When the creeper, who is badly damaged and missing limbs, powers down to hibernate for 23 years, do you a) Cut his body into pieces, throw those pieces into a wood chipper, mix the resulting paste in with cement to form a heavy block, drive that block out to the coast and dump it over the side of a boat into the depths of the ocean b) Reassemble him, hang his repaired body on a wall, arm yourself with a weapon you know to be ineffective against him, and wait for him to reawaken OBVIOUSLY you'd go with option b. Duh.

I think the theory that a human is being used as a puppet by an alien parasite organism on the back of the neck (and the back) is pretty interesting, and works perfectly with the lost head scene in Jeepers Creepers 2.
It turns out that all 3 movies are taken place in 2001 because Kenny and Darla Disappeared in 1978, the same year that the comic is taken place in. The opening of the comic where the Creeper lost his hand was the same part in the 3rd movie and it happened in 1978. Each movie is based on the days Jeepers Creepers (Day 1-2) Jeepers Creepers 3 (Day 2-5) Jeepers Creepers 2 (Day 22-23)
I believe the creeper makes his weapons out of his own body parts, not his victims. I think that's how he has such a high level of control over their accuracy and movements. Similarly to his severed body parts staying under his control.
Plus, with the way it can repair its own body from the bodies of its victims, it can just replenish the parts it uses during any of its killing sprees. So it doesn't have to worry about running out of parts. In fact, maybe it actually uses parts of itself that it's forced to discard due to them being damaged. Lose your hand? No problem, just fashion the fingers into knives and use them to harvest a new one! That is terrifying and badass.
Yeah I first had the idea this might be the case when the van was shown to have semi autonomous nature in part three I think. The kids on the dirt bikes. That and strength of the things like the spear that shot out, obviously it was a large bone like a femur, but that still doesn't explain how it was nearly indestructible.
@@Texass117 that's true, but we know he took longs character with him at the end to consume an unknown amount of him. We also see the creeper retain traits from what he eats, like the eye color. I don't know how his tools would be as unearthly durable if they were just made from human bone.
The creeper is just a basic demon. I can't remember the name of his species but Buffy the vampire Slayer actually had his kind on the show. They can regenerate as much as they want depending on how much they eat. All you have to do is keep killing them over and over again until they run out or just set them on fire. Notice how no one thought to use a damn flamethrower in the movies?
notice none of them had an m134 gatling gun either probably because like the flame thrower you can't just buy it in a convenience store or find it in a tool box.
It’s interesting that the Creeper was both at the Roanoke colony’s disappearance and Centralia’s cole mine fire. The latter is the inspiration for the Silent Hill saga.
I had a nightmare of the creeper chasing me after the first time I've seen Jeepers Creepers. No matter where I went the creepy old creeper was there, grinning, and smiling with it's sharp teeth glaring way more menacing anything the movie could
Yeah I kind of remind me the Mayan death bat God in the comics he trying to like represented the Quetzalcoatl The Feathered Serpent God is Wayne's is not fettered
The director actually released the unused script for jeepers creepers 3 Cathedral. Apparently the creeper is a demonic phoenix. And if you burn the body it will just make the creeper stronger. It has the ability to manifest itself from its ashes.
Centralia is also a historic occurrence. It is a virtually abandoned town in Pennsylvania that has a coal mine fire burning underneath it that has been going since 1962. This town was also a part of the inspiration for the town of Silent Hill.
What if u buried the creeper in a tomb made of concrete and strong steel? What if u trapped him, would he starve and die if he cant feed to replenish his organs?
You mean the creeper that started to pick up a car while flying or the creeper that busts through walls or the creeper that rips the tops off of cars? Yeah it aint stoppin him.
Idk it actually might. You would have to chop up its body parts. I case them in liquid metal, then drop them in different parts of the ocean. You could also chop up the pieces then grind them up.
It can't die that normal way. As stated in the first movie It has eaten too many hearts. Yes the cut It into pieces and scatter them may work but you know in horror movies some dumb ass will come across the head and the parasite thing will attach itself to him and boom a brand new Creeper with a brand new body.
While I do love the creeper and the stories( comics and movies) that surround him. I have to truly say, I seriously am waiting for him to finally get killed. Like, I mean its all fun and cool that he is this bad ass force but sometimes he has to take an L. Great Vid Glow!
My younger sister and cousin usually like to think I resemble the jeepers creepers monster, when I crunch my face together and make a face like his when he's squinting his face. The nose bridge and features of his face not demonic or anything but the way the skin crunches and squinted when mad or scaring humans. Love it the way it looks.
Theory: The thing behind the creepers head is what controlling the body since it covers the creepers face when it sleeps and the only way to kill it is by destroying the thing
I've always wondered if the Creeper was some sort of cursed human. The church he used as his base of operations seemed to really tie into him somehow. It was, after all, where he kept his resting place and constructed the macabre museum from days gone by.
Someone in the comments believe the Creeper is Cain from the region tales, the son of Adam and Eve, and the first murderer. So it possible in this universe, God thought marking Cain wasn't enough and cursed Cain to roam the earth for eternity, forever hungry since he could not farm and will hunt anyone unfortunate enough to encounter him
@@awhispertoascreamcryptidsp4810 i know, that would be a very interesting origin story for the Creeper and how he was able to exist for this long. I didn't think it could be cain but after reading the person's comment I think I could actually see this being the origin of the creeper since there's somewhat a link between the two
Sort of thought the same. I thought it was a fallen angel who possessed a human and basically kill, eat, and maybe even sacrifice people like in the old testament. It could also explain why he chose a church as his hiding spot and why all the bodies they found underneath kind of resembled the sistine chapel.
The Creeper sounds like an ancient wendigo with those director's lines said. Either that or a creature based on the wendigo. Wendigos are Native American monsters about humans who had cannibalized and were cursed to become creatures who'd be forever hungry. It'd make sense that the Creeper is a somewhat intelligent wendigo that learned to hibernate so as to not become overwhelmed by hunger, but still needs to eat after a hibernation period. Although the things that defeat it are the inhuman appearance and appendages along with a broad look. Wendigos are supposed to be bone thin and pale-skinned, but legends can vary over time.

