You do an excellent job in showing your work and teaching. Anyone could follow this video and make a potholder. This will make any home more festive for Christmas. 🥰
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed this tutorial 😊🧶
Thanks, Amanda! Love this idea - simple and effective, and so useful!! This will be great for some easy Christmas gifts. Perfect! ❤🎄
You are so welcome! 😊
Another beautiful (and festive) hotpad! I love all of your hotpad/dishcloth patterns. Thank you for another beginner-friendly tutorial. You made learning the C2C pattern so much easier to understand. 😁
Thank you so much! I’m glad you found this helpful and easy to understand. The C2C pattern is a lot of fun 😊
Hi Amanda, thank you for another amazing Christmas hot Pad tutorial. I look forward to them! I loved learning the corner to corner technique. Thank you so much! 🎄❤️🎄
You’re welcome and thanks for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed learning this technique 😊🧶
I love corner to corner. Keep making these awesome videos. I would love to see some more dishcloth patterns and some more kitchen/bath patterns, in general. I just wanted you give you some feedback. When you film videos, can you please verbalize what loop you are going into when you are making stitches into the foundation chain/turning chains. Good job being so descriptive in this video and all your others. I've been recomending your channel to other blind clocheters like myself. I bet a granny square hot pad would look nice too. You should make a granny square dishcloth too. I am going to buy the crochet hooks you like and try them out. Keep up the great work. Good job being descriptive as always. Have a great day. :)
I’m glad you enjoyed this tutorial. The corner to corner is a lot of fun. I will do my best to remember to be more descriptive in future videos. Thanks for recommending my channel to others 😊🧶
I had a question about your sedge stitch dishcloth. When you are going into the foundation chain, am I correct in assuming you're going into the back bustps? I wasn't sure because you skip stitches along the first row in the pattern, and I'm wanting to do what looks neatest.
@@haleytyrrell9609 I do not go into the back loops for this stitch. I do in the top loop of the chain. However if you want to go into the back bump, you can certainly do that as well.
Thank you!🙏👍🏻
You’re welcome!
I just made 2 of these hot pads and they’re so pretty. I did change the border up a little bit. I used Lipstick Red, Olive, and White fundamental cotton yarn (Yarn Bee) and the colors are so striking together. Thank you for this tutorial.
You’re very welcome! Sounds like some very pretty colors 😊
Thank you for sharing. I have never used this stitch on anything, about time I did. Wonderful.
You’re welcome! Hope you enjoy the results!
I’m going to have to make these to match your christmas afghan that I’m making. ❤😊Donna
Oh that sounds like a great idea!!
That's a good idea. It might be nice to make these in different colors for different times of year. I think doing a hot pad in this fashion is coel. I've made C2C dishcloths before, but this will probably be my next project.
@@haleytyrrell9609 good idea to try in different colors! I may do the same for the different seasons.
These would be a great Christmas gift.
Agreed! 🧶
Thanks Amanda what a pretty hot pad love the Christmas colours 💗
Thank you!
Thank you for the tutorial, I needed to make some hot pads.
You’re welcome 😊 great timing!
Never made corner to corner. Started on one years ago but pulled it out. SO I'm going to do the hot pad. Thanks❤❤❤
You’re very welcome! I hope you enjoying making one 😊
I have wanted to try c2c but couldn't get the increase or decrease part down. I think I will be able to get it with your tutorial. Thanks!!
I'm with you. This pattern is a keeper.
Thank you!
Oh I’m so glad to hear that! 😊
I love that and can do that for any holiday. Could do this for a blanket by chance?
Yes, you can use this same technique for a blanket. I’ve made a few corner to corner blankets 😊🧶

These are adorable. If I wanted it for a dishcloth, would I not double it? Kinda an odd question. 😂
Thank you! I actually was thinking about making this a dishcloth, so yes, you totally could! Just don’t double it like you mentioned. 😊🧶
@@AmandaCrochets thank you for your quick response. I’ll put this on my to do list. Would make great Christmas gifts for friends with a bottle of liquid kitchen soap. ❤️🎄
Amanda even has a C2C dishcloth pattern on her channel. You should check it out.

Won’t that burn your fingers, if you slip your hands in a hole
This is meant to rest hot pans or dishes on to not damage your countertops or tables. I don’t suggest grabbing something out of the oven with these 😊
