped in prep, provided the original truck, got to drive the truck during some of the filming and we participated as extras.
What if during those 23 years he walks around as a man? I mean think about it, you have to get parts, you have to get fuel, you have to have a place that you can keep all of your things for an extended period of time that no one is ever going to be visiting randomly. Best way to do that? Take on the form of a human. The question then is does he go back to his human form, or take on the form of any victim he wishes?
It is very interesting and we love this thought. But there are some limitations that are hard to get around. He has to return to the ground for 23 more years. And he can’t feed for 23 years. Man would most likely have to. But we believe he is basically awake for those 23 years and much like your theory he can accomplish all the things he needs to do.

It is a funny story. The director wasn’t planning on a sequel so the trucks were sold for scrap metal after filming. Seems ridiculous. So when 2 came about the couldn’t find the trucks, and the director isn’t a car enthusiast so he really didn’t care. He went without the trucks and that was one of the biggest fan complaints from the second movie. Everyone wanted tbe truck to return. And rightly so they basically made a character out of it I. The first.

He takes gas. He may take it from victims on the road or remote farm tanks. He doesn’t need to be in public to get it done.

In part 2 when it was stabbed by farmer father the creeper has only one and half leg but when it was hung it has two legs this was quite curious

@@michaelcribb7205 he likely built the bumpers, made it fast and fashioned the traps. But the truck and box probably were from the 40s. And certainly he must have had more primitive transportation. If you didn’t see it yet, check this latest video out. It talks a lot about that ver thought.

@@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck that makes sense and I meant part 3 on the skull mace I found that interesting but it was never really explained I thought it was some kind of other monster like the creeper I thought derrys belly button tattoo on the throwing star in part 2 id really hope to see Trish and possibly taggerts son after the ending of part 3 that would of been a nice touch teaming up to hunt the creeper
That would have been a nice touch. The skull mace doesn’t really have much backstory at this point. It was more than likely a victim or multiple victims. It was probably human but with other things morphed to it like he does.
I dont know if this was a movie mistake or not but when the creeper chases darry and Trish after watching him at the church dump the bodies then they go back to the church and darry falls in the pipe the bodies he just put down there should've been right where he landed but they wasn't. Now that we know he can control his truck without being behind the wheel makes me wonder if he went down there moved the bodies then flew away before darry and Trish got there. Also it appears that the creeper was in the truck chasing them, because if you look closely you can see a outline of someone wearing a hat driving the truck unless I've imagined that for all these years😂
@@deputydog3137 two great points. Yes the bodies should have been right below the pipe. But if he can move his truck without touching it he might have moved the bodies away from where they fell. But not sure why he would. That point has always bothered us also and is in real life just an overbite in the movie. As for the chase yes he is in there after he dumps the bodies. But wouldn’t it be interesting if he was at the church the first time while the truck came up behind them? It was two different attacks. One honking and the other ramming. 🤔

Pretty involved. We were the first to read the script. Spitballed some scripting ideas, helped in prep, provided the original truck, got to drive the truck during some of the filming and we participated as extras.

What if during those 23 years he walks around as a man? I mean think about it, you have to get parts, you have to get fuel, you have to have a place that you can keep all of your things for an extended period of time that no one is ever going to be visiting randomly. Best way to do that? Take on the form of a human. The question then is does he go back to his human form, or take on the form of any victim he wishes?
It is very interesting and we love this thought. But there are some limitations that are hard to get around. He has to return to the ground for 23 more years. And he can’t feed for 23 years. Man would most likely have to. But we believe he is basically awake for those 23 years and much like your theory he can accomplish all the things he needs to do.

It is a funny story. The director wasn’t planning on a sequel so the trucks were sold for scrap metal after filming. Seems ridiculous. So when 2 came about the couldn’t find the trucks, and the director isn’t a car enthusiast so he really didn’t care. He went without the trucks and that was one of the biggest fan complaints from the second movie. Everyone wanted tbe truck to return. And rightly so they basically made a character out of it I. The first.