I loved how the creeper looked in 2 it was my childhood horror movie that came on the tv while I was alone in the house. From the creepers blacked out smokey look with his dark long black coat to his pointy chin this thing sent chills down my spine every time I saw him, I would fear cornfields for years to come after watching the movie ( I still do ) it disappointed me how they made him look in the later films when they revealed too much of him too soon, it destroyed the mystery factor remember how he looked when he was dumping bodies in the well in part 1 this will forever be my favorite horror movie character despite its later films
So the part where it’s missing a hand is that the opening scene from JC3? Where after he sleeps for 23 years he gets the guy who had his missing hand hidden?
what a twist would it be if the creeper was a fallen angel and the next movie was a story of how he was a beautiful angel in heaven and his evil ways got him cast out of heaven down to earth to be ugly and cursed to use black magic to survive but he started to eat humans because god loves them so much
Good stuff! I remember watching your 100 win streak on Fighters Destiny to unlock Joker. I always wondered what the Creeper is, this however doesn’t touch base on its origins. But I like how it is present in a lot of cultures
When I was a kid and saw the first movie, this creature traumatized me specially when I saw the scene where the creeper is eating a man inside a jail, I even had an extremely bad dream about him.. In my dream it was night and I remember running outside the street in so much fear, then while I was running I saw the sky and there he was flying with his big wings and then when i managed to hide in a house, he then suddenly appeared and started to attack me but the worst and most creepy part was that I actually FELT pain in the dream while he was eating me, I’ll never forget that because I thought your not supposed to fell pain in a dream, so when I woke up I was scared for real because I couldn’t believe the sensation of feeling pain due to his bites.

Each movie is based on the days
Jeepers Creepers (Day 1-2)
Jeepers Creepers 3 (Day 2-5)
Jeepers Creepers 2 (Day 22-23)
I was excited to see this in the middle of the night.
I regret it
Yea just made the same mistake here also. Yikes alert.
I believe the creeper makes his weapons out of his own body parts, not his victims. I think that's how he has such a high level of control over their accuracy and movements. Similarly to his severed body parts staying under his control.
Dope-ass theory!
Jeepers Creepers 2 shows one weapon with the rose tattoo from Justin long in the first one
Weren't they the brother hood of 7 the one that dunmy was trying to kill?
@@animefan2454 no I remember that episode but no. They honestly played it down like a random kill it wasn't even a major villain.
Notice how no one in any movie was in any position to use a flame thrower nor had one.
notice none of them had an m134 gatling gun either probably because like the flame thrower you can't just buy it in a convenience store or find it in a tool box.
@@xcd87 it's a God damn movie. Leonardo DiCaprio had one in OUATIH and that was random as fuck too
It’s interesting that the Creeper was both at the Roanoke colony’s disappearance and Centralia’s cole mine fire. The latter is the inspiration for the Silent Hill saga.
"she don't smell too good dariussss"
But I bet Darius's dirty underwear stash smells good don't it 😉😂

