India may soon be getting a new Parliament building if the Modi govt gets it way. But what is the need for building a whole new parliament? In this video I explain the concept of delimitation, drawing of constituencies and its history of how the number of Lok Sabha MPs in the Parliament would need to be increased. I also explain the positives and the negatives of the planned 20,000 crore central vista project. Why are people criticising it and why has the Supreme Court halted its construction?

1)See old parliament is a historic marvel so we can convert it to a museum No one said that they are going to demolish it.
2) Ignoring earthquake issue can be a big mistake. Suppose if our parliament get damage by Earthquake then it will be a big humiliation for us.
3)Old parliament is made by Britishers so how we can sit there and discuss about atmanirbhar bharat.
4)We are in top 5 economies in the world so i don't think 2.5 billion dollars is a very big amount for us.
5) As a proud citizen of india i think New parliament design is of great significance and reflecting our culture.
It is a good decision to make a new parliament.
