I've just learned recently that ear infections can be associated with perimenopause. I'm dealing with the same thing at 45.
I have read about that as well! The timing makes sense for me since it just started within the last couple of years. My ears are always either really "wet" or dry. It's driving me nuts!!!!!

Headed to town today to buy some calm so I can maybe sleep! Haha….will stop at ulta to see what new lipglosses they have, maybe I’ll get lucky? Wish they carried more like Sephora. I have been loving the new true botanicals shine and protect hair cream oil that I picked up, along with that gloss moderne mask, and the drmtlgy eye masks that some sweet human gifted me😬….as for makeup, I’m still in the throws of painting so it’s naked face. Glad that infection is gone! Itchy ears can be a minor yeast infection. Try a clotrimazole cream (normally used elsewhere for other yeast issues) - I have had success using it in my ears when the itch reappears over the decades. Congratulations to Stella!
My favourites lately are Ilia Tinted serum, Hourglass Arch brow and Hourglass Unlocked mini mascara for a fast pulled together look. I haven’t been doing much else- a little powder foundation to set it and lipstick for a quick finish.

I'll be doing some yard work Sat. before the 90s come in on Sunday, ugh. I am interested in the Sydney Grace eye shadows but see that a lot of colors I like are sold out. Will have to check back.

Hi Melanie. Have you tried Dossier Aquatic Vanilla? I am so hooked on it and didn’t even expect to be! It’s a dupe for Juliette has a gun Vanilla Vibes. Which also has a strong fresh coconut smell to it!
I have kept adding that to my cart with a couple of companies (it's a popular duped scent) but never actually checking out with it lol. I NEED to try it!
So our kids are in the same grade, mine is a band nerd and he is in the percussion and he is going about an hour and a half away on Sunday for a week to go to band camp. Insert one time at band camp I’ve been saying that ever since I signed him up to go. he is very excited. I wish he took the path of Stella and did chorus. I grew up singing and still sing like all the dang time #CertifiedSwiftyAnywaysHe’sSuperExcitedI’mExcitedForHimBecauseHeWillBeAtEastCarolinaUniversity, which is one of the big colleges in North Carolina.
Oh my goodness. I can't believe you guys are just getting out of school. Meanwhile, we're two weeks into summer school with only two weeks to go. School starts at the beginning of August for us. 🙄 That is a beautiful blush. I need to try the micro dermabrasion scrub for flaky days. Have you tried the Olehenriksen lip balms? They're fantastic! I have the same Summer Fridays one, but the Olehenriksen one is a thicker texture which I prefer.
Oh I know. I can't believe how early you guys have to go back lol. Its still so hot here in August and our schools are not built with air conditioning lol. Its actually a big problem because even going back in September can be tough since temps can still be in the 90s. Most schools here were built long before global warming really started heating up temps and we are not prepared lol. Retrofitting the schools is so expensive and we just don't have the budget for it.

The recent fear of manual exfoliation is asinine. People just get on trends and like to jump on board to vilify something. I used to ask every elderly woman who had amazing skin, but never had the skin care options we now have, what they used/did through the years. Every one always had the same answer...use the roughest washcloth you have to wash your face every day. They were just exfoliating regularly, and the results were terrific, keeping their skin beautiful and young before they even had the products we have today.
It is interesting how opposed people are to manual exfoliation these days. I see benefits to both myself. I am a lot more gentle now but sometimes there is just nothing better than a good scrub! I am much more aggressive with exfoliating my body and I can tell you that this is a MUST for me because I swear it keeps my skin so much softer on my body!
