Thank you so much about your helpful info regarding Orbit. I am trying it out and I must say. Its not easy as it looks, I have a much appreciation for the folks that make it look easy out on the field.
Thanks David! Glad you found it helpful. As with everything fpv, learning requires you to be 1. Practicing right 2. Careful review of what you're doing right and wrong 3. Lots of practice... As long as you keep those in mind I'm sure you'll be able to do it in no time! Good luck!
One thing I don't understand is that the sticks seem to be pointed the opposite way from where you are headed. For example at 3:25, the quad is moving to the left but the yaw and roll are both pointed to the right. How is the quad being propelled to the left if it is rolling to the right and yawing to the right?
I got the elliptical orbits down! Seriously, this is good timing. It's something I've been working on. Every once in a while I luck into a nice smooth round orbit.
He needs to show the examples with different pitch camera's, because the stick are gonna movements/positions are gonna look different. he said in a another video that 40 50 60 are quite common, start with those :) But still, its a good video thumbs up!
This channel should be getting much more attention. Quality content that is helpful and informative. I think it would be helpful to go over FPV racing setups, like rates, camera angle, FOV, not really flying, but the setup for successful flying. For example, I would say that lower rates, a moderate camera angle, and large FOV is necessary because it allows the pilot to "see" more. The moderate cam angle could be talked about because it allows for the pilot to see many different cam angles paired with the large FOV (45 degree can, 160 FOV for example). Maybe do something like this in velocidrone or even IRL.
Thanks lrfpv! Appreciate the kind words. It's slow to get visibility but hopefully with more quality content it'll slowly grow! =) as for your suggestions they're all great ideas. I do plan to do a setup guide on how to get a build setup for racing, tuning guides etc. Those are all in the cards so stay tuned! =)
I’m usually not bad with ladders but there’s a ladder at the end of the Sim Therapy W9 track that I just can’t nail - would love your next video to analyze that
Hey Joe! No problem. I'll take a look at that map to see if that ladder arrangement has anything specific to it. I'll be putting out the ladder video in the next few days!
OoOo, this is interesting. I've been thinking of doing race tutorials like this on my channel for my fellow student racers. Glad to see someone putting in the time to create this kind of content!
Hey styxenstones! Thanks for stopping by. The goal of the channel is to get more people into racing, I think fpv racing is incredibly fun so hopefully this helps! =) there's plenty more on the way that goes into more advanced topics as well.
@@DroneRacingAcademy I'd love to see it! I wrote out my start to race theory not too long ago for a handbook I'm putting together. I explained how I analyze each gate and how it could be approached and how stringing your options together forms your racing line. I'd love to see how you tackle the subject to see the other ways people approach race theory.
Great video brother! Thanks for breaking that down for us. Don’t forget to practice going the opposite direction. Looking forward to your ladder video 🤘🏼
You're welcome! Of course, both are added to the list. When you say powerloop do you mean a straight back powerloop? There's a corkscrew powerloop video in my channel. I can also do one for powerloops =)
@@DroneRacingAcademy specifically; on Velocidrone, 2019 MultiGO IO World Cup, how to get thru the gate before the dive and also MultiGP 2019 Championship, the gate before the 2nd dive.
On the 2019 IO World cup track did you mean the skygate -> the dive? As for the 2019 champs, that's a ladder before the dive. I'll have a video on that shortly :)
Amazing fpv shots my friend, keep going....

Nice! A good smooth orbit is very important building block for alot of other skills. Also it looks really cool from a cinematic perspective =)
Where is the ladder video bro 😁. Doesn’t matter I subbed. Hope you will continue to make How to. Great quality.
thank u!!
Thanks Mina! Appreciate you checking out the channel!
Thanks man. This has been a mystery to me (still is) but seeing your sticks and your explanation is helpful. I’m subscribed.
Hey Jack, hopefully it'll help you figure it out! Let me know if you still have trouble after some practice, happy to give more tips :)

Very cool! Yeah racing theory is super interesting. Would love to see what your conclusions are!

Thanks urodino! For sure practicing both directions is super important. I'm lopsided myself =P always a work in progress.
Thanks for the video. Gonna try the tips now.
May I request one for slaloms please? And maybe a power loop?

@@DroneRacingAcademy no pressure, it must be right for your audience tho
Very informative! I was just wondering how to do this at speed thank you 🙏🏼 . How a video about tips for learning/practice a new track ?
Hey z506fpv I'm glad that helped! A video on learning a new track is a great idea. I'll start brainstorming ideas on that and put that on the list =)
Excellence vídeo and excellent channel!! Always enjoy your videos and guidance!! Thanks!! Keep it up!!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Alex! Appreciate the continued support. =) stay safe and happy flying!
It's crazy how your sticks are to the right and the quad goes left
👍
