    This is why I love you Melanie, you’re so damn relatable. My peach fuzz became more visible in my 40s as well so it’s not uncommon to hear my husband in the bathroom saying, “Come on , let’s shave our faces together” 😂😂😂 I use his razor as well.

    Melanie says “ You’re not going to grow a thick LUSCIOUS Beard!” Thank you for your humor I’m always laughing throughout your video and I really needed that! Perimenopause… YUP HATE IT! I get annoying little whiskers on my chin I always pluck, and annoying bit of peach fuzz on my upper lip. But I love this exfoliation with the razor!
    Hope ur appointment went ok friend.❤❤❤❤ I got pretty crappy blood work results last week, not fun. Hope 50s are better! 🤞🏼

    I commend your bravery! Thank you for helping to remove some of the stigmatism surrounding some very common issues that women deal with! I have struggled with polycystic ovary syndrome since my 20's. One of the side effects of PCOS is facial hair, particularly on the chin. It's not fun but part of life and women shouldn't feel ashamed or less feminine. 💜

      Oh absolutely! I don't want anyone to feel alone or like there is something wrong with them. It's just life. Sometimes things change and sometimes you have to pivot and try new things to feel like yourself again. No need to be ashamed! Proud to be a new member of the Dollar Shave Club lol!

    You are so awesome. 😊 I’m 46 and have been dermaplaning for about a year or two now. I started out with the Tinkle razors, but Billie recently came out with a dermaplane razor with disposable razor cartridges and I love them. I also use the Honest Beauty facial oil to shave with.

    Thank you for this Melanie! Your honesty is just refreshing. I love how you are just yourself in every video! I am in the my 30s and my peach fuzz has been bugging me over the past year so I started using those tinkle razors but find that they are not the best, so I am definitely going to try shaving my face with a razor!

    Hi Melanie I have been shaving my face for about eight years and also started in perimenopause (another thing that the hormones do to us😢). I don’t use anything fancy - just my cleanser for slip and a standard razor. I tried specific shaving creams etc, but my cleaners worked just as well for me tbh. I get more exfoliating using the “tinkle” type things than I do from a wet shave but also less irritation from the wet shave which suits my rosacea better (another gift of menopause 😂). My makeup looks so much better and I don’t mind doing it as it’s quick/easy for me. Best wishes x

    Praying you get good results from your ta-ta visit. I have been shaving a couple of years now and tried every device known to man. DO NOT try the Dermaflash! It feels and performs horribly ! I finally invested in the Michael Todd Sonicsmooth on a fantastic sale at Ulta and it is the absolute BEST thing I've ever tried to remove the peach fuzz.

I use the electronic razors but they do leave my skin dryer and rough. My peach fuzz turned into a full thin beard. It was so embarrassing. The first time i shaved i felt like a girl again ❤ what a great video.

    Oh my gosh, when I was younger I felt the same way about my slight peach fuzz. I thought it was sweet, angelic, kind of a like a newborn baby's peach fuzz. I felt like no one could really see it but me. WELL, menopause changed all that, as it started coming in thicker and not as blonde! LOL Luv this new tip with regular razor & gel. Will try, perhaps with the door locked. ;-)) THANKS ~*~*~*~*~*~*

    Oh how lovely it is when perimenopause hits and our hormones go ape shit 😅. I remember when I found my first chin hair looking in my cars rear view mirror. I literal shouted out “what the actually F*^k?!” 😩. I’ve been using Tinkle razors for years but I may just try this method! I don’t scroll socials much so I’m not aware of what’s happening; did you enticing a lump? I hope that everything is ok 🫶🏼💖🤗

    • @MrKongsMom

      Oh hormones are so fun! Mine are currently going nuts and I have been trying to get on HRT to level things out. Obviously a mammogram before was a thing, I'm 45 anyway so it was more than time. I had a breast reduction years ago and it resulted in a lot of scar tissue. They found a "lump" in my mammogram which is in all likelihood scar tissue from the reduction. I am fighting with insurance for a biopsy but they would rather have me get ultrasounds every 6 months to follow it for 2 years. And until the 2 years is done my current doc is not willing to really put me on HRT "just in case". Every radiologist says its scar tissue but my doc is cautious. I am looking for a new doc who is a bit more aggressive at treating perimenopause but the wait lists are kind of wild lol. If I at ALL thought it was cancer, obviously I would suffer through and just truck along but in my heart I know its scar tissue. I have a ton from the surgery. Its a poop show lol. But here I am shaving my face on the internets...

      @@MrKongsMom oh my that’s a lot to go through! It’s so hard to find a good dr who is educated in menopause and peri. Mine isn’t and blew off my questions on hrt and said o didn’t need it if I was still getting periods and talk to her when I have gone without for a year 😳. Mind you I’m 50! Ugh. Sounds like scar tissue is indeed the culprit but I’m glad it’s being kept watch over. Hugs to you and let the face shaving commence! 🙌🤗💖

    • @Faithb73
      @Faithb73 Месяц назад

      Yes! My friend uses it and still has her period. I used it and had a hysterectomy. Progesterone cream is wonderful! Get a usp progesterone otc and use it from days 14-28th of your cycle. If no cycle you can use continuously. Emerita makes a great one . Also life Flo. The pump is good for not dipping in to a jar and gives the proper amount of 20mg per 1/4 tsp. If you need more, I highly recommend BHRT naturals. I am finally on script from dr. but I always tell womens to advocate for themselves if a dr won’t prescribe and progesterone is one of the safest hormones you can use (and the one we lose the earliest) and you do not need a prescription.

    You think your 40's are humbling? I will be 62 next weekend, and 11 years past menopause I'm dealing with much more than peach fuzz. Stray eyebrows are a sadly common thing. At least the dark ones are easy to see; the wiry white dog whiskery ones can frequently get to be half an inch long before I discover them 😭 Usually in the car's rearview mirror, which is why I have tweezers that live in the SUV. I remember years ago watching my mom shave her face and swearing that I would NEVER. 🤪 Mother Nature has taught me my lesson.
