I can confirm this works! Did 1401 replacement and then it works now. Without original remote i cannot set it up with wifi but ethernet works. Thank you so much for instruction man!
Thank you for your video. I tried using a multimeter to see which chip is not working. But both chips show 0.001 value on the VIN pin and the boot pin shows 0.024. Both chip. Can you tell me what kind of problem it is? I checked the power cable and it works fine.
Greetings, I changed the integrated one now it turns on, I connect it to the phone's Bluetooth, it synchronizes but it does not play the sound on the cornet, if you can help me I would appreciate it
Hi - there is not that i am aware of - but the service manual does offer two other components to replace to prevent it from happening again, i just did not do it here, maybe in a future video.
Hello again Mick, I have a question to ask you. You stated in the first part of this 2 part video that the output voltage on the U1501 mosfet was 3.6 volts and the output voltage on the U1401 mosfet was 4.6 volts. Both mosfets have the same part number. Why and or how do they have different output voltages ? I tested my unit and found the output pin on mosfet U1501 was shorted to ground. I want to be certain I am ordering the correct replacement part. Thank you for your help in advance.
So I would have to look back at the circuit schematic to understand that fully but you should be fine with the same part number. It could be they are configured slightly differently
@@mickfixesjunk I would be lying if I said I completely understand how if they are the same part number and have the same input voltage that the output would some how be different. Then again I’m not electrical engineer and it all kinda seems like witchcraft to me but, I will have faith that you know better and thank you for your help again. Cheers !
Sure it is this chip. www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/595-TPS54335ADDAR You should be sure this is the problem first. it is possible that other components can fail that are further upstream of this one such as www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/512-FCD7N60TM and www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/595-UCC28630D
@@mickfixesjunk Thank you for that. I ordered the parts and ended up replacing the mosfet 3 times (comfortable with SMD rework now) before I realized I am now missing the blue "resistor" bottom left of U1401 (dead center in the video at ruclips.net/video/bnGMT3WfVdM/видео.html). Is that orderable too? would you know what resistance value?
@@mickfixesjunkcan you please show how to diagnose the power board. Replaced the mosfet in this vid and FCD7N60TM on the power board but I’m still not getting any voltage at the mosfets.

First, thank you for your knowledge and your help, you may have just saved me a bunch of money. Second, that was extremely painful to watch. 😅
Glad I could help
Hi, very helpful video. Question do you think this repair is doable just with a soldering iron ? Or I do need a hot air gun too?

Great video ! is there a higher rated dc regulator to replace U401 which might prevent the issue re occurring?

thanks very good the video ,I have a soundtouch 300 with the same damege and thanks you video I could repair
Great to hear!

can you link the mosfet ? I'm new to soldering and this would be a bit of a learning challenge :)

@@sammyji awesome so glad it worked for you! It’s a great feeling when it finally boots up!
@@sammyjioh dear yes you can find that resistor value for sure. You can search Bose SoundTouch 300 schematic to find it or I will post back here

Replaced TPS 54335A (shorted) ...test fire Oh Its Great and my Soundbar works again...$8.99 dollar parts.
Woohoo!
Yay!
