It very much matters who built the Parliament and what it represents. If you have no idea about symbols and representations perhaps you haven't yet grasped the importance of a National Flag for a Nation. Of course the Parliament being built by Indians using wealth generated here with symbols representing India's spiritual culture and history with a traditional ceremonial inaugration *IS A BIG AND SYMBOLIC CHANGE.* Whether you like it or not. Proud to be a Bharatiya. First time since 76 years, *Bharat is getting worldwide recognition as a force for Good and Positive Change while it's civilization is being celebrated internationally.* If we don't celebrate this the we are not Indians sorry to say. NO OTHER COUNTRY WILL NOT CELEBRATE THEIR HISTORY AND SUCCESSES. INCREASINGLY WITH COMMENTS LIKE THIS IT SEEMS INDIANS HAVE BECOME COMPLETELY SUBSERVIENT TO COLONIAL IDEAS AND THOUGHT PROCESSES. Here in uk there was talk, probably never going to happen but moving more government related activities to the north of england as we have a south north divide and supposed levelling up plan here to try to alleviate issues.
We already have devolved government in the four nations within the uk well more 3 because by default westminster is in england and so represent uk governance

This new parliament comes under central vista project where every department will come together in an area which will be connected by underground metro

@@jordanbrown7403 its politics played by both sides, but new parliament was necessary, it problem put into discussion much before the present govt. Opposition have problem with parliament being inaugurated by Modi.
Modi being a showoff will not back off in these situations, but he get things done quickly. In 2 years he made it possible.

Opposition problem is Modi himself, they tried to resist his growth from his early political carrier when he was a CM of his state, they tried to out him. But his comeback as a PM was quite an event and won consecutively 2 times. Now the congress opposition can't win against him single Handedly as BJP become the single largest party by a great margin in India, probably the largest party in the world right now. With this the problem raise by opposition on democracy, which is quite reasonable considering there is not a single party to oppose BJP singlehandedly. The opposition with around several parties constantly pull eachothers leg everytime, unless they stop their infighting they can't win over Modi. Currently they are successful in uniting 19 of them to boycott the inauguration ceremony.
I think the main problem with India is too much political parties 😅
INC rule 65 years in india but never build a parliament, they has no shame to use British parliament. But under 7 year Modi not only build parliament but also build india from scratch. ❤

The new parliament has a larger seating capacity but seats will be given by updated population sensus this will make many states which have controlled there population in the past loose more seates in the parliament.
