I think it is simpler than that. The creeper only seems to be in a rush in the second and third films, and even then, he still took his time. Remember, whatever it eats becomes a part of it. Just like the people melds and learns of the creeper and his abilities, the creeper more than likely can see and learn any gifts and / or skills it needs from his victims. Like after he eats the tongue of the cop and then speaks to darry at the cat lady house
Very interesting theory 🤔. I love those movies and. The Creeper is my favorite movie monster. I have had theories about him. But I never thought about what you pointed out. I just assumed he would go into hibernation when his time was up. I never thought about the possibility. That he was awake but couldn't do anything until his 23 years of hibernation was up. But has you pointed out he might not be sleeping. This has given me a lot to think about. Thanks for the interesting video about the Creeper.
@ lol no personal budget. It was what we restored it with and why Salva wanted to use it for the third. Although they don’t like loud vehicles. It evidently messes with their sound. 🤟
This is a very interesting theory you brought up. I haven't seen part 3 but there is a preview here on YT it basically reenacts the 1st scene of the 1st movie when barry and his sister see the creeper dump the body in the tube, except it was an older couple driving a 60's station wagon. The creeper was not driving his truck I think it was a van but it had the beatingu license plate on it. They didn't show much of the creeper but he looked more human. Ok about your theory, it is very interesting But, this is not meant to be a smart ass remark ok? If that theroy is true which does kind of make sense, then the creeper would have to have a well equipped shop with electrical. It would be interesting to find out that he did have a shop we get to learn a bit more of him. Thanks for bringing this up.
@@jasonduke3608 we are thankful for your comment! Yes it is interesting. We believe the preview you have seen is for 4, which is horrible. Different looking truck and creeper. I think the Creeper takes in the knowledge of those he consumes. So he is capable of building anything if he consumes the right people . Forgive me if you already covered this, Im new to the channel and enjoying every bit😊 but have you ever explored the significance of the number 23 in the Creeper universe?
@@lynettepatrice2600 at this point the director denies its origin is of any importance but we believe otherwise and will certainly do content on that when enough compelling information is available! There has to be a reason. Everything Victor writes it with purpose and loaded with hidden meaning.
So I finished watching this vid last night and the theories are fascinating. If it's speculated that Creeper doesn't sleep for 23 years straight and that he most likely lives underground during his cycles, how long does he actually sleep?
It seems like with the Creeper even though he's certainly built alot of stuff it seems like compared to alot of stuff the Creeper built I think that building a whole truck from scratch without industrial factory technology would have taken alot more trouble and effort then anything else he ever built from scratch.Even though the creeper could have possibly built a whole truck from scratch I don't think he would have wanted to go through all that trouble.
@@GaryNac ya definitely. It is a 41 Chevrolet. The director originally liked the thought of him building his truck. But it doesn’t make sense. Agreed!👍
For 23 days, he gets to eat. Does that mean that he eats every day for 23 days, one day out of the 23, or just whenever he needs a new bodypart or organ? Going back to your theory on him possibly not having enough time, if he only eats one day out of 23, then that gives him time for his arts and crafts lol. The movies takes place in one day, so maybe he spends 22 days preparing the traps, weapons, body wall art etc., then eats on the 23rd day which is why he's always in a hurry because dormancy is coming. Maybe he's just an artsy guy who just so happens to use humans as materials, and he has to kill them to use their bodies. Naturally, humans will fight back, injuring him in the process. So he has to eat to regenerate. Just a random thought lol
Interesting. It is a good thought but he spends a lot of time with each victim. Not sure he to thoroughly feed in the course of a single day. Darry took 3 days from being taken to being used. But it is a good thought.
Here's a cool theory concerning Jack Taggart & his family. Is it possible that the Creeper took & killed Jack's youngest son Billy not because it was hungry but because of a personal vendetta that he has against the Taggart bloodline? It's possible that the Creeper has been running into the Taggart bloodline for centuries & each ancestor has proven to be the Creeper's greatest adversaries. This feud between the Creeper & the Taggarts could go back centuries if not thousands of years. The Creeper doesn't kill off the entire family bloodline for two reasons. 1. He doesn't have time to. 2. He wants to continue to torment the Taggarts for always interfering & hunting him and he enjoys the constant conflict between him & the Taggarts. Just my thoughts tho. I just enjoy the idea that the Creeper & Jack Taggart have a deeper connection that stenches back across time.
I wouldn't call replacing his head to be a shapeshifting feat. It immediately becomes part of him. A sort of wendigo INSPIRED creature makes some sense, he found semi immortality after eating someone. In a cut scene, he can mimick voices IIRC. Or it may even be in JP2. Edit: In fact, i think he speaks with the voice and accent of the police officer he ate the tounge of in that deleted scene. (ignoring that we didnæt see him eat his voice box) even regardless, he's speaking with a southern accent, which has a huge implication either way. I believe it absolutley can speak and mimick human voices. I believe he did in one of the movies not including the deleted JP1 scene. It just doesn't....Need to.
@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck Yeah it's just that he can, and also mimic others voices IIRC. He should never speak. He was hilarious in 2, yet he was silent 🤫

