- Welcome to the complete story of Final Fantasy III, the last of the Nintendo Famicom Final Fantasy games, and the first Final Fantasy game to feature a job system, allowing players to switch between classes mid-game, making for one epic adventure, and lots of different gameplay options to explore. The game has received both a 3D remake and a Pixel remaster but this video will explore the story of the good old pixels, making it more faithful to the original. Not that there’s anything wrong with the 3D remake, and who knows, maybe we’ll make a video about that version as well someday. But for now, let's explain the story of Final Fantasy III.

You guys are the best. Have you thought about doing theory videos? Like theories about pieces of the story? (In any final fantasy) this is seriously one of my favorite channels I can't believe I just found it!
I like this idea. There is plenty of open ended storytelling in Final Fantasy.
We did a theory video about 16 a while back and we also have a lore/theory video about the Al-Bhed language. We're not the biggest theory crafters but it's definitely on the table to make more!

No mention of the ability to summon Bahamut, Leviathan, Shiva, Odin is crazy but loved the video!. I'm playing through all the games for the first time and I always watch these videos after as a refresher!

Already started replaying it to get the footage! Although the Steam version kept crashing at a specific point so I put it on hold for a while. Will return sooner rather than later to continue working on it!

if there is a Cloud of Darkness, does it mean Cloud of Light also exist?
They at least mention a flood of light in the Village of the ancients, although it isn't personified in the same way as the Cloud of Darkness.

@@BirdsOfPlay i have a theory that necron is actually the cloud of light per se. Both cod and necron wants to turn everything nothing. Both boss is in a crystal realm. Ff3 protagonists sort of went to the dark world to fight cod. While in ff9, everything was bright so thay was probably the realm of the cloud of light.
Both series didn't really mention who the final battle was until thr very end. Both in 3 and 9, u will need the help of others in order to finally defeat the final boss. (I think).
I forgot most of the details in stories but ur narrations kinda gave me that idea. Just an idea tho haha

Building up from the first opus and steering off from the most controversial aspect of the 2nd entry. It s very Classical but in a good way. I prefer time plot of 1st and political aspect of 2nd but detail story (quest etc..) is more evolved/improved than FF1. Gameplay wise the innovation of job changing is a game changer (specially for the future of the series).
The ff3 I played was ff6 lol. Just got the pixel remasters...

This is, by far, the most forgettable Final Fantasy game in my opinion. It's not bad, per say, it's just that the game very rarely was brought to the USA. 1 and 2 were offered in compilations. 4 was remade several times. 5 gave us Gilgamesh while 6 gave us Kefka. From there, 7 made Final Fantasy mainstream in the west. 3 is often overlooked due to that.