What would be better, is Jeepers creepers vs pumpkin head
FINALLY. I always felt like I didn’t know what to be afraid of really and finally a video to explain it makes it so much better.
I always thought the creeper as a kind of Gargoyle sort of. But that was always just my opinion. Always liked the mystique and originality of him.
"JEEPERS IT'S THE CREEPER!"
And not the scooby doo creeper either!!!
@@kiryuplayz Or The Creeper dc comic
Wrong Creeper.
Where'd you get those peepers
@@jillcardza7180 Where'd you get those eyes
He’s connected to all his victims. He uses peace’s of body parts on his weapons, that is why he is connected to his weapons.
Just watched number 2 for the first time in years didn’t realise it was derrys belly button on the sharp tool thing
I had a nightmare of the creeper chasing me after the first time I've seen Jeepers Creepers. No matter where I went the creepy old creeper was there, grinning, and smiling with it's sharp teeth glaring way more menacing anything the movie could
"I've come for my children" is a particularly creepy line considering the writer/director of the film...
Uh yea cause the director loves little... well yea he nasty.
Makes me think the creeper was also gonna be a rapist
The creeper deserves way more credit as a horror icon.
this should have been jeepers creepers 3
Parts of it kind was u can tell by the visions part the kid had when the creeper ate him and he kept coming to his mom in dreams
You know what? I think it would be pretty cool if the Creeper was actually Camazotz, the deadly God of Bats.
Mind giving a little more info on this bat god
Yeah I kind of remind me the Mayan death bat God in the comics he trying to like represented the Quetzalcoatl The Feathered Serpent God is Wayne's is not fettered

