Suggestion. When you put a timing cover on a Ford, leave it a little loose, install the harmonic balancer, then tighten the timing cover. This way, the front seal is nicely centered around the balancer and is less likely to leak. I've been using mustang Steve s197 front brakes on my 67 cougar for years. I have the rear disc conversion but don't think I need it yet. Currently installing a 393 and a TKO 600. The stopping power is SO MUCH BETTER.! Thanks for your videos!

@@FollowTheBuilds I'm finishing up the brakes and then the exhaust. I put on some Jones full boar 2 chambers but I was not happy at all. I'm going for a full system. The video's coming soon. ;)

Enjoying the conversion to Fast Back build. I wanted to know when you were installing the axels into the new 9” rear could you have installed the brackets first and then the Axles with out having to cut them?

It’s recommend to install the brackets before the bearing. I didn’t want to go that route as Quick Performance axles we’re all complete when I received. You totally could do the brackets the way you suggested. Thanks!

@@FollowTheBuilds The brackets should not be cut, especially WHERE these were cut. Significant structural weakness will result from cutting them as shown. Install the brackets before the bearings, period.

@@FollowTheBuilds yeah man im in the same boat on my 67 LTD it came with factory 3.00 in a 9 inch but im planning on either a coyote or LS. I hear a lot of people like 3.73 so i might go with the 3.70 aswell. What made you stick go with the 3.70?
