My parents won't let me do vegan but I pack my lunch as my school doesn't serve lunch so I pack vegan lunch and eat vegan breakfasts as often as I could, and if I go out I go to a vegan restaurant with friends.
Same, although our school has lunches so I finally convinced my mum to let me make my own meals when there's something with a lot of meat in the school lunch (I'm vegetarian),but she won't let me buy any milk substitute because ,,it's too expensive and doesn't taste good"
If you want an egg like taste for your scrambled tofu you should really try Kala Namak it's black salt and it has an egg like taste you don't need much of it. :)
if you add black salt to the tofu scramble it will taste like egg. luv the oatmeal and sushi ideas. Have tried the chick pea salad. it tastes like a mild chicken salad. really good. I luv your shirt
+Sara Farahani Good job! Remeber to eat enough! That is the number one mistake new vegans eat. Since vegan foods are usually lower calorie (more fiber, more water, less fat) you have to eat more food by weight to get the same amount of calories.
+Sara Farahani what did you eat and I thought I would have the same problem but I knew I had to eat to consume a lot of what I made and I eat a lot of rice to feel fuller
I just found your vids and I think they are what the world needs. Easy, delicious, fast and friendly! I'm 3 months vegetarian and you make going vegan look so much easier. Thanks!
I would love to read all the comments within the last 2 1/2 years. I am just watching this 2 1/2 years later and enjoying your videos. I am trying the chickpea snack with dry soy beans. Never used soy beans like this before. Tricks to beans that I can offer you in order to cut down on gas: 1. Add a small bit of baking soda to the soaking water (for dried beans, 1/2-1 tsp per cup of dry) AND the cooking water after you have rinsed the soaked beans. 2. Add a small bit of olive oil to the cooking water (not the soaking water. 3. Add raw garlic to the soaking water and it will give the beans a bit of garlicky flavor from the get-go. Loved the cauliflower wings and other ideas. Thanks!
I was subscribed from my old account, and after going from Vegetarian to Omnivore since January (when you made this), I decided I finally I would go Vegan as of the 3rd (this month & year). I am SO happy you made this video, showcase some recipes, etc! I don't regret going Vegan at ALL! Thank you again for being such an amazing person! Have a fantastic day!
How am I just now discovering your channel?! This video is just what I needed... I've been uninspired/ unmotivated with cooking lately so thank you for the simple yet delicious meal ideas!!
I'm only a vegetarian I plan on becoming a vegan in the future. I've been getting much more creative with food. ❤️ I definitely enjoy food much more nowadays

I am binge watching all of your videos right now because I really want to eat healthier and I love the way you put together such good simple stuff! Thank you so much!!! And if I make any of your recipes I will be sure to shout out your channel in my postings!
Keep watching videos and maybe pick up a recipe book or ebook and just play. It seems daunting at first but it can be pretty easy. I'm not a cook so I like watching videos to see how things are made but then I use the spices I like or my favorite veggies or beans instead of what is mentioned. I hope u stay Vegan : ))
Love all of the recipes on this channel! they all look delicious and the ones i've tried i loved! you really show all of those people who say veganism is "too expensive" that its really not! people think veganism is so complicated but its really not!
your channel name does you no justice, looks like you put a lot of effort in your videos and there are some good recipies here for newbies like myself. I like the channel and im glad i subbed.
+ChompsLewis haha yes, i do put lots of effort into my videos. my name mostly signifies that veganism can be easy and affordable :) thanks for watching and thank you for subbing!
The juice in the can of chickpeas is good for you ;) It's called aquafaba and it's a great egg replacer! You can use it to do meringues, mousse, whipped cream etc. Here are 2 links with recipes using the aquafaba: www.peta.org/living/food/vegan-aquafaba-recipes-egg-free/ www.vegansociety.com/whats-new/blog/13-amazing-things-you-can-do-aquafaba
Wonderful video! Thank you! I'm a new vegan ( have been a vegetarian for 15 + years ) and recently made the switch! Thank you for introducing more healthy options! I subbed!
I think your videos are amazing and so so helpful as I'm transitioning into veganism! The content and effort you put in is so appreciated by myself and I just wanted to thank you for being so genuine and awesome ☺️😘
Omg that vegan tuna salad is such a good idea, my favourite food at the moment is tuna salad and I'm scared to give it up, but I will definitely try this!
Yaas! Amazing video. I feel like all vegans have these staple meals. But this is a holy grail comprehensive video for beginner vegans. Looooove this. Gotta try the baked chick peas.
I can't believe I dont make these delicious recipes. I have all the ingredients (vegan 9years) weeeeeeee you always make me hungry. Thank you for sharing 🍀

