Credit to apple for making the m1 pro such a beast with amazing battery life. Literally no reason for me to upgrade for a good few years. Reminds me of the apple 15inch retina days c.2012
Legend. Just got an M2 Pro, it’s my first MacBook and I’m really impressed. It flies through everything and the battery life is amazing, speakers and screen are second to none.
"I just gave away the conclusion at the beginning of this video" 😂😂😂 I love that you realized that as you were doing it. Good video! I'll be shopping for a M2.
Thanks for the honest comparison. A third option (which I chose) is a refurbished M1 Pro MBP 14. It lacks the overall power of the M3s, but it still delivers a lot of bang for the buck.
Great video, great tests, great explanation, great voice! You have a bright future with your channel - you already have a bright present I'd say. Thanks for sharing this, answered lots of my doubts.
Thanks for this video! Really well presented and informative. Personally, I like the silver over the space black, I feel like it looks more classic. Although you could say that silver is the light mode setting and space black is dark mode 😂 Highly appreciate all the effort that goes into making the videos ☺️
Just came across your video because I was deciding between the new M2 Pro and M2 Pro and you just helped me save so much money 😊! I’m going with the M2 Pro since I only do mostly CPU stuff no graphics. Great video btw. Love your style and humor. I just subscribed 🥰
Hey thanks for the review. I’m curious to know why the M3 Pro lasted longer on battery vs standard M3 considering they have almost identical battery sizes but the M3 pro would logically consume more power? I was considering to purchase the base M3 with 24GB as I assumed it would be the one with the longest battery life (closest to the original M1 13 inch) but your tests seems to show otherwise. Any ideas why? Thanks again
The Blender differences are most likely not caused by "dynamic caching" but by the support of M3's new raytracing capabilities. I guess you used Blender 4.0. OpenCL and Metal GPU tests differ not that much.
What is considered a CPU task vs GPU task? I am looking to purchase for photo editing in Lightroom and video editing either in FCP or Resolve. I’m not super concerned with export times but more speed while doing the editing. For example in Lightroom when I do the auto Denoise feature my current computer takes forever to complete this task.
watching this on my mbp m3 pro, and one of the main reasons I chose it over the m2 pro was the space black or space grey 2.0 lol I think it looks so slick compared to their OG silver
I couldn't afford either of them....but given my workload, even if could afford them I still wouldn't buy as any Pro model (even the M1 ones) would be super overkill for my needs. 🤷♀️
thanks for another great comparison, got my refurbished m2 pro today. Personally had to go towards m2 pro because the price to upgrade ssd, cores, rams, gpu to have the similar specs on m3 pro would cost 1k more than the refurbished m2 pro I got
Dayo, love your videos. While i enjoy the reviews, you’ll be destined for more. If you could do anything in the world, would it still be this or something different? Seth Godin says be remarkable so people talk about you and recommend you. For me, your videos are remarkable. I liked the m2 air 256gb vs 512gb video as well. This testimonial was sponsored by me.
14 inch MBP M3 Pro vs. Refurbished 16 inch MBP M2 Pro I have hard time to decide between brand new MacBook Pro M3 Pro 14 inch with 36GB RAM, 1TB SSD or Refurbished MacBook Pro M2 Pro 16 inch with 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD. Currently I am using MacBook Pro 16 inch late 2019 on Intel i9 with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD. So, I don’t have any issue with portability at all. The indecisive comes from the M2 Pro vs M3 chip and RAM difference between those 2 machines (36GB RAM on M3 Pro vs 32GB RAM on M2 Pro) Which one do you think has better value and better investment protection between brand new MacBook Pro M3 Pro 14 inch with 36GB RAM, 1TB SSD and Refurbished MacBook Pro M2 Pro 16 inch with 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD? I am not video editor or digital content creator or any graphic intensive users here but minimum 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD is a must 😂 Any valuable input is welcome. Thank you.🙏🏼
I want to buy a mac but i am confused i need it for studies mainly and some video and photo editing i dont want the high spec model i am confused which to buy do i buy the m3 ,m2 , or base m2 pro i want a mac that will be ok for every task for atleat next 3 years

I'll miss the days when nobody sponsors you, makes me chuckle every time
Me too. The day is coming

Your review was simple and straight to the point and honestly super refreshing! Keep it up man :D
Great video Day! Personally bought the upgraded m2 pro 14 inch a couple of weeks ago on sale and I'm definitely satisfied

Silver is nothing but class

I like your style of getting out the message on tech news. Keep up the great work
Nice!! Could you please do a ram stress test between base m2 pro 16gb vs base m3 pro 18gb?

Great video! You explained everything in a clear and concise manner. P.S. I couldn’t stop laughing at the thumbs up for the less GPU cores. 😆
Thanks, I like your way of delivering the information. Thanks again, this was helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Great video, subbed!
I’m thinking of getting the 2023 14 inch MacBook M2 Pro 16gb and 1T SSD. I have seen so many reviews already. 💯
Great well-presented video.

Anything image or video related will use the GPU

Very great outlook. thank you.
Curious what your thoughts are/would be on the Acer Aspire Vero (I have one and love it)

super funny ! great review
As of Sept 2024 Refurbished M2 pro $1300 at Microcenter or refurbished m3 pro $1500 at Best Buy? Need it for PS, LrC, Adobe Premier.

Those bloopers 😂
Sponsor made me like this.
I realized you sound like Obama, or maybe it's just the deep sound configuration from my M3 Pro.
good job
14 inch MBP M3 Pro vs. Refurbished 16 inch MBP M2 Pro

If they are the same price, the ram is honestly the least of your issue. You need to answer whether you want a big laptop or a small one
my first macbook the pro m3
Bro why no one testing the 16”??
MKBSD?
I want to buy a mac but i am confused i need it for studies mainly and some video and photo editing i dont want the high spec model i am confused which to buy do i buy the m3 ,m2 , or base m2 pro i want a mac that will be ok for every task for atleat next 3 years
14” M3 Pro Chip vs 16” M3 Pro chip ? I want the space black just can’t decide
My m3 pro have more cores than yours... so you have to mention for people that there are 2 versions of that chip.
First here
I got a close second 👍

Title is not correct.
Rookie mistake by me
I was finally the first one here
🥇
ports are not all the same m3 pro has hdmi 2.1 vs m2 pro cdmi 2.0
Could've sworn m2 pro and above use HDMI 2.1
@@DayoAworunse my mistake brother i was thinking about m1 you are correct apologies 🫣
