This is awesome. I am so excited on taking the courses as a first step. Which do you like selling most ? Between life and Medicare ? I guess which is a easier “SELL”? It seems like as a newbie starting out, health insurance /Medicare might be easier to sell rather than Life. What are your thoughts surrounding this !?? So I do have another question, are you familiar with property and casualty insurance ? Do you sell that also and if so do you have videos on that?

    • @KinkyStyles1980
      @KinkyStyles1980  3 года назад +7

      Medicare/Health is easier to sell than Life. Medicare isn't selling its education and helping your clients to understand how Medicare works and helping them choose the best option for their health needs. I dont do property and casualty. I keep it simple.

    • @KinkyStyles1980
      @KinkyStyles1980  3 года назад +4

      Some FMO's or IMO's (Independent Marketing organization) do charge fees. I would stay away from those companies, Unless the fees go towards licensing, a start up website site, etc. Just to join in my opinion you shouldn't have to pay a joining fee.They get a cut from the insurance companies to guide you so why pay them; You can Google different companies and ask questions. Maybe I'll do a video on questions to ask. Are you fully vested from day, etc? You can also go under a upline. An upline works under a FMO as well like myself and they are willing to take an agent under their wing.

      Selling Medicare Supplements alone all depends on your target demographic. If they can't afford the plan then it will be a harder sell plus they will need a Drug plan as well so you will need to work that out if you don't sell drug plans. If you work in a high cost living area then selling Medicare Supplements are great. You can sell face to face or over the phone that depends on your tragedy and your personality.

    Why can't you cut out the FMO and contract with various insurance companies directly to sell their products? Does the law require it? I failed to grasp what the FMO is doing for you that you can't do yourself. i.e. The word "support" is kinda vague. And if you're new, you haven't proven to the FMO that you can 'produce' either, and they don't really know you anyway. It sounds like you're using the FMO as a job reference. ALL insurance companies operate that way? You can't just contact with them yourself as in independent sole proprietor?

    • @KinkyStyles1980

  • @tallchicknvegas

    This is not all true. I'm not even 3 minutes in yet and can't watch anymore. Captive agents represent one company, Allstate, State Farm, Farmers. You do not work for the company anymore, those contracts are long gone. YOU DO BUY LEADS, YOU ARE ON COMMISSION. Brokers have many companies they represent, therefore, can provide multiple auto quotes, versus just 1 quote from 1 company, like captive agents. I just watched another video where you show deposits. $20,000 in 2 months is not realistic for a new agent. Please learn before doing videos. Please don't mislead people, even if on accident. Know what you are talking about. Why give advice and you are brand new anyway? C'mon, girl. I've been in the industry 30 years.

    • @MayaDTV

      You sound IGNORANT! You watched a video for 3 Minutes and didn't even listen to the entire video before you made these comments! I am a licensed Agent and I PERSONALLY CAN STATE AS A NEW AGENT ITS VERY EASY TO MAKE $10,000 A MONTH $20,000 IN TWO MONTHS. IF YOUR ARE SELLING LIFE AND HEALTH! Just because You didn't do that doesn't mean its Hard maybe your NOT Ambitious!!! All my Team Members OUT the door are Set up to Make 10,000 a month when they first start Its not Hard!! I NEVER PURCHASED LEADS EITHER!! DO BETTER RAMONA!

      YOU'VE BEEN IN THE BUSINESS 30 YEARS AND YOU HAVE TO BUY LEADS? WOW, YOU REALLY DONT HAVE ANY FRIENDS OR CONTACTS DO YOU? YOU SEEM SO NEGATIVE THATS WHY YOU HAVE TO BUY LEADS! You have to pay people to work with you! Sorry to hear that. Glad I don't have that Negative spirit like you I never had to buy any Leads I just Network for all my business 😂
