my goodness! Normally in van conversions like these, the first thing anyone would forgo is a place to shower. I for one cannot miss a shower, maybe b'cos I live near the equator. This conversion is one of the more creative small van conversions I've seen. Not only do they have a shower, they even have a bath!! Dang!! That is very cool, your little swimming pool rocks!!
This is one of my two favorite van builds in the whole entire world. Just absolutely stunningly gorgeous and very smart especially with the shower.

I love their shower idea! Leaves more room for moving around in the van and when not in use can all be folded up and put away! I also like that you can easily see how much water you have left. It’s beautifully done in a light wood that still looks natural ❤️❤️❤️
Yes, the little dog swimming pool! I came across these recently with an internet search. I saw the idea of shower curtain in the middle of the van about 100 van-build videos ago and this is only the second time that I have seen it, but it makes so much sense! Curtain goes away, doggie pool goes away ... I saw a smaller folding doggie bath with handles that you can lift up and dump outside, but might be too small for an adult to stand in to shower.
The indoor and outdoor shower is so simple yet so effective. The way the kitchen is behind the driver seat frees up the back wall for an entertainment/work area -- awesome.

I'd love this van EXACTLY the way it is! I'd probably end up making a section of counter fold so I could get through there to the front seat for my mother's peace of mind, but I love this just the way it is!
I have watched a ton of van conversion videos and this van is so incredibly well thought out and so nicely done. I have never seen so much go into a van but the fact they also made it look so much bigger than a lot of builds is astonishing. Hats off to them for figuring out how to install a full kitchen into their van AND figuring out how to make an indoor shower function!

Holy moly! This is the best setup that I have seen for space. Sometimes you have to sacrifice to have access to driver seat to make more room in the van for the kitchen. What you have in there is a perfect setup. I like the idea of a sofa to a bed and the living room area to watch tv. Brilliant!
Your shower and table for six are innovative. From every van built we can learn so many new things. Remarkable!

If I ever had a van to love in, that's exactly how I imagined the shower. I've looked up little pools before but never saw that one, it was perfect for the job 👌

Outstanding!!! Altor and Laia did an absolutely brilliant job with the design and conversion of their van. It has all the functional necessities and look of an actual home. It's truly beautiful. And I love that wherever their travels take them they're always at home. That's true freedom. Again, outstanding!!!

What a creative indoor shower. I love it doesn’t take up space and you can fold it up and pack it away. That’s the first time I’ve seen a collapsible kiddy pool 👍

I like the shower. You might want to sew pockets into the shower curtain so you have places to put your shampoo and soap, maybe set up the floor itself as a shower pad or have one fold down from the wall or drawn out from under the cupboards or settee.

i think this is my favorite build to this day. there’s a couple things i’d do differently for my own van, but mostly, this layout is so functional. i like the indoor shower setup so that way it can be taken down, rather than permanently using valuable square footage. it feels very livable, like a true home

I love the aesthetic of their van! It's very very cool. It feels like little tiny rooms. When you're sitting on the couch watching tv, you see the living room with books and the entertainment center and the kitchen is adorable. Very cute.

One off the best setups I have seen so far
I like how they did the bed. I don't think I have ever see one set up this way. Nice idea gives you extra room to move around in the van. Nice job guys.
Definitely one of my favourite tiny living spaces, but I would personally upgrade to a newer, larger van, to make it last longer, and to build the shower and toilet at the rear.
Thank you so much!! for us it was important to be able to park in the same parking spaces as cars and we decided for the l2h2 because the butt wouldn't go out too much. Because we plan on living in it full time, it was important for us to fit everywhere and still have space inside to move, that's why for us the detachable shower is the best option. But it has to be comfortable as well to have everything ready for when you are tired hehe

I love it. I especially love the wood paneling and the Mason jars for food. I would do it with a larger van or a school bus. Just so I could have a built in shower and toilet. Those are two item cant live without.

Nice build, but must be heavy with all that wood. Wonder what kind of mileage they get. Really like when someone has a different layout - refreshing to see. Love that foldable dog pool for the indoor shower. I've never seen one like it. So much better than the little "washtubs" I've seen people use.
I did have to laugh at the "if you have a month to travel" comment near the end. I'm presuming she means time off from work. My government seems to think that two weeks a year is more than sufficient time off from work. Better than some countries, but still, pitiful in comparison to many of the European countries.
Best van reno I have seen yet. Looks perfect to me. It's functional and very airy and pretty with the wood and glass jars and plants etc. Happy travels.

Our tiny forests! we love to have a bit of nature inside as well! And the pool is great for the indoor showers whenever we find ourselves in cities or when it's too cold outside!

Excellent video tour and van build. I think blocking off cabin from cargo area definitely makes the nice kitchen area possible. I think I would want to build in some sort of access panel from inside cargo to cabin so if outside danger threatened then I could jump in driver's seat and leave without exiting the van to get in the front.
Thanks for the comment! We would have loved to have that access but our van came with a three seat bench that couldn't afford to change so there was no way we could access it from the back anyway... fingers crossed we don't have to make a danger scape!
Yes I hope you never have any worries and you travel together so you are not alone. I used to have a cargo van that I traveled in to jobs I worked on, that was before I retired. As a woman traveling alone I had several occasions that I had to get in the driver's seat and leave where I was parked due to feeling unsafe.
It's a bummer that things like this happen. Thanks for telling us about your experience! We'll always try to be as safe as possible :)

What is it like in the USA and Canada?
@@jantube358 I live in USA can say, I work pretty much 24/7 and those weekends I do get off...i don't do anything except relax because I'm so exhausted. I think that is why van life appeals so much to me and others in the USA. Not having to worry about paying rent and utilities takes away alot of the stress from work life and frees you up to actually "live".
@@lilianaroman8402 Oh yes I understand. And gas is cheap in the USA, too, so you don't have to worry about paying for gas. And car insurance is cheaper in the USA too I think. But you have vacations too right?

Honestly don't like sprinter builds. A lot of the time they just feel so over the top. This one isn't super over the top but it looks pretty much like every sprinter build on r/vandwellers, but this is the first one I've seen in a while with the kitchen against the driver and passenger seat which is neat. - Great cinematography though!
It's not a Sprinter, it's a Peugeot...All those vans over there look the same, like a Mercedes Sprinter!!
Thanks for your comment! Most van builds do look similar, but there is only so much you can do with the amount of space that you have. In our case, we decided on the Peugeot for its size considering we were going to live in it full time. Glad you liked our kitchen area! lots of love!

Love this build. I'm trying to get into the van life and this is one of the best and practical builds I've seen. Everything you need and smartly placed.
We love the outdoors but also enjoy spending time inside so we needed something functional but that didn't make us feel claustrophobic and we managed to do this layout so it works great for us! thanks a lot!
