Pretty similar to where I live, but I'm in the hills of MS. There are only a few residents on our 15 miles of gravel rd.
The kids from town will ride the backroads and drink beer on occasion, but other than that, no one is back here that shouldn't be.
I have some Gung ho neighbors that will park a tractor in the road and question suspicious people. The sherriff let's them do it. 😅
I will definitely help a neighbor if they call me, but I'm not bothering anyone that stays on the road.
Most of our homes (including mine), are perched on ridges. We all have hunting rifles (among other toys), and nobody really wants to mess around out here unless they are idiots.
About ten years ago we had some burglaries while people's guard was down. (They made the mistake of coming back for more)
Now everyone has cameras, and is ready for whatever.

I served in the Marine corps from 1970 to 1973, New York City Police Dept. from 1974 till 1994. Did a couple of years in the NY Army National Guard and a couple years in the USMCR. I'm in my 70's today and still carry everyday. No longer living in NYC, thank God. Every few years I train and carry a new firearm. Built my own AR15. Today I carry a S&W M&P Shield Plus with a red dot sight. Every year I take a defensive Pistol Course. About 4 years ago I took a two day Defensive pistol and carbine course. I believe in training. I love to shoot. But, as I get older, I've found that it's a skill that you lose if you don't use it. Chris Miller is a lot younger than I. But, I can appreciate his enthusiasm.

The 92f is a great gun. Most of the ones in the Army were shot out and under maintained. I shot expert one time with one that would not completety chamber the round, I was smacking the slide into battery and then shooting the target. Sent that gun to the armorer and got the springs replaced and it operated perfect.

Best thing in my EDC is my trained dog. He is German Shpepard-Pitbull mix. I named him Benno in honor of U.S. Army Ranger Julian McDonald's dog who was KIA.
I got him during covid and he had 5 homes in 2 months. He was very aggresive and nobody could handle him so I thought Benno was pretty suiting. Now I have trained him so he has tramed aggression. He is my buddy and and great addition to my EDC. He goes everywhere I go. He looks like a brindle German Shepard on steriods with a pitbull head.

It was like holding a coffee can full of nickels! It was so sloppy and loose. I still achieved a perfect score on the DOD Course of Fire, but it was a struggle. I like the idea of that Macro X Comp slide, on top of a 365XL grip. You can still EDC with a 17-round mag in place if that works for you (with how you're dressing for the weather or situation), or if you are worried about really not printing (for whatever reason), you can use the 12-round XL mag. It's easier to conceal that way, with less chance of printing, and you can still get a good/decent purchase on the grip (depending on your hand size). And you can carry extra 15 or 17-round mags for back-up. (Also, the Wilson Combat frame modules are certainly worth checking out.)

In a SHTF situation a Ruger 10/22 will get you other weapons and items. Its like the starting weapon in a game lol. Cheap and easy to shoot and learn.

27:31 Sig took a page from the A-10? For those not aware, the military had a gun that fired 40mm rounds and the USAF said “you know what, it would be pretty cool if we had a plane with that on it” so they had a plane built around it.

Super down to Earth and totally legit. We can use men as leaders like him. As a former SecDef he is clearly NOT an establishment guy. For him to talk about not having money is EXACTLY the kinda leader and politician we need. He also doesn’t trust government! Im wondering exactly what he saw!

I lived in wv and there is plenty of water, but you have to be careful bc they really polluted the hell out of it. There are plenty of mountains, hallows and cliff faces which act as natural barrier. TN is very similar to wv in terms of more Rocky/appalachian terrain, but wv is way more “rural” which would probably be a better option but…dang…I did not think about the water part if I were to up and move to wv if some stuff popped off. I already live in a rural area but it’s starting to grow in popularity, especially since Covid hit, people have been searching for mountain homes.

We need water: chem spills. We need food: food processing plants burn down. We need oil: middle east raising prices to avoid us stocking reserve. We need meat: meat going through china. We need money: us dollar inflated and brics going off us standard. We need meds: most produced overseas. ANYONE CONNECTING DOTS YET?