@@crow_g1639 😂🤣😂🤣😂
I feel like they could do a pretty good story as the Creeper actually being Cain. And he was cursed for killing Abel.
Oooooo I like this idea
"Jeepers Creepers: Mark Of Cain"
He was Cursed the Most high Cursed em
That sounds cool.
The director actually released the unused script for jeepers creepers 3 Cathedral. Apparently the creeper is a demonic phoenix. And if you burn the body it will just make the creeper stronger. It has the ability to manifest itself from its ashes.
Please direct me to a link or can you Dm it on reddit? I wanna read it soo bad.
i read that script also
Where is this scrip at ,? Is there a RUclips video on it
could you do more of these mythical characters that can be tied to real world myth and mythology
That would be cool
@@calvinlitt4253 reinforced concrete and steel like whats used in bunkers
@@armandowillem3694 i think the lady didnt mean it literally, i think its just an influence the creeper had on her to increase fear into his victims
While I do love the creeper and the stories( comics and movies) that surround him. I have to truly say, I seriously am waiting for him to finally get killed. Like, I mean its all fun and cool that he is this bad ass force but sometimes he has to take an L. Great Vid Glow!
Talion The.Ranger the farmer did beat him
@@oshura2506 Not enough, we need a modern Van Helsing to kill him completely
Is the second movie a joke to you
I can be a Bounty hunter of a sort due to the Alien looking skull in the 3rd movie in his truck.
Theory:
The thing behind the creepers head is what controlling the body since it covers the creepers face when it sleeps and the only way to kill it is by destroying the thing
Every 23 years he rises, and the last time he was seen was back in the summer of 1997 and 23 years later its 2020
2020 is not done with is yet
Stoppppp omg I’m scared
Second movie is 2001which is the last so its 2024
None of us are in Florida tho
hes like a vampire whos daytime last for years
I've always wondered if the Creeper was some sort of cursed human. The church he used as his base of operations seemed to really tie into him somehow. It was, after all, where he kept his resting place and constructed the macabre museum from days gone by.
Someone in the comments believe the Creeper is Cain from the region tales, the son of Adam and Eve, and the first murderer.
So it possible in this universe, God thought marking Cain wasn't enough and cursed Cain to roam the earth for eternity, forever hungry since he could not farm and will hunt anyone unfortunate enough to encounter him
@@BanishedSilentShadow3318 You know, I would be completely okay if that were his true origin right there.
@@awhispertoascreamcryptidsp4810 i know, that would be a very interesting origin story for the Creeper and how he was able to exist for this long.
I didn't think it could be cain but after reading the person's comment I think I could actually see this being the origin of the creeper since there's somewhat a link between the two
@@BanishedSilentShadow3318 I could see it. It's not too far a stretch so it would really make a lot of sense and add a great deal to the character.
The movies have been ruined for me. I loved the first movie as a kid, but the director would also have loved me as a kid.
S B thank you for seeing yourself out.
💀💀💀
You play to much 🤣
I think he deserve a spot on Resident Evil or Mortal Kombat.
The Creeper vs the Winchesters.
That would be a very interesting story.
Yess
7:49 Well I guess we finally got the answer that was at the back of our heads since the first movie; the Creeper's Sexual Orientation.
You are the absolute best at telling science fiction and fantasy media lores Mr Carlos! You always go indepth in story and make it so intriguing and enjoyable! Thank you sir you rock!👍
I wonder how a fight between the Creeper and Jason would look like since they're both seemingly immortal and unnkillable
The creeper would own jason as it can fly and you seen how fast it can fly in the movies it smashed the bus apart.
But Jason practilly invulnerable.
Notorious B.I.G that movie is non canton so your point is invalid
@Notorious B.I.G I dont recall Freddie Raping him was that a deleted scene or something?
@@carguy1697 It's actually canon.
They need to make a movie with the creeper in medieval times. It will be awesome to see a band of Knights going out to hunt would they would call a gargoyle.
That wouldve been Cathedral
Every-time I see the Creeper, i can’t help but hear “Tron Cat”. Fits him well.
I've been waiting for some type of lore/backstory for the creeper
Amazing video as always Carlos !!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Centralia Pennsylvania burned from beneath due to the fire that never extinguished in the coal mine. Kinda cool they used "the town that was" for the creeper story.
I wish there were more lore about the creeper ever since the 2nd movie when I was a boy, I always wanted to know about it or the Demon, so interesting,
I had a dream about the creeper flying down and grabbing me and what was even scarier was I wasn't afraid at all and it took me anyway. I woke up terrified 😂😂😂😂😂
I always got the feeling it originated somewhere in Europe then travelled to the Americas at some point in the distant past.
What if Pumpkin Head was summoned to battle The Creeper?
What if a Predator targeted him for a hunt?
What if he was teleported to the Xenomorphs' homeworld?
Freddy vs Jason vs Creeper
By far the most extensive video I've seen having to do with the creeper. I haven't seen anything that's even come close to this one. Excellent video it did exactly what I was hoping it would do.
Add dude to MK11.... A flying reptilian regenerating dragon demon with shuriken, blades and other weapons
@Prototype1o1 Nah, that would be one of his victory scenes/poses.
That concept of him being once a man that fell into a curse or spell, is very interesting.
Jeepers Creepers VS Pumpkin Head! Best crossover since AVP
Jeepers creepers set in like the 1500s medieval times would be absolutely scary. If the movie kinda played out like “The Witch” (2015)
So the creeper was appear to myth and Legend throughout history and mythology well then explain where the hell he actually came from OSI will explore they give us another comic book or Explorer to an movie I do find a creeper fascinating as a character Pumpkinhead Jeepers Creepers got their own kind of books and they look really nice and shake that one of those
Well, thank you very much, Carlos, I'm completely finished with Jeepers Creepers series. I didn't hate the series, I just don't wanna support Victor Salva. So, thanks for finally revealing what this fucking thing is, an Ancient Mesoamerican God or a Wraith...sums up my theories and I can finally wash my hands of this series.
It adds another layer of horror knowing the Creeper could molest you
Lol
You're gay
Damn... I didn’t know jeepers creepers ran this deep. I know as a kid JC2 scared the hell out of me.
Nobody throughout history thought about throwing this thing into a volcano.
So the part where it’s missing a hand is that the opening scene from JC3? Where after he sleeps for 23 years he gets the guy who had his missing hand hidden?
You cant tell me its not now
He’s gorgeous. I feel very connected to the creeper. Thanks for making this.
what a twist would it be if the creeper was a fallen angel and the next movie was a story of how he was a beautiful angel in heaven and his evil ways got him cast out of heaven down to earth to be ugly and cursed to use black magic to survive but he started to eat humans because god loves them so much
Been waiting for a video like this for years
Finally this has been driving me crazy since the 3rd movie🤣
So the creeper essentially created the inspiration for Silent Hill, which is based on Centralia, a city literally burning underground.
"the boy got scared" so did RUclips it went to an ad 😂🤣
Good stuff! I remember watching your 100 win streak on Fighters Destiny to unlock Joker. I always wondered what the Creeper is, this however doesn’t touch base on its origins. But I like how it is present in a lot of cultures
Why hasn't Hollywood tried remaking pumpkin head? I'd love to see that remade with today's CGI
I had a bad dream of him too when I was younger. He chased me in the park broad daylight
This mans going deeper then any jeepers I’ve creepered, an that...ya that’s a keeper I roam around with sleepers to peep my peepers
When the creature registered his truck what name did he use and what name is on the title of his truck!!!??
I'm reading the comic panels and dialogues from right to left only to realize I'm not reading a manga😅😅

I saw a different video on this and the dude assumed it was an Alien that's WAAY too sci-fi for this series that has always been a lot more mystical.

Thanks for watching
I hope they do another movie where they finally tell us what the creeper is. I think we were supposed to get it in the 3rd one but apparently they pulled out at the last min (the characters learn about it from grabbing it's cut off hand. But the movie doesn't show us what they see/hear)
It's better to leave the creeper's origins in the dark. It shatters the mystique of the creature.
