Ok disclaimer Guys the Shotgun can be purchased cheaper in the UK than the Super Meteor by £100. This is not the case in any other market. All European Markets the SM 650 remains about €300 more expensive at the basic models. No bad intent guys, just the foibles of the UK market.

@@motechRevolution That is some goofy pricing differences. The Super Meteor and Shotgun are more or less the same bike. underneath. Nothing about it is really cheaper other than the lack of chrome and polish, which may explain the price difference.
@@OddBallPerformance I think it’s down to market perception, in Europe especially the south, so called cruiser are popular due to the warm climate. In the UK the Shotgun is seen as a custom bike. It stands to reason that in countries that most riders do not ride in bad weather, like the UK the market is greater for a weekend pose to the local Starbucks. Could be wrong but has you say they are petty much the same machines.

The Shotgun is a cheaper priced bike? Assuming you aren't talking about the Shotgun 650, because it's not cheaper.
The Shotgun 650 is cheaper than the SM 650 in every market. The SM 650 is the flagship of RE
The cheapest shotgun here in Spain is €7387 the cheapest SM super meteor is €7447
