- Come and have a look around our cabin on wheels that we've been living in for 3 years. It was a super low budget, eco van conversion that cost us only £1300 as we mainly used upcycled materials. We wanted our tiny home to feel like a fairytale treehouse where we could begin a nomadic, cottage core life.

We're Laura & Aaron and 3 years ago we set out looking for a simple life of freedom in nature. We didn't have any money but we managed to build this cabin on wheels out of scrap wood and drove until we reached the mountains. Ever since, we've spent our days exploring forests and meadows, and parking our little home out here, On The Wildside.

I think we all need to appreciate how efficient your storage system is and how you clearly defined and prioritised the most basic items required to just live. I would love to see more videos on how to lead a more minimalistic life!
I am so impressed with the homes, both stationary and mobile, that people are able to create with limited resources. I realize that not everyone has the lovely artistic talent that these young folk have, but there is an answer here for those down on their luck, or just looking for adventure. Big pots of cash are not always needed. Bless you both with safe travels and lovely scenery.

I have never seen anything like this and have no words...I am more than impressed, awesome! And if this was not enough then came the cockpit this ugly grey plastic cockpit and you completely transformed it by painting it cream !!! Two geniuses at work - love you both🥰for being who you are🥰
The attention to detail, creative choices, ethical intentions and promise of adventure resonate with me so strongly. Ever since I was little I've wanted a customised little adventuring van for myself so I feel emotional seeing it done so well and by such adorable human beans ^___^ I can't wait to see more
Edit: I forgot to say what I'd like to see in future! Loads of atmospheric shots of the scenic surroundings, cosy cups of tea, what the interior is like in a storm, mountain trails with the curly doggo, art, music, local wildlife and laughter
I would love to see more about how you guys forage safely as well as living outside the van such as hikes and where you go. I love your guy's videos so much and they inspire me to keep at it for my own van.

Inside access to the front
Inside toilet
Inside cooking with a ceiling exhaust fan
A small refrigerator
Other than those, I love it all!

2. Sharing the names of the thrift/second hand shops you find some of your treasures during your travels!
3. Go to guides on best and easiest places to travel to for van life, along with most challenging but rewarding / difficult not worth it etc. something like this would be awesome in a comprehensive video🌸🌻

I love your home on wheels. You've done a wonderful job on this and it reminds me of the free style living in the hippie era. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and this brings back so many memories of that time period. Everyone wanted to go back to the land but up in Northern Maine, USA we never left it.