hey I'm late but that chickpea can water is called aquafaba and it's magic! You can add sugar and whip it with a hand mixer to make vegan whipped cream
I like the Barilla jars they're very ornamental have a great design and there's signed they make great glassware and you can use them for home projects
I really enjoy all your videos. You are so sweet and so easy to listen too. So I would like it if you talked forever. Thanks for the inspiration. I made some delicious vegan baked beans this week and they were smokey barbecue goodness.
Allergic to peanuts :( With the water from the chickpeas you can make al lot of jummy things!! It is called aquafalba (I believe...) i made fluffy meringues With it!
If you're allergic to peanuts, try Wowbutter. It's a spread that's made from toasted soy beans and it tastes , looks and smells just like peanut butter!
I've lived in korea for two months (going back to my cousin try in two days ): ) and my diet is all fucked up and my vegetarian lifestyle as well... I do not want to know how often I accidentally ended up eating some sort of meat...... because I lived in a hotel I couldn't live out my passion for cooking that well ;; but once I'm back home I decided to go vegan for real now and your channel gave me inspiration for that :D I gained a bit of weight and started to hate myself again, so I'm hoping a proper lifestyle of cooking healthy meals plus going to my gym again, a good lifestyle diet and workout, will help me to start love myself again :) and a little side note, you're really beautiful! :)
I love the jar recycling, as I use my son's pasta jars for drinking glasses. Going to make some over night oats next, as I already have the jars for it.
I went vegan for veganuary and I'm loving it ❤ I'll have to go to back to eating dairy after because of my mum but when I go to uni in September I'll definitely go fully vegan 😄
I'm trying out a vegan diet during January and hoping to continue on with it afterwards as well. I had no idea veganuary was a thing. lol apparently I've been unwittingly participating. :) Thanks for all of your recipes! Its really been a huge help for ideas. The hardest part for me has been cooking new things. You know how you get into a a recipe rut? I was so there. Well, that and giving up cheese was/is HARD. It really has made me notice how addicted I am too dairy. I'm going to try out making some vegan cheeses very soon though. All totally worth it. :) I've already noticed a huge difference in my energy (so much more) and my skin is sooo much softer. Amazing! Looking forward to seeing what other beneficial changes happen. Anyway, happy veganuary!
+Rachel Morris Check out "Cooking with plants" on youtube. She has the best vegan cheese on youtube...oil free. Oil is really bad, any oil is nothing but fat. The best thing you can do on this diet is eat whole foods. Oil is processed. So instead of olive oil...eat the olive! People will try to tell you oil is not bad but they are just addicted and lazy which is the only explination for eating that crap!
+Larry Richelli Thank you I'll definitely check that out. I've been avoiding oils and refined sugars as much as possible. My one exception is Earth Balance butter which apparently is most comprised of mostly vegetable oil. :( Do you have a good recommendation for a different vegan butter or a recipe for a yummy one? Thanks in advance. :)
chickpea salad sndwich ( i add shredded carrots and veganaise), chili with corn, couscous (i add lots of steamed peas to it) and curry, and tofu veg stirfry, peanut sauce, all my faves too :}
Great video. I’m making the pancakes now as a late lunch😋 my scrambled tofu is done just like yours but I add Black Salt found in the Indian Market. It adds an eggy smell and taste! 👍
My parents won't let me do vegan but I pack my lunch as my school doesn't serve lunch so I pack vegan lunch and eat vegan breakfasts as often as I could, and if I go out I go to a vegan restaurant with friends.
Finally someone in the same situation as me!!
Same, although our school has lunches so I finally convinced my mum to let me make my own meals when there's something with a lot of meat in the school lunch (I'm vegetarian),but she won't let me buy any milk substitute because ,,it's too expensive and doesn't taste good"
I wish my son would follow your example of going vegan...his dad is a once in a while meat eater and so my son wants that too. Good for you!
I really like this. It's better to do what you can than do nothing
I HATE meat, i would have problems living with your parents
These recipes make me feel like it's actually possible for me to go vegan.
Do it man. Join da club
You CAN do it! Reach out if you want :)
Yeah what this person said : )
hope you do man!

If you want an egg like taste for your scrambled tofu you should really try Kala Namak it's black salt and it has an egg like taste you don't need much of it. :)

Notices Jimin and had to say hi 👋🏻
That's awesome that you reuse jars. Glass is the best thing to recycle/reuse.
Sushi burrito? I love you.
Also chickpea salad is good in a pita with some shredded carrots and cucumber and lots of lettuce and tomatoes.
if you add black salt to the tofu scramble it will taste like egg. luv the oatmeal and sushi ideas. Have tried the chick pea salad. it tastes like a mild chicken salad. really good. I luv your shirt
