If there is one thing I've noticed about Korean audiences, is they love kicking their actors/stars when they're down JUST AS MUCH as they love heaping praise when they're up. At times I feel like Netizens specifically build people up in anticipation of tearing them down later. The first chick was wrong for having a DUI but the way they harped on it was abnormal, the public seemed to relish in her humiliation. As for the second guy- am I the only one who noticed that his company did NOT drop him for his multiple sexual allegations, yet the drug charge was what got him banned? Korea cares more about drug culture and its image than it does its own women! As for the divorced couple, even in her own text messages the wife revealed that she was being spiteful, but -per usual, the public was just happy to get to judge people whom they perceived to be "better" than them. It's such a toxic public culture with celebrities, in the US we let celebs get away with to much in SK (for certain things) their celebs have no breathing room because of this faux "moral high ground".
I just started watching Korean dramas on Netflix & noticed how fickle/petty Netizens can really get when it comes to celebrities. I was totally disgusted by the way Lee Sun-kyun was publicly humiliated & bullied by not only the media and the prosecutor but also by the majority of Netizens.
I would watch anything that Ahn Jae Hyun played in. He’s one of my favorite male actors. I think it’s terrible how the netitizens have treated him in Korea. Let him be to make a film career and be famous.

Sae Ron case is a bit difficult because she now has more controversies due to her “publicity decisions.” It also wasn’t mentioned enough that the area where she DUI have a lot of school and since it’s a weekday in the morning there is possibility she might hit someone. She is very lucky she didn’t. Otherwise I don’t think there will even a talk of her come back. But after that she also did a lot of unnecessary decisions like uploading her staged part time job. And it’s very frowned upon when you still fight so hard to receive low sentences after you did something like DUI in Korea. Yes, they expect you to just accept the sentence. She also got caught playing poker (in the gambling pub- which wasn’t illegal) and drinking after the scandal. I don’t think it really matters if she doesn’t have prior scandal. But she did many questionable decisions after the scandal. I think her career as a child actor maybe influenced her mental health. She has received many love but also hate and jealousy since such a young age. Her mom also doesn’t seem like a good guide. It was said her mom is also pretty and always wanted to be a celebrity but got pregnant before anything ever happened. So she kind of always wanted her children to be a celebrity if she can’t. One of them (Sae Ron) do become famous. So, I do feel compassion and sorry for her in a way, but she is an adult now, and I think people surrounding her wasn’t good. They keep uploading and revealing her questionable actions online.

I know I’m an outsider, but an outsider looking in and seeing the injustice on your own people, you guys judge your own people crucify your own people. I know some of you will say it’s none of my business, but you have access to the Internet you can see other countries and what people go through in the everyday lives you guys have to forgive they are human beings like me and you they make mistake. We all make mistake you not God to judge people, God forgive you for the sins you have done and you don’t even see God, but you see them, give people a chance they just have a job on TV. Do not give them a chance let them make mistake. Let them learn from the mistake. God if one person could hear my story one person can listen and understand life will be much much better give them a chance.

I loved Sae Ron In the movie man from nowhere she was an awesome actor in that movie, I'm glad she survived the accident, and hope she will be able to continue an acting career.
Sae Ron case is a bit difficult because she now has more controversies due to her “publicity decisions.” It also wasn’t mentioned enough that the area where she DUI have a lot of school and since it’s a weekday in the morning there is possibility she might hit someone. She is very lucky she didn’t. Otherwise I don’t think there will even a talk of her come back.
But after that she also did a lot of unnecessary decisions like uploading her staged part time job. And it’s very frowned upon when you still fight so hard to receive low sentences after you did something like DUI in Korea. Yes, they expect you to just accept the sentence. She also got caught playing poker (in the gambling pub- which wasn’t illegal) and drinking after the scandal. I don’t think it really matters if she doesn’t have prior scandal. But she did many questionable decisions after the scandal.
I think her career as a child actor maybe influenced her mental health. She has received many love but also hate and jealousy since such a young age. Her mom also doesn’t seem like a good guide. It was said her mom is also pretty and always wanted to be a celebrity but got pregnant before anything ever happened. So she kind of always wanted her children to be a celebrity if she can’t. One of them (Sae Ron) do become famous. So, I do feel compassion and sorry for her in a way, but she is an adult now, and I think people surrounding her wasn’t good. They keep uploading and revealing her questionable actions online.
