Today kicks off Day One of the 14-day Pilates series! Today we kick it off with CORE! Each day of the pilates workout series will have a different focus, including core, upper body, legs, glutes, full body, cardio, etc.

Today’s 20-minute pilates core workout will help build ab strength, as well as core stability and core support. After working our way through the 5 pilates “abdominal series” exercises, we’ll move through the Pilates Rollup exercises, and finish strong with plank!
Day one will get your core ready to support you through the next days in the series. You’ll need that core strength to help stabilize and power you through the pilates exercises for lower body, upper body, cardio, etc.
If you’re like me and don’t have the time or energy for full-hour workouts most days, there is no shame in that! When you focus on proper form and alignment, a 15-30 minute class is the perfect way to fit in a quick and effective workout. Doing pilates at home, or wherever you may be, is so accessible since all you need is a mat! This 20-minute pilates core workout is a perfect example.

I just completed the 5 day program. Challenging for me since im new to pilates. First time trying this. Is the 14 day program for beginners like me?
Hi Mary! First, welcome to pilates and congrats for completing the 5-day series! The 14-day program is suitable for beginners, and you may need to make some modifications for some of the exercises and workouts. There are a couple of cardio-type videos included in the program as well, so you could modify some of those exercises as well.