Question. Who’s Ralph Cordero? There was lettering on the driver side door with a persons name on it. I guess when the truck was brand new before the creeper took as his truck, it would’ve said: Ralph Cordero’s delivery service?

@@aidendillion9 we don’t believe he hibernates. Nothing says he does. He runs out of time and his body shuts down. But Minxie tells us that it must return back into the ground for 23 more years.
I think he made the truck how he wanted it , again a metal worker , he put the cow grill an bumpers and made the box for all his tools and weapons , and to carry the dead
He could handle the skill side of it. The beeline that runs down the side makes us think the body of the truck came from a factory (fictionally) but he surely made it what he wants and maybe even the box.
We are glad you’re here. Yes we believe it goes by ‘the creepers truck’. Both of these trucks are screen used and original to Jeepers creepers. The truck on this channel was also used in Jeepers 3.
Where was the Creeper during the 23 years his crucified body was pinned to the Taggert’s barn? And yes, I'm sure the Creeper a mechanic (my mechanic’s been eating me, or rather, my wallet for years). The Creeper doesn't use firearms, even tho he could conceivably reload his own rounds with bullets of his own making. It's possible there are some things he's not permitted to do, or that there are restrictions, or bounds, that even he isn't allowed to cross. A vampire has its cross, and it can't pass over running water. Superman has his Kryptonite, but what are some of the things the Creeper are vulnerable to? When Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden, GOD said the serpent could bruise man's heel, but that man would have the power to crush the serpent's head. So there has to be some weakness the Creeper has that it doesn't want people to know about. The two greatest lines were each spoken by Trish, and both in the same place and each within just minutes of one another. The first, of course, was at the old church, when Darry’s about to go down the chute. The first is, of course, “You know the part in all those scary movies when someone does something really stupid and everyone hates them for it? Well, this is it!” The second one is when Darry, in the House of Pain, tells Trish that they need to leave immediately, to which Trish says, “No, let’s stay and feed the birds!” Horror and comedy, mixed, is far more effective than just horror alone. Any other favorite lines?
@@johnroberts6695 this is a great thought. Is there an object or substance that the Creeper can’t tolerate!? Those are great quotes. One of our favorites: Darry to Trish: “hello bum fu@# police were being followed by a guy that likes to pull tongues out of severed heads, is there a special extension for that?” 🤣🤣
If he were underground he would either need someone to be driving the truck to keep it running or he was just huffing exhaust fumes on a dyno. Even if he winterized the truck to store, vehicle components rot much sooner than 23 years that would require massive repairs and parts before it would be in running condition, and hed have to do that before every feeding. He either is out and turning wrenches or someone is helping him. Its just not mechanically possible. No disrespect, just sayin, i worked on cars in an old 1950s built garage old garage in a small Appalachian town all through high school and college then four years after that. This truck would have fit in on the lot.
Yes. I do believe he is busy during those 23 years and because of his head enclosure he cannot eat BUT he can see as if he's wearing a kanye mask of sorts. I hate to be negative but the whole super truck thing is terrible and I wish it never became apart of the lore just like the last two films. *SHRUG*
We appreciate this comment. And the headpiece idea is interesting. And we get some people don’t like the truck having traps. But it makes perfect sense. It wields the Creeper which is the point. We’d love to make our own vehicle with a bunch of weapons on it. Why wouldn’t a super villain like all of the super villains before him, given the resources and time, not put weapons and traps on his vehicle? Let alone the fear it can generate.
So we can infer he most likely lives those 23 years in an abandoned mine somewhere, it would give him ample space to work and store the truck as well as hide things he doesn't want seen.
This is what we think. And keep in mind we’re dealing with pretty powerful forces of some kind. So the cavern would not necessarily need to be man-made and abandoned. It could be created by the Creeper or by whatever entity controls him.
@@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truckthat is true he's been around for a very long time he could've just found a natural cavern or or one was created to suit him. I think he mainly used the church as an outpost of sorts. Being it takes place in Florida I'd say his main home is in the Everglades somewhere which could account for some of the water damage to the truck.
@@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck I'm not so sure it's actually underground though, it's rust looks more like surface rust from sitting in a field, if it were underground there should be more pitting and I wouldn't expect to see as much paint as clearly but I would say the truck actually looks to be very minimal rust for a 60 year old truck at the time. Then again I'm from Ohio and we already have rotted 2023 cars so different climate different rust patterns.
Well if it were underground it wouldn’t be buried. It would be in the cavern. So it would likely have some moisture but maybe not pitting. But we always imagined it was underground because of the vertical water streaks down the sides. Sorta looks like water could almost drip on it in certain places over time.
In my opinion the theory of him working on his truck during the 23 years of down time wouldnt work.. in the 2nd movie he is so weak and skinny at the end of the 23yrs when he is about to start up again so he would not be strong enough to do all that work to the truck. He has to hibernate for the 23 yrs and then be so starving that he just goes wild when he is able to choose victims! Just my thought😊
Good point. But why couldn’t he keep it up. Would t all have to be done at the end. And how could he possibly get everything he gets done in 23 days every 23 years? Carvings, tables, lair(s) truck and traps, weapons. Seems harder to believe this all gets done while he’s out hurrying to feed. But it’s just a theory. 🤟
@@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck lol you are 100% correct, i have no explanation how he would get all the modifications done to the truck in just 23 days while hurrying to feed lol...i havent thought that far ahead yet lol.

