Johnny Depp started going into story mode, and the defense let him go on a tangent for about 35 seconds before stopping him. I think that's completely reasonable. Going on tangents is a technique that can be used to deceive listeners, to divert their attention from certain details to others. I'm not saying that Johnny was intentionally deceiving them, but a tangent can generally have that effect, whether intended or not.

In 2015 I was a security guard at the Anaheim convention center posted at vip entrance. If we've learned anything as a society in the past however many days since the Oscars, it's that saying words is one thing, but physical assault is another. Thus far in the proceedings, Mr. Depp hasn't done anything criminal towards Miss Heard, which is the ONLY matter that should be weighing on the jury's decision.
This is not a criminal case . It is a Defamation case . If he lies about how sweet and wonderful he is , he is actually going to lose .