@@GabrielHamilton-k7o ok ok. Relax. lol. The truck has powers but the powers it has really stem from the Creepers powers. The truck can move, seemingly on its own and release traps. But as for the weapons, the Creeper can move things with his mind using telekinesis or a similar power. We saw this when he pulled his axe back to him, when Jack was holding the dagger and yes, the spear.

It is true, you feel helpless. It was a 1960 Chevrolet impala. Probably had a six cylinder. But even if it had a V8 the truck would have caught it.

Glad you enjoyed it. And it isn’t the only theory we want to present. Maybe we can look at that question more closely soon. 👍

Does The Creeper Go To DMV? Jeepers Creepers plates #licenseplate #Creepersplates #BEATNGU
ruclips.net/video/5WjTcYsZeEc/видео.html
@@creepycody8480 this is a great theory. Or maybe it killed his father. That seems to be a popular theme.

@@NuevoExistence we would agree with this. But he is more creepy without speech we believe. Search makes him seem more human.

Question. Who’s Ralph Cordero? There was lettering on the driver side door with a persons name on it. I guess when the truck was brand new before the creeper took as his truck, it would’ve said: Ralph Cordero’s delivery service?

Perhaps a video on how he protects his truck? Because the truck would be made of metal. Good creativity tho. Shoot us another idea-
@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck You mean protect the truck from the elements?
I think he made the truck how he wanted it , again a metal worker , he put the cow grill an bumpers and made the box for all his tools and weapons , and to carry the dead
He could handle the skill side of it. The beeline that runs down the side makes us think the body of the truck came from a factory (fictionally) but he surely made it what he wants and maybe even the box.

@@Princess_Celestia_ truck 1 and the truck used in the Flytrap vid.
Well, this is it!” The second one is when Darry, in the House of Pain, tells Trish that they need to leave immediately, to which Trish says, “No, let’s stay and feed the birds!”
Horror and comedy, mixed, is far more effective than just horror alone.
Any other favorite lines?
@@johnroberts6695 this is a great thought. Is there an object or substance that the Creeper can’t tolerate!? Those are great quotes. @The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck already watched it and it didn't even mention it
If he were underground he would either need someone to be driving the truck to keep it running or he was just huffing exhaust fumes on a dyno.
Well in the 3rd film the car drove on its own. So maybe it took itself for a drive 😂
Dairy said it’s suped up or something in the movie when getting chased
Right you are. Forgot about that.
With the truck and the type of truck , and all the tools he has made , he is a or was a metal worker , welder , or blacksmith
Definitely. We’d like to think he could do these things himself but it is wild to think he may gain the knowledge of his victims.
@@boa2143658709 absolutely. And being underground which we assume it is would account for rusting to happen faster too.
I think the creeper can eat Brains and gain the knowledge of the person just like a limb. This is how he knows how to build engines etc.

He has to hibernate for the 23 yrs and then be so starving that he just goes wild when he is able to choose victims! Just my thought😊
